Do you know how to add a key to a mercedes sl550 2007 (w230) to use the push start on the Shift knob. I can add normal key and works fine with remote but can not get the proximity to work. I tried different key and suppliers with no luck even called autel. Any suggestions. Thank you.
it should be possible but the second hand key must be formatted, emptied, before using it again there is instructions for that if you start googling around "virginise mercedes key" or "format/renew mercedes key"

U need to buy same key versions, only u can do keyless

you used the emulator at the end right? why didn't you just plug it back to its original to the car?
