dude I deeply appreciate you not doing any post processing. hearing what it is capable of is great but I always want to hear the amp or device as it was made, not with all types of setups and configurations. I appreciate it man thank you.
why the hell wouldn't you try the most AWESOME feature of this pedal and the thing that sets it apart from the competition on its price by far : THAT YOU CAN USE THIRD PARTY IR´S...
Thanks for : 1) leveling the patches, they should come like that, none of the designers get that. 2) Not playing 3 min on each setting, moving right along, perfect.
I own one and it is the multi fx/amp modeller on budget. It beats the line 6 pod hd, the old boss sims, zoom g5n etc etc. It may not be particularly for live use, but for simply practice, recording or even small gigs, it is 'the' thing. Yes the axe fx, kemper, line 6 helix/lt etc sound better, but does that mean that the top tier is worth 500€ more for something like 10-20% tone more? In my eyes(student without real income) no. Great work moore, now do us a favour and release the ge 300/400/500 with more switches for live use. And fluff you should have definitely create a custom patch, load in your own Impulse and show what you can get out of it, since the Ir loader is 'the' best feature.
What's great about these sorts of multieffects units is that it gives you a chance to really experiment and find a tone that suits you. I spent years in my early playing with multi effects (Early Early Zoom then Boss GT3) , found what I liked and then when I could afford it, bought the bits needed. Sadly my tastes have changed again, so ned new gear. Great demo and great little pedal!
The sound of your lav mic (which here in England would of course be the "toilet mic" :O) or maybe the cam mic, makes it a little difficult to hear how it really sounds as we're getting lots of string twang direct from the guitar. Can I suggest that you mute it in future, when playing, for a better result?
I have a problem with my Mooer GE200. I connect it to my Mac through the USB, i select the Mooer as the input source, but i don't get any sound our of the internal speakers. Please help
I've just ordered one of these. Isin't there on those presets "option" settingins? I mean, when the third footswitch is blue, if you press it, it should give the option of preset without some modules, or with more?
No.. Set a perfect time in G3xn itself. Mooer is a mild and softened tone processor. Zoom is more powerful. But it depends on the way you set the tone and bring it up
I LOVE my Ge200. Its 100% 300$ new or around 210euro, used. My biggest gripe...wanting more space for IR cabs, an SD card slot for recording my loops and jams(pre and post effects), and I think the input aux line needs a better volume control. Mine is so low I have to set my preset volume to around 30% to be KINDA in the mix of a song im playing with from my phone.
MOOER GE200 wins because for 299$ you can load the IRs and the cabs are practically 50% of the sound. The old generation of Multi-FX have a lot of features (more than this GE200) but their cab sim are NOT as good as IRs
A couple friends at music school have this, it sounds great, but falls apart pretty quickly with regular gigging. If you want one, buy from an authorized dealer with warranty since you likely will need it.
Might just be me, I enjoyed hearing all the patches but the string noise from the guitar makes it harder to determine some of the sounds. I realise that probably would have made it a pain in the arse to edit, mind.

