What a thrilling race! Watching from the POV perspective feels like I'm right there on the track. The Nürburgring always delivers excitement, especially in the Porsche Cup. Can't wait to see more!
Amazing the consistency, if you are on a PC and press 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 you will see that he is always almost in the same part of the track haha 👏
Thanks for the great video and with excellent quality as well. Always interesting to see how something resembling closely to the sims I play looks in real life.
Thank you. More content to come from the 2024 season :) I also did a simracing comparison video you can checkout. Its crazy how close racing sims are to the real deal.
Nurburgring is my favorite track ever. That's an amazing feeling we both hit the same curbs, do the same turns on the same gears, but I do it in a motion rig and you drive a real thing 🔥My dream is to try it IRL and check if I can do something close to 2:20
Great video. The steering wheel is the same as my Fanatec and the frame rate is so high that for the first few seconds I was watching it thinking it was a sim!
Some quality POV, And what a driving! Love the sound, and your setup catches every aspect of the car sound, not like many onboard videos does, Keep it Up!
Great video...and awesome driving. I think you need to make the suspension a little more aggressive it's understeering a lot. Having oversteer versus understeer you can be a lot faster.
As a total newb I have one question, by looking at the shift lights it appears you typically shift a bit before redline. Is that intentional? Is the last light basically bouncing it off the redline? Amazing driving my friend
Thanks, appreciate it. I guess I usually just shift by ear and not the lights most of the time so it isn’t always optimal. You do have a bit of time before the rev limiter on the last light but it’s definitely unpleasant to hit if you miss it 😅
Another reason why we shift a bit earlier is that the engines power range doesn't go all the way to the top of the rev range. Which means that when we get to the last light, the car isn't accelerating as much as it would if we shifted earlier and back into the power range of the car
very cool video and nice driving its one of my favourite car/track combos. It would be nice if you add a relative so we know what position you are in and how many laps remaining :)
@@frederiklauferts Ok, but no other class was out on the track at the same time as you was in this race? Or was they all out on the track at the same time?
Not all cars are created EXACTLY but exit speed plays a factor in those straights as well so taking an altered line through the last turn onto the straight could mean you take the corner slower but you end up going faster on the straight.
Good job. Your breaking to early and your not holding the throttle on turns you keep coming off. Brake late break hard. You did an amazing job work on your throttle control so you can be more confident in those corners
Hey bro this is a really fun video. But i have a little critique, i think u should experiment/ learn the racing linea in this track because ive drove a gt3 (a little faster than your class) car in this track and i got around 1:57 and for your class i think 2.03 is good but it could be better. If you see the guy that your fighting with in the 1st and 2nd corner he has a way better exit than yours even tho youre really faster than him in the straigth line. Hope you dont take this critique the wrong way i just geniunely think u can improve youre driving in nurgburing. Thankyou
Great video, but I think you're leaving an awful lot of time out there in all the braking zones and that sometimes that's transferring into mid corner understeer, but the braking zones are the issue,

You should consider putting a camera facing the rear, would have loved to see what was going on behind you in that battle. Thanks for sharing!

Happy you like it. The water pressure sensor is giving an incorrect reading. Everything was fine though according to our mechanic

awesome i cant wait for next season@@frederiklauferts
Is the camera on top of your helmet or on the chin bar? Awsome driving btw.
Top of the helmet for visibility:)
are you allowed to hit the track at all or does that reduce in points?
out of curiosity, do you shift early to prolong the engine lifespan? Or is it because 3 yellow shiftlights simply indicate the optimum shift point?
no no. I just shift my ear and not the lights so sometimes I just dont hit the perfect shift.
@@frederiklaufertsthat’s really interesting, thanks
Assetto corsa 2. But really, too much blocking action in this race. Anyway, what a lucky man to have opportunity like this. I will keep dreaming...
It did say "P3 in class ahead..." at one time in this video, I wonder what more classes did race in this video beside your Porsche 911 Gen 1 CUP car?
So the PCHC series has 10 classes all the way from caymans, 996, 997, 991 cups but also an "open" class for the GT3R's and modified cups.
@@frederiklauferts Ok, but no other class was out on the track at the same time as you was in this race? Or was they all out on the track at the same time?
@@kiptanoi4422 no no there were other classes on track at the same time. You can spot some GT3Rs and caymans iirc
Glück mit dem Wetter 😊
just trying to get insight. Why did you attack from outside most of the times?
I guess it is just my driving style. No idea why I do it haha
Do you usually have round steering wheels in a porsche cup?
Yes, I think with the 992 they moved to a more F1 Style wheel
You rock, I enjoy your videos keep it up.
Geiler Fight ! Glückwunsch! Da gab s ja nich mal n Cooldown Lap !?!?
Ne... aber damit können die nächsten viel schneller wieder auf die Strecke.

Good battle, well done!
Keep going! awesome video :)
Thank you! Will do!
If the cars got the same engine, same powertrain... why some cars are faster at straights, other not so much!?
Not all cars are created EXACTLY but exit speed plays a factor in those straights as well so taking an altered line through the last turn onto the straight could mean you take the corner slower but you end up going faster on the straight.
Every team has a different fuel strategy making some cars slower and some faster
