Nice review Rebecca, of a great car, which offers good value with beautiful styling. I bought the HDi Blue 2.0L exec+ spec and have been driving it for 3 months now and I am absolutely delighted with my purchase and service from my dealer.
Carbuyer Car reviews are the best. I am subscribed to so many car channels, but the car buyer videos take a good look at the interior and the practicality. Could be a little bit longer though
funny she says the 3rd row is cramped, moves to the 2nd row and moves the chair to the front and still have a lot of leg space, very professional. also the turning circle demonstration was remarkable. in a 4 lane street and continue in the same direction as she was going. YEAH TIGHT TURNING CIRCLE BECKY!! O_o NOW LET A GUY SHOW ME HOW A CAR WORKS!!
I rented a C4 Picasso once for weekend trip, it was actually quite good for such a car and IMO it also looks quite good for an MPV - like the shorter version better though.
I would recommend the auto-gearbox (except the one with the 1.6 e-HDI 115, which you have to try before buying) because the gear-lever is move from the center to the steering wheel and the central compartment is larger and removable. And the cup-older are better ;)
I've just come from owning a xsara Picasso for the past ten years....wanted a seven seater..test drove this at main dealer & bought it on the spot two days ago. Could not believe the improved turning circle/acceleration etc.....& that's going from the old 2 ltr hdi to a 1.6 e-hdi. & it feels like you're driving a small car. I will still come back here to re-review.....she has a sexy voice...and the rest...xxx oops...the wife...bye.
These are much better than VW Touran, loads of space and all seats go flat, when u buy an MPV u want space not worrying about the heat settings or coffe cups.!!!
@@juha2031 The car will look after you just the way you look after the car. They won't fall apart and won't have more electrical problems than a Vauxhall..
Just beware that the floor storage is a safety issue if you have a rearwardfacing childseat where the support leg rests on the lid. Citroen does not offer a filler like VW and Ford to make it safe. I had to go to the hardware store to buy a block of EPS to fill it. (Recommended by BeSafe)
Over 70mpg ? Maybe round the 50mpg mark. They are nice cars is there room for a spare tyre in or under the boot. The previous Grand Picasso bounced about to much in town and round corners.Hope the new model has inproved.Keep the dashboard simple please.
Great review. This is on our shortlist for our next car. We owned a 5 seat C4 picasso in 2010. Lovely car to drive. Currently have a Ford Kuga AWD 180 (tow car) now sold our touring caravan and bought a static so as our dog fills the boot of the kuga, not towing a caravan anymore leaves no room to put anything!!! Looked at S Max but bit too expensive and not so efficient as the Citroen. Other contender is the BMW gran tourer but for space and fuel efficiency given today's fuel prices, the Citroen wins I think...definitely the Flair model but can't decide now between the 1.6hdi or 2.0hdi and manual or Auto...aaagghh
Mine is semiauto 1.6litres. Drives well, economical and of course, spacious. Test drive on cold engine, older ones are a bit jerky when cold but I think that part of the technology to reduce fuel consumption. The Space tourers as they are now called may not have that problem. Bought used 3 years ago 55k miles, about 40k miles added and nothing broken. Never changed break pads yet, changed battery and AC top up last year. That's about all. Overall a great car, after 10 years still stands out in beauty. Plus, this has saved us tons of money on haulage.
Don't get me wrong I love Citroén but I just wish they didn't share the same infotainment system with Peugeot as I believe they could create a much more intuitive and easier to use system, as the system in our Peugeot 308 is clunky and crashes a lot