Been seeing great reviews on this one. Mooer is awesome!
For my money, Slate S-gear still sounds like the best of the lot. But amp modeling in general, has gotten more authentic sounding over the last 20 years. In the future we won't need amps or mods at all...we'll just hear the sounds in our head!
I find myself in the unlikely position where I am trying to choose between this and the Boss GX100. Any advice? Is the price difference for the Boss worth it.
You didn't show 3rd parties IR's, Wet/dry signal option (to go straight into PA with the wet signal, while still sending a dry signal to your amp for onstage monitoring). This unit is AWESOME
Now all we need is a FR self-amped, stereo speaker kit that isn't breaking the bank......think 'small stereo combo'. I have a pair of Truth B3031A's that sound effing amazing with my POdHD500X. I'd like something portable to drag to my 'other places' without disassembling what is pretty permanent to go with something like this GE200. Going to try and rig up a cheap 30 W class D amp to a pair of full range car speakers in an MDF box in stereo and see what happens. I'm not into spending $500+ each for powered flat response monitors.
This is just like my zoom g3xn. I sorta hate all the presets. Going into an empty cabinet and building your own sound is fun though. You should do a comparison video!
Do you prefer this or the line 6 hx stomp for an easy travel rig? Planning to run one output to a Duncan power stage 170 to a cab and another output into a direct box to go straight into the house PA. (edit: for metal of course)
good pedal but problem is if i gig on stage how im gonna keep change effects ? you have to do very quick up and down i guess ,i think perfect for practice and play without amp
does this have he capability to replace some pedals on a pedal board? like could i just bypass the patches and use effects on it like a wah delay reverb etc?
HEY RYAN! man a kid starting out playing the guitar today has it really good think about this start up rig 1.CLASSIC VIBE STRAT 2.BOSS KATANA and to really pimp it out and have some thing on the floor for live gigs the MOOER GE200 BOOM! there is nothing that rig won't do and there is really no need to up grade not for a long time anyway.
I feel like a lot of modeling things do that with the delay. They just put a bunch of presets with delay out the ass, but if you shut off the delay, its lots of good tones mostly with WAAAYYYY too much delay.
great demo, perfect for the bedroom /hobbyis ( me ) While adding a wealth of option leading in the direction but, just shy of a serious case of options anxiety. While it functions a processor/ amp modeler speaker cab it can also function as an audio interface,....? is this true I own 2 mini preamps by mooer that I like alot.
Hello brother....how are you!! I got a Mooer ge 200 in my hand just 2 day's back. I am using a black star fly 3 amp with a external 3watt fly 3 cabinet for practice in my room. But i am not satisfy with the sound. Can you please advice me that how can i get some good riff, lead and accoustic tone from mooer ge 200???
Don't own ge 200 but have owned many multi fx pedals and can tell you that they usually only sound good ran into 2 identical amps on the clean channel with eq set in 5 o'clock position using pedals eq to adjust tone, I would suggest a decent set of monitors for bedroom playing, JBL mini for $119ea or kustom kpcmp12 for $99ea at musicians friend when on sale
Really glad the guitar itself thru the vox mic is louder than the processed signal... fluff this is literally why you're losing followers dude. common man step it up
Cellar Studio Productions if you can afford it. Do the helix. I just got mine last week. I was genuinely blown away by how good everything sounded. It also works great with my 6505 plus. Its an amazing piece of gear
Bryce Dahlke Thanks, man! I guess I'll be doing some live gigs in the future ... so the Helix might be pretty cool for that. Otherwise I'll use it for my own music productions... Feel free to check those out ;-) Greetings from Germany
Cellar Studio Productions: They're not really comparable, given the price and the feature differences. :) If you can afford, by all means, go for the Helix. It's a beast. But if you don't have that kind of money, the GE200 seems nice. Personally, I recently got a used POD X3 Live. I was going back and forth between the X3 and the GE200. However, the lack of footswitches made me go for the X3. And I got it cheaper too! :)
Rhitosparsha Baishya I know, but I still wanted to hear some opinions. Thank you! I think I'll go for the Helix Lt. Has less outputs and displays, but otherwise it's the same. And it's around 500-600€ cheaper.
Hard to hear the guitar tones when you can still hear the strings through the room mic.
Ben Helms easy there
thought the same
The man has a point there!
yeah, i mean, the attack is very hard to hear this way and that is especially where quality makes a difference in my experience
Shhhh all the thousands of dollars of equipment and acoustic treatment will here you....
Those tones sound really good. Very impressive for the price. Stock presets actually sound awesome too, which is rare.
dude I deeply appreciate you not doing any post processing. hearing what it is capable of is great but I always want to hear the amp or device as it was made, not with all types of setups and configurations. I appreciate it man thank you.
299 bucks? Very impressive, but can you ... wait, wrong channel!
Benji Schober lol.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm 🤔
why the hell wouldn't you try the most AWESOME feature of this pedal and the thing that sets it apart from the competition on its price by far : THAT YOU CAN USE THIRD PARTY IR´S...

