Which would you prefer? An over crowded, dangerous destination like Tail of the Dragon, or wide open roads with 10x's the amount of curves, miles and historic road side attractions? (Yeah... I know your answer!) Ohio's Windy 9 is an INCREDIBLE destination for any and all adventure seekers! Check out the routes for yourself and start planning your motorcycling getaway by visiting their website here: bit.ly/3VmvOkw
Great video Jess, wide open roads for me and I will definitely add the Windy 9 on my next road trip down south. Many thanks for showing us what Ohio has to offer for beautiful road trips.
This video was awesome! Just sent it to a friend who loves to take the long way between point A and B and he lives in Ohio. Not a two wheels guy, but loves scenic rides in his Vette. Your videos are awesome!!!
Thank you for the great tour. I rode to Ohio 2 years ago from Virginia Beach, VA. I used Zanesville as my base. I visited the AMA Motorcycle Museum and rode to Dresden to lay a cross on the grave of a co-worker who died in the Iraq War. I also got to ride the 555 and back roads up to Cleveland. I'll always remember and cherish that trip because it was my first long distance ride and was my tribute to my loss co-worker.❤💙
TBH, I was like, “A Mortuary Museum?!” When I walked inside I was BLOWN away! Everything was sooooo beautiful and tastefully displayed. Bill was a wealth of knowledge and really taught me so many interesting things I never knew. 10/10 recommend!
this was a great video I've road the triple nickel and rim of the world and you really captured them after watching this i want to go ride them again great job much respect from adams county
I ride the Triple Nickle often; I live in Canton and like to ride on the south east side of Ohio a lot. There are so many great roads there, and the scenery is fantastic.
Thanks Jess! My husband and I have ridden the Windy 9 twice. Did mostly riding and not exploring. Next time we get back there we will have to check out some of those places you featured. Great video.
Excellent production, Jess. And the Windy 9 is custom made for either a day trip or a long weekend. I surely hope a thousand or two of your viewers take advantage of your work!
Jess, that was one of the most informative and entertaining videos you have done. I love how you showcase our great state of Ohio. Well done. By the way, I ordered the map. Give my best to Jordon and have a lovely week.
this was fun. I am not familiar with Ohio but will be traveling from Connecticut to Ohio this summer. I enjoy most of your videos, loved the early days when you just rode to coffee. The evolution of your channel has been cool. This was an exceptional video. I also like videos when you go tent camping. Peace to you and Jordan from a motorcycle fan in Connecticut.
Gotta say this is one of your most fun videos to watch of recent times. As someone who is unlikely to ever get over to the USA I love seeing the world through travellers eyes. Keep it shiny side up!
Many have said this already, but this is your best video to date. This is what I am interested in. Everyone does bike reviews, and bike meets (can't stand them. To many people) You did an amazing job letting us see the sites, people, and stories of what makes small towns what they are. This is why we ride. We have rode every state and province in North America, and we are always looking for new places to see. Keep this up, and I'm sure you will grab lots of attention. As well as help with tourism to small towns. Can't say great job and thank you enough. Cheers for Jim and Erin Kingston, Ontario.
Jess this has got to be the best video you’ve put out to date. You can tell how much you were thoroughly enjoying yourself on this trip in your backyard. And not to mention all the love and care you put into the editing for this video. Keep it up!!!
Jess, this is just great storytelling and information sharing. IMHO, your best video to date. Not to draw comparison (because I'm hopeful you two are at least friendly with each other) but this felt a *lot* like one of Stacis videos (which is a good thing!)
hey Jess this was I think one of your best vids to date I cant tell you enough how much I have injoyed this vid. Please keep up the great work. YOU GO GIRL!
Oh how I enjoyed this one! The touristic attractions, the places, stories, roads, and the way you presented them through every shot and voiceover... beautiful. You evolved so much in the way you do these videos! Thank you and do more! Ride safe!
I loved this Jess! Well done. I remember the Silver Bridge collapse. A footnote to the story, until then, Ohio and West Virginia argued for decades about exactly where the state line should be. Then the state line was the north shoreline and we Buckeyes wanted it to be in the middle of the river. After the bridge went down, Ohio never again argued about it. That West Virginia should build and operate its own bridges was perfectly ok with the legislators in Columbus. Sad, but true.
Great video Jess! Thanks for sharing a little bit about our small part of the world down here in SE Ohio. The Hocking Hills and Athens offer some amazing roads and views. Ride wild, but do it carefully ✌🏻
As someone who isn’t native to Ohio, I’ve 100% used your videos for ride inspiration. This video was great! A couple of great destinations added to the notes on my phone! I recently rode down to Ironton - Eridanus Brewing - the brewery used to be a small train station.
Well done Jess. I thoroughly enjoyed every foot of this one! One of the best you have done. Please keep this type of videos flowing. thanks for sharing this with all of us.
The Travel Channel could just pay you and put this episode straight onto their lineup it's that good! It's got everything: on the road shots, drone shots, great interesting interviews (basket case! who knew??), historic facts sprinkled with good eats and drinks, a hilarious Dirty Girl Coffee moment, and the most important thing - an enthusiastic host to tie it all together and make you want to visit. Big kudos!!
After watching this video, I am happy with the different format you have taken on. The drone videos are a plus! How do you take selfies of you riding? or walking around? Keep up the good work. Nice change Jess.
That was dope. I never knew about the Windy 9. My best friend lives in Ohio so I may need to take a ride out there and give it a try! Thanks for sharing!
Have seen many of your videos and this is at the top of the list!! So many fun, interesting facts!! Keep up the good work and stay safe in your travels.
I was on the Triple Nickel in early May. All the way from the Ohio River to Lancaster. Hope you had a chance to dine at The Galley in Marietta. A truly great place for a fantastic meal. We had to be there about the same time. Definitely would have been stunned to see you there.
Jess, this is a great video, I spent many years of my early childhood in Logan, Lowell, and Marietta! also in Pensboro, WV pre school years. I was 11 years old living in Reno I believe when the bridge collapsed. At that time my father had o e of the very first factory pontoons and very large capacity, my father helped carry equipment into the river to help recover many victims and some vehicles. We had several friends and acquaintances lost their lives in the collapsed. My dad crossed it daily. Listening to you read the plaque gave some serious chill bumps. I have not been back to Ohio since I was in 7th grade. Mainly just life happens, I'm 68 now!! I do have many great childhood memories of learning to swim in the Muskingom river, and camping at BurOak. The rolling hills of SE OHIO are amazing YEAR ROUND. Thank you for sharing this! good stuff❤
WOW Jess, That was a great tour of the windy nine. I've been down there a couple times and you definitely need to spend a few days to see everything. Thanks for sharing! Prayers Flying for safe travels
That is a nice relaxing ride, Jess. Sadly none of the roads around the Athens area are all that windy. Ride on out SR78 east to Woodsfield. Then take SR800 North to New Philadelphia. There are some open enjoyable and technical sections along that route.

