Hi Amith! Thanks! Glad it was useful ☺️
Hi, I am confused between the Faber models of Apex, Vertex and Zenith. Can you suggest which one to go for please?
Hi, currently researching chimneys. Video will come soon!
Thanks for the informative video. Our kitchen is 8 ftx 5 ft, L shaped kitchen. We used to have exhaust fan, now we are planning buy chimney. we have three burner hob and the pipe length could be max 5 ft. we use oily cooking quite often. please suggest chimney options with double baffle filter and oil collector both autoclean and non autoclean. Thanks in advance again for this advice.
Hi SUBASH GHOSH! You can consider this amzn.to/3NgzTk7 with baffle filter.
It's not available now
Thanks bro

Hi Kamal, glad you found it useful!

Hi Swati! Exciting phase of setting up a new kitchen! Yes I will do that too soon 😊
@@TheGrapevineIndia thank you
I was so confused between baffled filter and filter less auto clean chimneys. And you have well explained regarding this in your video good job. I have few queries here 1) So I understand that in the case of ' baffle filter auto clean ' we have to clean the baffle filter too? 2) can you suggest a filter less auto clean chimney having size 90 cm and suction above 1200 with noise level below 60 db for my open kitchen.
Hi Shyam, typically the auto clean function is for the insides near the motor and such where there are oil deposits. It also helps to liquify the oil deposits near the filter. But you may still need to clean it occasionally. Once a year service is also required - for all types of filters. You can consider the Faber 90 cms - amzn.to/3Dwkh6Y which has less than 60db noise level too.
@@TheGrapevineIndia thank you
Thanks for the Very informative video, explaining the difference between BAFFLE & Filter less Chimneys. What's your opinion of GLEN Chimneys?
Because my interior Designer is Suggesting the same!!!
Hi Ganesh, Glen is OK, better brands are Elica, Faber, now Hindware. But you will get Glen at a better pricepoint.
Hey Mam,
I need to install only and only ductless chimney, I will put a charcoal filter near the upper hole from where usually duct pipe gets connection, please recommend best baffle filter and my cooking is not much as only parents will be using, please advice accordingly
Hi Shwetank, the options for ductless unfortunately are reducing by the day. Here is one option you can consider amzn.to/3ugWqHM
Thanks a lot ma'am, i find this video at a perfect time, i will now purchase filterless chimney for my home. Hindware Greta Autoclean 60 is looking good. Request you to suggest if i can go with it?
Hi Lucky, for autoclean filterless, these are the three I recommend. I use the Elica model.
Elica EFL-S601/901 amzn.to/3eFroAA
Elica EFL-S607 VMS amzn.to/3wzb3n0
Faber FLHC SC BK 60 amzn.to/3hX6kX0
Quite informative and to the point information

