What I find really impressive outside the driving is how the car cooling is so effective, oil never goes above 100C° and water never above 85°C, for a race car that is pushed for hours wow
Oil 2 degrees up or down, no change.
@@leonardosena6338 I have honestly ragged my mid engine Porsche and it in short responds with try harder. It literally takes what ever the tyres can handle max Oil i managed to get it to 104C°. The car just doesnt deteriorate in performance or reliability. Open exhaust naturally aspirated is where they really shine. Check out the RSR open exhausts. They are a dream.
They got big oil coolers, and they use pure water in the water cooling system for better heat dissipation
lol it is built for these conditions.
These are literally designed for the sole purpose of endurance.

Its weird racing fans dont understand different racing series have different rules for these kinds of things.
not everyone understand that on the gt car it’s a bit harder to follow the track limits
As someone in the USA just coming into watching European Porsche Cup, and GT for that matter, knowing the track limits is helpful. I watch F1, and yeah, their track limits are different. No big deal to me, just helps when I know what I'm seeing.
All these fanboys complaining while watching from the sofa with the stomach full of beer. Just some losers👍
I've been playing a lot of GT7 after I broke my ankle and this video really demonstrates the realism and detail that goes into that game. At first, I thought I was watching an elaborate SIM racing set up. Great driving, living the dream man.
Nowadays it is hard to tell as these new sim rigs are becoming perfect 😂😂
This guy seriously needs to do a sim tour. the immersion is insane, I can’t imagine how hot his pc gets with these graphics.

I amazes me how professional race car drivers can drive so close to the car ahead without causing an accident. Pure instinct knowing when to break. Impressive because it's really hard to do and I'm improving this skill in Forza, which is just a videogame.
В forza у тебя нет ощущения автомобиля, а это очень важно. Никакой дорогой и самый лучший руль на свете не даст тебе ощущения автомобиля, перегрузок. Чтобы так водить, нужно чувствовать свой автомобиль как свои 5 пальцев, а в симуляторе это невозможно. Так же проблемы с обзором, ты просто не можешь головой крутить)
Но все же это прекрасная возможность хотя бы чуть чуть себя почувствовать гонщиком и находиться в центре событий каждому.
Ye, In iracing as well it's about trust and confidence in not only yourself but judging the car in front of you, always impressive to see how close people can get without contact
Stop forza if u want to improve real skills, its the most unrealistic game, assetto corsa way better or gt7 not bad too

I know it's nowhere close to being the same as what you are doing, but I race a Legends Car here in California at places like Laguna Seca, Sonoma Raceway, and Thunderhill. The onboard footage is beautiful. Wish they could get footage like that on the large broadcasts. I understand streaming live makes it more difficult, but it would make races so much more exciting to watch.

Brilliant stuff. Can't beat the onboard GT3 engine sounds. Like the tv coverage picture in picture for race context as well as the personal text commentary. Next you need a rear cam too! Love the blue MB getoutofmyway button 😀. The Red Bull Ring looks like a really competitive track and was a great watch. Best of luck for the next one 👍

Amazing vids Dirk. Video and sound quality are spot on and a perfect perspective for anyone can’t do the real thing to get a feel for what it’s like for the driver.
Normal external race footage makes it all look so smooth and in control which just ain’t how it feels in car.

Thanks for the awesome video, Dirk. What a great perspective and entertaining race. Have to love the modern day where we basically get to take a seat behind the driver's eyes and see what he sees. Those cup cars look tricky to say the least, really have to tip-toe on that fine line between power, downforce (or lack thereof) and mechanical grip. Makes for a hell of a great race.
