Hello! Many thanks. I watched 4 worthless vids before I found yours. Yours is great!
thanks for the vid. I just completed an ipad screen replacement
great ,well explained video for these, helped me immensely this morning, big thanks!
+Mark Cob Glad it helped!
Hi great videos . You mention the 5mm 3m rubberized adhesive tape your using .What thickness is the tape you recommend ? 1mm , 0.5 mm ?
Thinner is better. its hard to tell the difference between the two but I always choose the thinner.
I replaced mine and everything went great !! Thanks to ur videos but when I turn it on I get a light on but nothing displays ?? I probably messed something up ? Any suggestions?
+Allissa Shoultz sounds like the lcd cable isn't fully in the connector.
Where can I get the adhesive tape on the home button ?
I need to know what model number this ipad is you are working on. I seem to be ordering parts for a different ipad 2. My motherboard looks like yours but i order parts for the power cable version. Im so confused.
I've got an issue, those 2 gold contact pins connected to the cable. One of those broke off, and I dunno what to do. Please help
Nice video... Where you got the screw driver?
Thanks.

What tools are needed to replace an ipad 2 home button?
There has to be a boat load of finger prints on the back side of the glass...
JrFreak300 You might think....But only touched the black bezel so nope.
Sure looks like it at 10:00 in the video.
JrFreak300 At that point it sill had the film over the back of the digitizer. if you look to the right of the home button you will see the tab to remove the film.Visible at 10:54.
oh ok... cool