Mam, your video is well informative and as now i wants to buy chimney but very much confused to select the better chimeny over Elica ismart models and Faber models, please advise me best selection to chose of latest models - my budget range 15k ro 20k. Thanks
Hi Mansinh, my video on chimneys is coming soon. Did you want a filterless or baffle filter one?
Hi Mam, Thanks for sharing information, I like angular Hood chimney 60 cm(Auto clean) But my budget is low around 10 to 13k. Will you suggest me any angular Hood chimney or I should go for curved glass hood chimney.
Hi! Yes you can get angular in that budget. I'm using a higher version of this amzn.to/3wzb3n0 which is good. Slightly higher than your budget. At that budget you may have to compromise on auto clean - in which case you can consider this amzn.to/3KkK5Hf
@@TheGrapevineIndia Hi I have been using Glen filterless. It is really good but I feel overcharged in after sales. They charge travel expenses alongwith service charges.
Thanks for sharing details. Which brand provides good service after sale? Is there any issue with elica service?
Faber probably has the best aftersales. Elica is fairly decent - I haven’t had any issue so far.
Hello mam hope you are doing good, I'm looking upto buying preethi KH207 for my kitchen, please let me know is that fine or good to go for, mine is 3burber stove. I have budget in range of 15k. Also let me know is the technology fine for less maintenance and long run plzzzzzz
Hi Gowtham, you can consider this amzn.to/3j9dVSP for a 3 burner hob under 15k.
Very very useful.. Thanks. Can ductless chimney have auto clean technology?
Hi Jayesh! Thank you :) Very few options in ductless chimney these days (unfortunately) and in general, no they do not have auto clean.
Thanks 🙏
Filter less Is good.. I have been using it for a while now. Previously I have use the bafflefilter one also. Though I am very dissatisfied with the hindware after sales of my filterless chimney
Hi @mystifyingdude! Yes, filterless is good enough for home use 😊 thanks for sharing feedback about Hindware
Can you recommend a good chimney with baffle filter auto clean for 3 burner gas stove with 120 sq ft OPEN kitchen
Hi Aks, since you have an open kitchen, you may need one with a higher suction. Also a higher suction if your pipe is longer to the duct. So with that - I recommend this model with auto clean, baffle - amzn.to/3Kty7uQ. Most angular ones come in the filterless categories.
Hi Ma'am
I am planning to buy a chimney can you please help in choosing I have Whirlpool CGBF PRO suction 1425 in offline market at price 12000 and Kaff K series Filterless on Amazon at 10,500 please help me in choosing also consider which companies chimney is best to buy and after sale service.
I have also checked for Elica WDFL at 12000 for 1200m3 suction
How to clean efl s607chimney
How much suction capacity has to b chosen for optimum noise level? And which brand is bettr (concerning noise level)
Hi, lower suction power will have lower noise level - but the suction capabiity also will be low. Ideal will be between 1000-1200. But that should be determined based on your type of kitchen and cooking pattern. This video should help - ua-cam.com/video/6SUmJc40Zi8/v-deo.html
We have a 2 burner stove. My mom has health problems and will not be able to clean the chimney regularly. Is faber 60cm filterless chimney good for us? Also we have a window just above the stove. Can the chimney be fitted in the window? Will there be reduced efficiency of the chimney due to the windows(will the smoke enter our kitchen again through the window or closing it will solve the problem)?
Hi Kanimozhi! If you have a window right above the stove and you keep the window open, you could consider just getting a powerful exhaust fan as you have sufficient ventilation. I don't believe it is possible to fix a chimney on a window.
Yes, possible to fit chimney over a window grill. They have a hook kind of clamp costing Rs.1500, over which chimney is mounted.
Thank you
Thanks 🙏
Hello dear, I am confused to buying between Hindware Iris, Hindware greta, Hindware Serena, Hindware Maple. Please advise me which one is good in all above option.
Hi, currently researching chimneys. Video will come soon!
Hello ma'am
We have a 2 burner gas stove and open kitchen which is best filterless or baffle filter chimney for our kitchen and which brand should we go for elica or Faber?
Hi k sneha! You can go with filterless, but make sure you get one with higher suction as it is an open kitchen. You can consider this one amzn.to/3z3ssJz in curved and this amzn.to/3CFceX4 in angular.
@@TheGrapevineIndia thank you ma'am.
IS IT GOOD TO BUY ELICA " I SMART SPOT BF LTW NERO" ALSO REGARDING AFTER SALE SERVICE OF ELICA IN SOUTH DELHI?
Hi Shrishti Malhotra! If you are referring to this amzn.to/3SsOb4c yes go for it. Low noise, specially useful if ducting is longer.
Hlo mam , i have stairs nd a little open space outside my kitchen. The kitchen dimensions are 8 by 5 foot . I have a 2 burner gas stove . So pls suggest which one should i choose baffle filter or filterless.. pls reply fast as i need to buy it this week..

Hi Chetna, for a 2 burner - a 60cm should be sufficient. Go for filterless for ease of use and cleaning. If you want a good one in hindware / kaff - choose this amzn.to/34xMRck.

