I know it's too late, but 3 stars means ok/meets expectation, 5 means it's excellent/beyond expectations. Most of these have to be1 or 2 as they don't meet expectations, a handful of then are 3 (meets expectations) at best
Just wanted to let you know that I bit the bullet and got Beam with your link. I'm not going to be able to afford Tobii any time soon, but I have a webcam now. I logged into SC last night... but I never got in a ship. By the time I Delivered all my ships and equipped all the paints and components, I was falling asleep. 🤣
@@GrumpyEyeGaming Will do! On the plus side, ASOP terminals are VLM are much more responsive and after Delivering your ship, you go back to the spot you were on the list instead of back to the top. So nice.
The HUD should be getting an update in either the next patch or 4.0. The new MFDs alongside the HUD and slight HUD control were shown in the latest ISC video alongside the Zeus. The HUD they are going for is less clunky in your face and gives you more visability
@@GrumpyEyeGaming You're right. The sodium in your content is too high and my DR has me on a low sodium diet. This episode tastes pretty good to me though.
I said a couple years ago when it came out that I wish CIG took some ideas on how salvage should work from Ship Breaker. Some of the things there would probably not translate well to SC, but some would work great
Ask them to lay down forming the path of a conveyor like laying down a set of "mines", then use an engineer mini-game to stabylize the cargo through energy levels, more players controlling cargo are needed to make it easy "playthrough mini-game". :) cheers
Yup definitely if they want to make things really tedious better make the rewards waaay worth it. If we are taking a lot of time and effort for a gameplay loop that only gives scraps I better spend my time with something else.
The cargo loop is for the people who considers that effort not a chore but their fun. There is people who likes to chill doing tedious and foreseeable stuff.
@@Haegemon lol dude I am not talking about if people are enjoying that loop or not. Its about giving justified amount of reward for time spent in that gameplay loop. Not all people are like you, having all the time in the world. Most people like me have other things to do like job or family. So yeah they need to respect the limited time most players have by giving proper amount of rewards.
@@ronelicabandi9706As far as I know, players adapt to the games, not the game to specific players. Games sold are what they are, it's you who have to manage your time, and if you don't have the time to spend playing GTA, CitySkylines or whatever that requires time then perhaps you shouldn't play these videogames.
I love the current cargo system. Needing to load and unload all the boxes is a ton of fun and makes hauling less of a boring slog. Imo the payout just needs to be increased
@GrumpyEyeGaming completely disagree. The most fun I've had in this game was shooting down ships and moving the scavenged cargo from the ship floating in an asteroid field to my buddies c2 by hand so we could sell it for profit. This just adds that aspect to the rest of cargo hauling
@@GrumpyEyeGaming it's fun for some kind of players. Truck Simulator is to spend all the time driving, waitting for the green traffic light to a void a fine. Nothing a real driver would spend his time, though.
From all the surveys they put up. They get 1 star across the board. They can't even get basic physics in, yet they're worried about the flight model. They can't properly separate ship sizing, but they're going to keep pumping out ships without any definitions. They're just shoveling trash out as fast as they can, and then asking how good things are. They're not actually solving any problems. They keep stacking on top of it all. If they can't even get basic physics nailed down, then nothing else they do put out, matters at all. AT ALL. They need to fix the basics before they worry about new inventories, or new this or that. Because when you stack tier 0 trash on top of mechanics that aren't even working. You'll never solve the problems cuz ya keep putting more trash on the pile.
21:18 wait what? Ai in an HH was hard? I mean I had 1 guy in my amdromeda, and we soft deathbed an HH with just S1 missles alone. They're not that good at all.
Unfortunately the Hull-C is still crap. It could be so good, but as usual this is one game loop that has been very poorly implemented. I tried it recently and lost millions to bugs and glitches. It's probably the most stressful thing to do in the game because you're risking like a million aUEC every time, and it's not that you get attacked, it's that the cargo loading process only works when it feels like it. They often don't load all your cargo you just bought or don't respond at all. One time I got stuck on the docking arm - sideways - and had to log off in order to get the ship back. Then the RCS Thrusters are greatly underpowered when the ship is fully loaded with cargo - one time I lost 1 million aUEC in cargo due to falling into Hurston. Sounds ridiculous, I know. I was trying to get to Everus Harbor but when I quantum'd to Hurston I started falling into the planet and didn't realize or notice because it was pitch black dark, and I was having to redo the quantum course on the map because that bugged out and had lost my destination. By the time I took care of that and I realized I was falling - fast - it was too late, and it didn't matter what I did, I could not stop it from falling into the planet, and it didn't even have the power to rotate and steer towards a quantum target, so there was no escape and I hit the planet and lost all my cargo. So yeah... this is the Hull-C - the supposed king of cargo ships in their dedicated Cargo patch... what a joke. Do not bother with the Hull-C! How they have the balls to put it up for sale again for $500 I just do not know. It's shameful. If I'd just paid cash for that or even if I'd ground the 16.5 million aUEC for it in-game, I would be severely disappointed and feel conned. Also it looks like a giant pen!s. Which is apt because when you buy it you feel like you just got f***ed.
I love all the people complaining about the cargo handling. Y'all need to play a game called "Sailwind" and see what THAT game is like with loading its cargo.
It's all fun and game until you figure out hauling missions have their own SCUs per destination. Hoover trolleys coming soon so you can stack the boxes on different trolleys for each delivery location.
Thank you to @Camural for sorting them all out

CIG are the kings of Future fake
No one flies the Reclaimers anymore because the nerfed the construction materials. Now there is no point in flying in.
There should be a Survey about the Marketing Team... I'd be curious to see what the backers would have to tell CIG about it ;)
Ho yes please CIG, ask us what we think of you! Please ask!
Well, they do great in their department. Marketing can sell a full game without a game.

There are so many things not working that listing them makes us sound like doomsayers. Sh*t’s just that broken
I don't mind the length of time it takes to do things, I mind that the payout isn't proportional
Spot on.
Ah well 2025 soon and CR can use his "get out of jail free card" (investors VERY late to the party)
I like my ill gotten gains, looking into space and imagine one day Star Citizen will be my second job, yeah in VR. Lol
Yeah btw panel salvaging has been nerfed of course