Our HOG Chapter just got back from a week long trip to Ohio's WIndy9 from WI. Really enjoyed the area and the roads. You really brought up even more things to go and see. Can't wait to go back again! Thanks for sharing!
I grew up in Morgan County. You skirted the area, visiting Chesterhill and Stockport, but I was hoping to see some of the familiar sights of McConnelsville. The rich Civil War history, working locks, old grain mills, and much much more! You gained another subscriber today. I didn’t think much of small town Ohio when I was younger, it didn’t seem like it had much to offer. But you have shown me another side of SE Ohio through this video. How did I miss it all of those years when it was right in front of me! Thank you for sharing my childhood playground to all of these viewers!!!!
Hence why I keep telling people, “you NEED to spend multiple days riding!” 😅😅😅 there is sooooo much amazing history and places to visit in the area! Three days wasn’t enough.

I third this, and I’ve been watching since the beginning of this channel.
This video was awesome! Just sent it to a friend who loves to take the long way between point A and B and he lives in Ohio. Not a two wheels guy, but loves scenic rides in his Vette. Your videos are awesome!!!
Straight up, one of the best videos that you've made. Keep up the awesome work!

As a rider and someone who works in a funeral home, I LOVED the museum! Thank you for showing that!

@HerTwoWheels getting a oil change on my old 96 electra glide classic tomorrow. Debating on doing the 555 or the upper peninsula in michigan.
@@HerTwoWheels have you rode through Wayne National Forest?
Jess, you did a SUPERB job of this video. Definitely your niche! I live in Marietta. Would like to buy you an iced coffee when you are in the area.

Yes! I hit the Triple Nickel, Rim of the World, Hocking Hills Nipper, and the Zaleski Zipper this week…what a great time!
Good choice for a place to go. I've ridden these roads and loved them. Highly overlooked. Good you brought this to the attention of the riding world.
Wow! Your videos are always well put together. But this one tops them all. Gives a Samantha Brown/Rick Steves vibe with the benefit of motorcycles.

That was dope. I never knew about the Windy 9. My best friend lives in Ohio so I may need to take a ride out there and give it a try! Thanks for sharing!
Totally worth it. The triple nickel is like a tail of the dragon with a fraction of the traffic.
Absolutely! Give yourself a couple days!
This was a great concept. Do more of these.👍🏾
I’ll try! It was literally months worth of work 😂
This has been my favorite video so far. Presentation was done very well. Keep it up!

It feels like you've gotten your inspiration back. The last few videos have been so good.
Outstanding, one of the best motorcycle videos on UA-cam.
Wow, thanks!

Loved the video!!
As an Ohioan thank you!
I absolutely loved this video from start to finish! Added this to my must to trips at some point, the roads, scenery and towns look beautiful.
Awesome!!!
What an awesome video. This area has been on my list for a few years now. Thank you for sharing roads in your backyard.
Glad you enjoyed it!
WOW Jess, That was a great tour of the windy nine. I've been down there a couple times and you definitely need to spend a few days to see everything. Thanks for sharing! Prayers Flying for safe travels
Definitely!
That is a nice relaxing ride, Jess. Sadly none of the roads around the Athens area are all that windy. Ride on out SR78 east to Woodsfield. Then take SR800 North to New Philadelphia. There are some open enjoyable and technical sections along that route.
Most of the routes are anywhere from 40-100ish miles long. They really need a couple days to ride to enjoy and do them justice.

That sounds like a perfect Father’s Day treat!
Jess! This video was next level! You did a great job capturing the history and awesomeness of the area.
Thanks so much!!
I went to the Mothman Museum last year! Started near Dayton, hit Hillsboro where there is a giant horseshoe crab, then took Ohio 124 to Jackson to get that Appalachian feel, then hopped on the highway to Point Pleasant! Was a good little trip when I was in the Scout Bobber.
Giant horseshoe crab?! 😱
@@HerTwoWheels yep! Made out of fiberglass!
You are so close to Hillbilly Hotdogs. It's a must see.
I have STILL never been!
Really enjoyed this video. It's nice to learn about different places and their history. The Mortuary Museum tour was fascinating. Enjoyed all of the interviews. I'll take riding those kinds of roads any day of the week. Keep up the good work!
Great video never realized so much history in Ohio
Best video by far. More like this.
I hope to be able to do more!
Absolutely love this, thanks for sharing Jess!
This is one of my favorite videos of yours. Love the trip, needs slightly more road in it. Thank you for what you do. ❤
