AWESOME VIDEO! Thank you for taking the time to make this short clip. I am buying a 2013 M5 F10 in a couple days, learning everything I can about the car

water entered my engine and the service center fixed it by cleaning the intake , changing airfilter , and remove the water from engine by changing the oil 3 times, the car is currently running fine and i have driven 500miles on it after this , my question is what is the next oil change miles in it ,also is it advisable to keep the car or sell it ,? cause i remember you have a blown engine too. i watched your videos its was very helpful.

Great video! Any reason you pointed out the intercooler refill point on the passenger side of the engine bay instead of the engine coolant refill point on the driver's side of the engine bay? My leaking hoses are making the engine coolant level go down, but the intercooler coolant level seems stable (they are separate systems, and some owner's manuals incorrectly point to the intercooler reservoir as the engine coolant reservoir).

Did you use the same heat blankets?

Did you have to bleed the system with coolant?

The system is self bleeding. You just have to make sure to fill up the reservoir.

Hello, i have a 2013 M5 which I am getting an “electrical/plastic” smell coming thru the vents after the car is warm. And sometimes I get some smoke coming from the engine bay. One mechanic said it’s not coolant or oil leaks, another said it is a coolant leak. Do you think coolant line leakage could be the cause?

Coolant has a very distinct smell so it’s hard to mistaken it for something else. It sort of has a sweet scent.

how ling did it take you to replace the lines?

Is there a reason why the coolant lines isn’t one piece/ or could the coolant line be welded? - it seemed like it was long enough to touch

Needs room for expansion / to move would be the only reason I can see.

Do you know if you can buy those “heat blankets” separately? If you find them link please 🙏🏼