HateCreation agreed dude 👊
I'm kinda outgrowing my PodHD500 and this sounds kinda great. Can you clarify on why it might not be a great live option?
Is this bass friendly?
Because you can only change setings with up and down switches, you can't turn on and off single effects and it doesn't have an FX Loop.
mytt88 it is
9:20-9:35 foo fighters “everlong” tone 99% match❤️
The stock cabs are junk, but the ability to load ir makes up for that

actually i think the rec412 was ok
Hello. How many individual effects can you use at the same time with this pedal?
What's great about these sorts of multieffects units is that it gives you a chance to really experiment and find a tone that suits you. I spent years in my early playing with multi effects (Early Early Zoom then Boss GT3) , found what I liked and then when I could afford it, bought the bits needed. If nothing else the best thing is all the displays are getting better and better,
Loved the video. Only complaint was at times I found it hard to hear the GE200 over the sound of you strumming.
Every time you played on a distortion channel, I expected "Alive" by PJ.
Also, you were able to work in "PRS CUSTOM 22" twice. We get it.
The sound of your lav mic (which here in England would of course be the "toilet mic" :O) or maybe the cam mic, makes it a little difficult to hear how it really sounds as we're getting lots of string twang direct from the guitar. Can I suggest that you mute it in future, when playing, for a better result?
Would love to see a video with some of your tweaked (custom) patches and loading 3rd party IRs.
9:30 That is fucking SPOT ON!! I swear to god that is uncanny.... Unreal man.
Talking about the everlong dark distortion tone, btw.
Impressive for the price! Sounds really cool

In the ‘80’s, we called them ‘Godboxes’, they did everything.
And nowadays, what a time to be a alive & well guitar enthusiast with shit like this! 👍
Hello. I have an zoom g3x totally new. I'm thinking about selling it and buy the mooer ge200 in second hand in very good condition. Is it worth it.??.
No.. Set a perfect time in G3xn itself. Mooer is a mild and softened tone processor. Zoom is more powerful. But it depends on the way you set the tone and bring it up

How do you turn the Looper and drum machine off at the same time......
I know this was published almost two years ago. Does the GE200 still hold its own compared to some of the newer amp modelers out there?
Thanks Fluff. Another reviewer thought the same product had noticeable latency. Did you notice anything of that sort?
You didn't show 3rd parties IR's, Wet/dry signal option (to go straight into PA with the wet signal, while still sending a dry signal to your amp for onstage monitoring). This unit is AWESOME

Does the GE200 have that split second of silence when switching between presets? A lot of multi FX units have this and it's super annoying,

Does anyone know if you can go straight out of this into the board?
does this have he capability to replace some pedals on a pedal board? like could i just bypass the patches and use effects on it like a wah delay reverb etc?
I like the size. I can fit it with other pedals if I wish. Like a precision drive, my whammy, a d a wireless without hauling a huge pedalboard
Can this compete with the Spider II amp?
Hey fluff can you do the 4 cable method with this? Thanks

Hey Fluff! Would you be willing to share the recorded sound of the guitar? I am really interested in how the attack sounds of this modeler!
I'd love to hear how this compares to the Preamp Live.

I feel like a lot of modeling things do that with the delay. They just put a bunch of presets with delay out the ass, but if you shut off the delay, its lots of good tones mostly with WAAAYYYY too much delay.

Nice review of the stock presets.
However is the boss gt1 better or the mooer ge200?
Still using my Digitech GSP1101, 10 plus year old unit that you can upload your own impulses.

$299 for 200 fizzy unusable presets.. And everybody is so stoked that it supports IR's..