Hello can you please suggest best filter less chimney 90cm in elica above 1200 suction capacity
Hi Swathi, if you are looking for an angular one - this one amzn.to/3SwK9II is 1300pa. If you are looking for a curved one - this one amzn.to/3PeZaw8
Which horizontal 60 cm filterless auto clean ducted model do u suggest? Any option in stainless steel available?
Is Elica after sales service good?
Hi @dasskaur - in the horizontal format, you can consider one of these amzn.to/3a9ga87 or amzn.to/39WBT2Q. Elica service is good in tier 1 cities, but with service - best to call the service center once before ordering to see their responsiveness to your needs.
Excuse me mam, can you please share your review regarding faber (hood premia 3D plus ind hc sc by 60) model
Hi Sushma, if you are referring to this amzn.to/3uBy4Xu, it's good.
Good information ma'am 👌😊
Thank you, Shelly!
Preethi chimneys are available in Chennai. Preethi is a well known brand in Tamilnadu.
Unfortunately, they have all their models only with Baffle filter ( till 10 model).
They have launched a new model, 2 weeks back with filterless option (11 model). But it is available only in 60cm model.
One advantage of Preethi is the service network in Tamilnadu. They give 3 free service for first year, along with free deep cleaning service. And a toll free number for other services post 1 year.
Are you using Preethi? If yes, how good is it in performance?
Mam, faber 1500 suction with baffle filter or faber 1200 with filterless(which is less costly) which one to choose? Can you please tell me the approx cost of service the chimney?
Hi Debanshu - technology wise both are different. Your day to day maintenance in a filterless will be lower. If you are cooking lot of oily food, then you can go with a 1500 suction, else 1200 is sufficient. Service on a regular basis will be approximately once a year. It can cost anywhere from Rs. 600 - Rs. 1500, based on your location and work involved. You can check with Faber for your specific model.
@TheGrapevineIndia hi saumya, it's quite urgent for me, can u reply me , I need an angular chimney, as per yr suggestion of budget one tat elica model doesn't have auto clean option , so 20k or below tat can u suggest me an model in 60 cm with angular type
Hi Narmadha, are you referring to this one? www.amazon.in/dp/B07JFF8TDP?tag=thegrapevin08-21. ? It does have auto clean and is the one I use. If this does not work for you, please go with this one - amzn.to/3DSTUux
Could you please tell that when we can say the food menu in my house is using much oil? Because mostly in indian kitchen oil, ghee is used. So please help me to choose between baffle filter chimney or filterless chimney. When exactly to use filterless
Baffle filter is better for high oil cooking - but ensure to clean the baffle filter often.
We purchased hindware baffle filter nevio 60 about 2 months back
Wanted to go filterless but didnt research much at the time( heard filterless drips oil more comparitively?)
I should ve found ur channel then; might ve changed my mind; rather than just selecting most common purchased thing
Hi @smiling face - no problem! Baffle filters are still good, but require some amount of maintenance on a regular basis. Both baffle and filterless would drip if the chimney is not serviced for a really long time.
hi mam....Is faber hood jupiter plus hc sc bk 60 good???.....please say
Hi Mahesh, this one amzn.to/3IjzFpI? Yes - good for large kitchens and non-veg cooking as it has higher suction.
tq mam
mam please tell me about maintenance for baffle and filter less chimneys thanks..good work mam 🙏
Hi Babu! thank you. Baffle filters you can wash yourself. Filterless chimneys don't have a filter, so no washing required. But if you cook with more oil, consider baffle filter chimneys.
Plz suggested me chimney Hindware or elica??? Both in1200 suction power
Or suggest me filler less or buffel plz
Hi Rajat, I am using the Elica one. One of these three should be good:
Elica EFL-S601/901 amzn.to/3eFroAA
Elica EFL-S607 VMS amzn.to/3wzb3n0
Faber FLHC SC BK 60 amzn.to/3hX6kX0
How loud is elica and faber??? Is it louder than bosch filter??
Hi Priyadarshini P! Not loud at all.
Auto clean with baffle filter vs filterless which shoul i buy durable?
Hi! Filterless for easier maintenance.. Baffle filter for very high oil usage. in general - filterless should suffice imho)
Hi, my mom runs a tiffin service in the society, which chimney would you recommend (baffle filter or filterless)
Hi Manik, filterless is ok. Just make sure to run the auto clean often.
Good Mam..Neat explanation.. Can you suggest me best Chimney for long life? Which brand is number one Elica or Faber??I am looking for 60CM for three burner gas stove??
Hi Harish, both are good brands and have been around for a while. I used Faber in the past, recently moved to Elica. I have linked to a few in the description. Also here ->

