All Muslims of the world must condemn this mass murder of innocent people inside a place of worship. Further they must make sure that the murders are caught and punished.
Most Christians nowadays believe in the trinity, i.e., Jesus was a man, a son of God, and God himself - this would be shirk to Muslims. I think in the early days of Christianity (Bani Israel), they did not believe in the trinity, thus they were Al-Kitaab then but, it can be argued now, are no longer Al-Kitaab.
The Cristians at the time of the Prophet (pbuh) had the same belief as Christians today.

As a Christian I have to correct you. Yes! We believe in ONE God who to us is Jesus Christ. We believe he is the Son of God and was crucified and raised from the dead by God the Father (Yahweh to Jews and Christians).
We also believe in 3 entities known as the Holy Trinity that is, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. That is the Holy Trinity.

There's difference of opinions in this regard. Some say is forbidden, some strongly disagree with marriage, but not forbidden.

There's a valid reason why they need to make people believe the Bible is corrupted or has been altered, to promote the Koran instead. No one else reads the Koran e.g.Jews and Christians.

Christians have always believed an accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. He is God to us and Son of God too. We also believe in the Trinity which is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Nothing has changed since the times of Christ. We do not worship the same God as Muslims. That is very clear. Jesus is God to Christians and Muslims don't accept this so we don't worship the same God.

There are conditions on marrying a Christian or a Jewish women . 1st the Christian or the Jewish woman have to be devout and practicing Christian or Jew . 2nd The Christian or Jewish woman have to be pure and has never been in a sexual relationship with another man. 3rd The Christian or Jewish woman have to be living in the Muslim lands. And if anybody ignores these conditions well face problems in the marriage. This Imam is clearly has little information about Islam and also Muslim women is prohibited in marrying a non Muslim man in Islam . So make these mistakes and you will pay a price eventually.

I think, “people of the book” refers to the followers of Moses and Jesus. As such, those people no longer exist today. They were all dead long ago. Some might still exist during the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). We believe that the books of the so-called present-day “Jews and Christians” are corrupted versions of the revelations sent down to Musa and Isa (peace be upon them both). Hence, followers of those books may not qualify as the “people of the book”. Allah knows best.
But, the Jews and Christians at the time of the Prophet Muhammad were also corrupted and we're away from the teachings of Musa and Isa.

Exactly. At the time of the Prophet, Islam and Christianity had a lot in common. Remember Warqa Bin Naufal? A Christian man who accepted Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) to be the last messenger of Allah. So many things have changed since then. Christians of today don't follow what Christians at the time of the Prophet believed. Also, they openly commit shirk.

He basically said if we consider the whole quran then you will come to know that except muhammad SAW, all other prophets were sent to one nation and christian, jews they were bani israel so by this he says you can only marry a non muslim who is christian or jew and not people of other religion like hindu, budhist, etc. In christian and jew you can only marry someone who is from the bani israel that means he is from israel or his ancestors are israeli, if someone who racially belongs to any other country is not christian or jew even if they say believe in jesus or moses they will not be christian or jew because jesus and moses were sent only for bani israel.

Nowadays it quite difficult to ascertained the true beliefs of those considered people of the books.
People of the books are those who followed strictly the divine teaching from words of Allah compiled in its original state without any modifications, alterations or additions that altered its originality.
Only AlQuran is still maintained its original forms from divine words of Allah as compiled by Nabi Muhammad friends n even the words of Nabi Muhammad, n the compilation of his authentic hadiths, kept n preserved by scholars of lslam.
Others are already altered, added n modified. Bible Old Testament, believe probably still contained major portion of originality n New Testament which contains mostly interpretations, clarifications n definitions by Nabi lsa twelve disciples are considered as acceptable bible of revelation.
Same goes with Torah book of Nabi lbrahim/Abraham teaching which given in words of divinity but nowadays there are alternative of established Talmud.
In such cases, the originality of both books are compromised either by alterations, additions or perhaps modifications over the years, n hence the needs to ascertain the knowledge of the followers of what they believed in by a scholarly Muslim of impeccable syariah credentials.
Yes, only Muslim man are allowed to non muslim women, even then they still needs to qualified themselves through stringent vetting process by lslamic authorities for they need to be able to guide n maintained their congregations in the righteous belief in God.
Muslim women are not allowed except their potential suitors convert to lslam, n learnt n be a practicing Muslim as in lslam, man are supposed to lead n guide their family n not the other way around.

With due respect, Shaykh skipped a very very important condition to marry Ahlul Kitab women, is that they have to be virgins. Allahu alam.
Also the Scripture he says Christ said Himself , He is only for the lost sheep of Israel is the book of Matthew 10:6 here Christ sends the apostles out not to the Gentiles, but only the lost sheep of Israel. So Christ did not say he came ONLY for Israel, NO!. He simply gave the apostles a mission and RESERVED the mission of the Gentiles to Paul, who, if you know the Scripture at all, will know that Paul was a head Pharasee, knew the Scripture better than any and was persecuting Christians. Christ blinded him and turned him into an apostle of Jesus and his mission was to preach the gospel to all the Gentiles. Guess what.. that means, Chinese, Indians, Russians, etc. ANY Human being can and are called to be Christians

As a Christian I just wanted to clear any confusion over what we believe. I'm not here to argue that which religion is better, right or wrong. I'm simply informing anyone who isn't a Christian, of what we believe. See below⬇
We believe in ONE God who to us is Jesus Christ. So Jesus, is God to Christians. This is a fundamental important part of being a Christian and Christianity. That we accept Jesus is God and he is.
So in terms of being a monotheistic religion, we fulfil part of that because we believe in ONE God who is Jesus.
We also believe in the Holy Trinity. Which comprises of 3 entities. The Trinity is; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. So God is 3 in 1. God the Father is the Creator. Jews and Christians call him Yahweh. He is also Jesus' Father. So Christians worship Jesus as God. Jews worship Yahweh and Christians do too. We acknowledge God the Father and God the Son, as 2 different individuals. Jesus (Yeshua) is The Son of God and God to. And Yahweh is the Creator and God senior in other words. Jesus assumes the role of Yahweh and claims his works as his own whilst also acknowledging Yahweh as the Creator and his Father AND God too.
So Christianity also fulfils the criteria for Polytheism.
Can a Christian male or female marry a non Christian? In reality yes! But biblically it is discouraged. Anyone who doesn't believe that Jesus is God and Son of God, that he was crucified and raised from the dead by God the Father, isn't a Christian and is therefore considered condemned by Jesus who is our God as Christians. So a Christian marrying a non Christian (unbeliever) is unbiblical. There are Christians who have married unbelievers though but their marriages are not considered God ordained because they have married someone who doesn't accept Jesus as God and loves him the way a Christian does. In the words of Jesus "Not everyone who says Lord Lord! Is a Christian...On the day of judgement I will say, I knew you not!".
So can a Muslim marry a Christian from a Christian perspective? Yes! But is it biblical and accepted religiously? The Bible repeatedly warns against interfaith marriage. It is not encouraged.
