- Hidden in Halo 4's game files and official mod tools are A LOT of vehicles that are cut and unused that you also normally can't drive either. Let's see what those vehicles are like and what it's like to use them!

I really liked the drop pods and other dropships that were new to Halo 4. I also really liked that giant Kraken thing in Halo 5.
That clown drop pod is nightmare inducing somehow.
Fun fact that drop pod was made by Bungie, as in some leaked build of Reach that had space squirrels and stuff, this clown drop pod was present there.
The "Covenant Giant Drop Pod" is also in some old Halo Reach tag builds which is interesting.

@@smokedeuch4039 I was talking about the clown tent looking one. The Covenant Squad Pods which I think you are referring to, also appear on Pillar Of Autumn in Reach aswell

If I recall it got the codename of 'Venom'. Perhaps its turret can be instantiated with a belt-fed Fuel Rod gun, with slightly deeper-pitched Ghost sounds?
I'm pretty sure you were meant to use the Mammoth's gun at some point, because in my Halo 4 on the 360, if i get to the control panel before Lasky, I get a prompt to control the Mammoth's gun. It doesn't work of course, but it does make me wonder why they removed it. It's pretty clear it was a last minute modification, as there's the full hud and the prompt I just mentioned. Kind of disappointing, really

Werent you able to use it though? On my xbox 360 I remember this HUD and that you had to use it to make the Mammoth destroy the forerunner turret. I played it ages ago so Im not sure though if I remember correctly.
@@canyongoat2096 holy shit, actually you might be right... I haven't played in years either, so to me this is either true, or it is simply the Mandela effect. I'll watch a video of the mission
@@canyongoat2096 alright, so it seems that it's just the Mandela effect. I just watched it and for all cannon shots, you use the laser target designator
@@obamnaprismus Oh yeah then it's the Mandela effect. Then probably at that part of the level, they planned for us to use the Mammoth's gun personally instead of with the help of the target designator.
To answer your question on the Storm Burst Artillery, the Storm Burst Artillery isn't used in Campaign, it's used in Spartan Ops, I believe it's in chapter 8 or 9 (It's been a long time since I played Spartan Ops).

With all the missiles I'm curious if 343 were trying to add a predator missile to Multiplayer, we all remember they were copying CoD pretty hard at the time.

The storm burst artillery is not in campaign. It does appear on one Spartan ops mission.

I think Lord Zedd made a video on making the Mammoth drivable, as well as making the gun functional, but I dunno if it's still up.
Edit: it's still up, and making the gun functional adds in some HUD.
I remember back in 2012 in a PRIMA guide for Halo 4 that Frankie O'Conner outright apologized for not making the Mammoth drivable. Well as we can see, that truly aged well lol.
That one missile hud looks like the missile hud that nukes the gravity well in campaign.
The storm mortal cannon is only used once in a Spartan ops mission that I forgot the name off

Also is the Liche not a vehicle or is it another one that's just difficult to spawn in?
The Lich is just hard to spawn in, before it was added as a prop in forge it was buggy to fucking hell. The vehicle version that moves is finicky to say the least…
The moa statues can now be found in classic Halo CE graphics and Halo 4

That "Revenant" is closer to the Spectre than the Revenant.
The "asteroid gun" or the mac cannon on that mission composer is broken officially in the campaign which is a shame, I used to like watching it shoot at the ships, it doesn't fire anymore.
It works on console, specifically Xbox One and Series S. Tho I’ve heard it doesn’t work properly on other platforms
@The Gravemind yeah that seems odd, I have access to the mod tools on steam and I can spawn it in a map and fire it myself no problem, I can hear it fire in the mission though but you don't see anything like any firing effects.

The driveable guns with HUD kinda makes thing that they could have used in a case where they needed an AI to fire it, cause the script to do it wouldn't/couldn't work
Ive never seen the covenant storm burst mortar.
And the unsc infinity? Particle cannon, cruiser and didact ship?
Because they added the acrophobia skull in halo 4, you can now get out of the level that have the magnetic slingshot and use it. (Composer)
To use it you have to go under it and hold X.
If you dont know how to get out of that level just search for a tutorial on youtube.

How did you spawn these on the Xbox 360 version?
If I'm right he's got a home brew/ Jtagged (modded) 360 and while i'm still experimenting with the tools one of the Halo 4 mod tools mentioned something about xbox 360 neighborhood which is a program that can connect a modded console to your pc to allow game file editing.
At that point you might as well buy a PC. Hacking a 360 is pretty tricky and MCC isnt the most demanding game.

@@staryoshi06 I know that it was before that game I saw videos of it years ago. I'm saying that its more complicated and in many ways limit then PC modding for Halo.
