  • Kootink Heather Douville takes us harvesting and gathering on Prince of Wales Island. From berries and tea leaves to salmon and herring eggs, the land and sea provide food that have sustained out people for generations.
    Gumboots Go! was created by the Central Council of the Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska (Tlingit and Haida) and Cedar Group with the purpose of creating online learning opportunities for Alaskan children while celebrating the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian cultures.
    Tlingit & Haida is a tribal government representing more than 37,000 Tlingit and Haida Indians worldwide.