Mam, from your professional experience, can you suggest few good quality auto clean chimney (60cm) with baffle filter in the market.
Hi Tapan - for one with Baffle filter and auto clean - Faber amzn.to/3HoDn2g is what I would recommend.
@@TheGrapevineIndia But Mam, country of origin is China, I need Make in India model, kindly advise.
Mam please suggest me a good chimney model. Budget 14000 . 90 cm or 60 cm is better ??
Hi Sourav, 90 or 60 cm depends on what size stove you use. I would recommend these in your budget amzn.to/3wzb3n0 (angular, auto clean, filterless) or amzn.to/3q8ZF0O (baffle with auto clean)
Thanks for the video. But I have doubt that in filterles chimney does gas grease affects the motor and its life as it sucks the gas directly.
Hi Mihir, in filterless there is a covering around the motor to protect it to some extent. Also we need to run the auto clean cycle frequently which melts and collects the oil from inside thr chimney in the oil collector - which needs to be cleaned frequently like once in 3-4 weeks to make sure you don’t have a ton of grease. In addition, similar to other filter chimney’s - it is recommended to service the chimney around once a year where the service folks will clean the insides. The filterless chimney reduces day to day maintenance only 😊
@@TheGrapevineIndia thanks for clarifying.
@@TheGrapevineIndia I disagree with the yearly service ( as I believe it would require a more regular one)as with this filterless technology there is no filter(Mesh or baffle) catching hold of the oil, so the oil is expected to escape to the motor side and get collected near the blower which a technician can clean.
Hi Rajat! Thanks for sharing. This was the recommended frequency by the service personnel of Elica. Its been a few weeks since I started using it. Will update on how much oil it collects and frequency of cleaning required once I use it more.
@@TheGrapevineIndia any update on this?
Ma'am, is the filter less chimney more noisy ?
Hi Gurjant, no, it is not. Perhaps equal or less.
Useful video. How is the after sale service of Elica, KAFF and Faber ? Which one is better ?
Hi Navaneetha! I have used all three at different times - right now I have an Elica Chimney and KAFF hob, previously I had a Faber chimney and hob. I've had good experience with all three. But that also depends on which area you stay at and their serviceability in that area.
try Glen.

Elica and Faber is best chimney

Sure, I’m using filterless too.
Can you suggest an angular chimney with least noise. I get headache with chimney noise.
Hi Asha Kamath! Most of them make noise, the with duct and filterless ones are slightly better from a noise point of view. You can consider one of these amzn.to/3GERwbq or amzn.to/3VbxT0W
@@TheGrapevineIndia how is kutchina chimney, angular one.

Hi Pushpam - is your hob 90 cm? I use this one amzn.to/3FMeyfS in 60 cm, which is quite good. You can also consider Faber amzn.to/30V9Exo 90 cm. Both filterless, auto clean with motion sensors.

What about Oil dripping problem in filterless chimney?
Haven’t seen it if you clean the oil collector frequently.
In most of the youtube videos and even at local shops it was advised to go with baffle filter chimney instead of filterless chimney at home. As in filterless they claimed that oil got stuck at machinary and later on it may harm motor and reduce suction efficiency also. In addition to this please suggest chimney will minimum sound.
Based on this would u still recommend filterless for home usage?
Hi Ishan, I’ve been using it for a few months now, the sound is equivalent or less than baffle (I used baffle in the past). Every chimney requires regular maintenance- in the case of filterless - a once a year service where they will clean the insides if required. In general - during the auto clean cycle - the oil that may have settled on the exterior of the motor gets heated and melted and gets collected in the oil collection tray. This tray can be cleaned manually based on how much oil is collected.
I would recommend filterless- easy to manage with better designs these days.
Madam which is the least maintenance kitchen chimney..
Hi Prateek Srivastava! Consider an auto clean chimney - with or without baffle filter. This one for filterless amzn.to/3GERwbq and this one with filter amzn.to/3NgzTk7
@@TheGrapevineIndia thanks mam for your consideration..
But then why are filter less chimneys costlier than baffle filter chimneys they too to the tune 5-6 thousands rupees in some cases
M confused, help is appreciated
Hi Vardhan! Because generally newer models are more expensive.
Can ductless chimneys be filterless?
Hi Kiran, very few ductless options (unfortunately) and most do come with Baffle filters.
Thanx for the inputs…Kindly look up for pronunciation of Baffle🤓
haha yes. I corrected it subsequently 🤓🤓🤓
Baffle filter vs filterless which is better?
Hi ARPAN SAHA! Depends on your cooking style - if way too oily, recommend going for Baffle.
Please share a video on gas stove.
Hi Anil - I have made comparison on hobs, not yet on stoves. The Hob comparisons are here ->
4 burner: ua-cam.com/video/f3Niaq3XUBM/v-deo.html and
3 burner: ua-cam.com/video/WJK_pe6XvfI/v-deo.html.
Would you want a stove comparison?
@@TheGrapevineIndia : I am looking for a comparison since I could not find a quality. Feedback influencing purchase.
I want to buy one for my parents where they two live. I’m thinking of Hindware Niveo plus 60 Baffle auto clean or Ripple 60 Filterless auto clean. They don’t cook heavy, or not much non vegetarian.
I don’t want to put extra efforts for them. Is a filterless recommended here?
Hi Rajasekhar, filterless has much lower maintenance than one with a Baffle filter. You will need a service once a year to make sure they clean the insides. I think filterless is a good option for them. They would need to only do a periodic auto clean and a clean of the oil collector then.
