The more I look at the incident, the more it seems that the green car steered towards you, while you were entitled to that space. It is obvious that you are navigating the car to the right, to make the next corner. But, that's part of the racing as well, I guess. None the less, great driving, amazing content and you have mega support here, Dirk. Keep it up!
i honestly didn't expect the crash to happen there i tought contact would happen with the purple and orange car it's a shame that that happened but still could have been a lot worse watching you confused after the contact was quite sad but props for cathing up to the back of the field you had a good pace just bad luck

hahah thanks man! Appreciate this comment! I will let the captions stay longer next time. I got a very harsh 30 sec time penalty and 2 points deduction of the championship. The telemetry does not matter, just sucks that the sd card was broken. I speak Dutch as I am born in the Netherlands. I will do some more singing haha.

6:20 Why have you been penalized? It seemed that you were keeping your line and it was not even time to turn for corner so going straight shouldn't be a reason to penalize if there isn't any other reason of course
Hey Dirk! Many thanks for your videos and fight! This crash is not your fault, but overtaking these two was perfect :D Technical issue: If you're using a GoPro as a POV, random camera shutdown may mean the camera overheats (what's the temperature in the car during the race? ;) ). Maybe reduce the recording resolution to Full HD (not 4K) and the camera will record longer and more stable. Stay safe!
If I remember correctly, it's (no longer) a GoPro. I remember him saying that if he'll use a GoPro he'll be disqualified. I don't know why though, seems like a weird rule :(
Shame about the crash but was a good recovery especially considering the gap to the back of the field even after the safty car. Did they explain why they found you at fault? From your pov it looks like you were far enough along side to be given space but ended up just coming across into you trying to defend

Why did you get a penalty, and a 30 second one at that? From your cam it looks like they turned in on you (lol GR moment) In my racing our penalties are just post race 2 positions down, Rear Of Field and DQ.
