may, or may not have made the lava & water textures swap, so with the buckets, and also the every sword look like a pickaxe, and renamed them, same with the pickaxes, and sent it to my friend :)
if you don't have the jar file, you need to launch minecraft without any mod, just with the basic launcher and start a game, after that the files gonna pop up

God damnit bro I did the part where you extract the 1.21.1 file on the Desktop and fucking FILEBOMBED my desktop with 8,000+ class files. I guess 7zip and Winrar work differently... And for SOME reason (P.S. no reason at all, the Universe just hates me), NONE of those extra files were appearing in the Desktop folder, so I had to manually delete all of them from my computer. At least I could highlight multiple and delete them in chunks. Thank you, tutorial man! I'm so (not) excited to make my resource pack! (kill me)

Next time, i recomend doing it on a folder, so if you mess it up it doenst go everywhere in your desktop, also im not sure if it would kill your pc, mine lagged a lot but not crashing

i dont think did it right but the result funny i became a white blob (edit i did it right don't use paint because the items will have a white box around it and the armour if you change armour will be a white blob)

Make sure you have played that version of Minecraft, if it is still not there, check a similar version, as 1.20.1 may use the same file as 1.20.0 for example

I HAD A CUSROM MADE TEXTURE PACK WITH OVER 24 HOURS PUT INTO IT AND THEN IN 1.21 THEY CHANGED EVERYTHING

The trident has textures in the item folder and entity folder make sure you texture both

The way to fix it is to make sure you only have the wurst mod and fabric api installed, and not any other mods

Make sure you replace the txt at the end and don't just add .mcmeta
