I know this is an old video, but for anyone who this would help, if you go to your ProgramData folder in your C drive, there should be a folder called "UTAU Plugin" with a file called engine.ini inside another folder where you can edit which resamplers to choose from! Some combinations don't work depending on what you have your Tool1 & Tool2 set as in your project settings, tho I found it really helpful to be able to customize it!

most of resamplers support sampling rate 44.1kHz, and monaural wav file. for example, fresamp does not support 48kHz wav files.
also, extra chunk data should not be included in wav.
some voicebanks have the above problems.

1. run 'resampler_setup.exe' in the zip.
2. create a folder in UTAU, named as 'engine selector', and copy engine_selector_plugin.exe and plugin.txt into it
Wow, this is interesting! This will be great for people like me, who need something like TIPS.exe for lower notes, but like to use resampler for everything else. xD
It doesn't seem to work...I've patched the resamplers, I open UTAU, select the notes I want, run the plugin and select the resampler, press play, and....Whatever resampler I've selected in "Tool 2" is what is used.

@HiyruuAzuretiem the installer/patcher works with any language locale. but I hear some resamplers work only with Japanese locale. I'm sorry but I don't know details :/
@SakuxZaku95 i heard bkh01 and EFB-GW sometimes fail to create wav, but i haven't heard TIPS...
I don't know if you figured it out or not yet, but I did and thought I would help... You have to put the 'engine selector' file in a plugins file. So it'll be UTAU/plugins/engine selector. Then go UTAU and it should show up in your plugings menu. If not, press the reload button.
@SakuxZaku95 uhm... then let's check if resamplers are installed correctly.
please change 'tool 1' setting of the project into bkh01.exe or tips.exe or something.
if it sounds well, it means each resampler is installed correctly.

then copy the dll in the zip file to the same folder as EFB-GW/w4u
Do you recommend going to the Japanese Locale to install this or is the patcher/wrapper unicode?
It keeps giving me a 'failed to run the resampler' error whenever I use the plugin. It's a really nifty idea, though, and I shall try and figure out how to work it.

what resampler did you use? and what error message appeared?

I downloaded TIPS but, for some odd reason, all my UTAUs work good with them exept one. It "stretches" and deepens the sounds...can you help me?

It can't read bkh01 and w4u for some reason.
Some utaus are just like that and don't work with resamplers for some reason :L
This would be great if my utau would read flags :/ you seem pretty knowledgeable about utau stuff, (sorry I would've sent this in a pm if I could frickin figure out how) do you know how to fix utau 4 on Windows 8 when it doesn't read flags? The only one it will read are g flags, none of the others, not even the flags of this plug in
i have used windows 8 and am using 8.1 now, but every flag works with no problem. so i think your problem is caused by something other than windows 8 :/