We review cars for individuals as well as our dedicated UA-cam subscribers - so we have to compare cars for people with no prior knowledge of the subject. Sorry if we end up repeating something you already know!
Carbuyer i understand that but for someone that watched a lot of your reviews it starts to be repetitive, we are like trying to guess when you guys will put the word ford in the video...
okay... I tried this "not very intuitive" menu in person... and I have to say that I'm seriously staring to doubt the intelligence of car testers, that have a "problem" understanding it... cause the thing is dead simple, with almost no sub-menues! the mid equipment Picasso I tried had a 7 section system, controlable by next to display buttons while individual sections had, if I remember correctly, max 1 (one) sub menu! so... if Rebecca wants to "adjust the heating", all she has to do is: press the button with fan icon drawn on it and... -she can adjust! cause display instantly "jumps" to climate control screen... if THAT is "complicated" or "non intuitive", than I fear how she manages tie her shoe laces each morning or how she manages to find the way home each evening.... the whole thing is far less complicated than "overall&ubermensh" MMI I had in my ex A4... though I agree, using manual "hardware" controls is easier (if there's not too many of them close together)! but in comparison with similar ("touch" or "giant round button") systems, this one is DEAD EASY to understand and control!
Citroen make nice looking cars but performance and engine and overall reliability is a zero the amount of problems that can occur are just too much and thats coming from a owner of one and that too the new one. Probably will sell it soon but you been warned. The auto stop start is a big flaw car just stops by itself and doesn't turn on plus gearbox is a huge issue and ongoing problems. Don't buy citroen.
i got one got it in 4/3/14 i had it for 3 days then it just cut out when i was doing 50 mph on the motorway citroen had it for 7 day i had it back for 2 day and it did it again citroen had the car for 4 day when i got it back i when to ford and got a s max will never get citroen again so if you looking for a mpv DONT GET CITROEN
The design of having the rear lights/reflectors go up with the boot is just stupid, if you are parked on the side of the road with the boot open for some reason, lets say you are changing a tyre, no one will see you if its dark. Sure, you have the small ones on the bumpers, but thats not enough.
Hate probably the most stylish, practical, best handling and overall best car in it's class? Excuse me? Also, this car is far from boring. I would like to own one, even though I don't have a family because it just looks fantastic! Also drives alright even with the 115 ETG-6 Blue HDi diesel combo! The 1.6 PSA diesels are also bulletproof and efficient. Citroen really pulled it off by making a car that stands out, is comfortable, and is good in the second row of seats for someone who's 6 feet tall like me. Far from boring, and in my opinion, that's the position of the VW Touareg because that car is as interesting as a puece of paper. Just drive and compare it to it's main rivals, and then make up your mind about it...
you do talk a load off rubbish some times Rebecca if you had moved the second row off seats forward like you did when you moved forward from the back you would have had loads of room in the back silly girl where is mat
Citroen are back on the ball with the styling these days.
Yeah 2000s looked pretty crappy

Hugh Gabriel I just watched a few video from Alex on autos, didn't know him before. thanks :D

I like them!
I rented a C4 Picasso once for weekend trip, it was actually quite good for such a car and IMO it also looks quite good for an MPV - like the shorter version better though.
The deal breaker for me is a centrally mounted instrument cluster. I've never understood the reasoning behind them and I hate driving with it.
I would recommend the auto-gearbox (except the one with the 1.6 e-HDI 115, which you have to try before buying) because the gear-lever is move from the center to the steering wheel and the central compartment is larger and removable. And the cup-older are better ;)
Very good reviews! Fun though how their video's are always like : good points first, then some bad points, but always end with some good things! ;)
I have two words to describe the Grand C4 Picasso now known as the C4 SpaceTourer, stylish and practical.
Good looks??? Come again?
Rebecca is funny and spontaneous ! love her
i wish they had these cars in the US.

I very like it :)
Car of the year 2014 for me!
do you think this car would Be able to accommodate 7 people who are all around 6 foot, will there be enough leg room?
No I wouldn't think so but you could try a Ford Galaxy, Seat Alhambra or VW Sharan
I have done that with my Grand C4 but to be fair to the rear most passengers let them out often or just short journeys
i'm 1m80 and tried the Dacia Lodgy third row seats and i fitted in Fine! This picasso seems smaller ...
Those back seats look like a deathtrap
I would never buy it just for that damn touch screan control...

any latest review for the C4 grand picasso?
Don't argue. Rebecca is always right.
What *cretan* designed the coffee cup holders?
Bring this car to America
the1412 think about it u have stuff like the honda oddesy and Citroen have no infrastructure in Us
Hi is the cargo Space as big as in the vw touran?
Stian Jorge Jarnæss bigger
Would it be possible for a family of 6 to have one of the third row seats and the other third row seat down for more space in the back for luggage?
Will you please make a video on mitsubishi grandis ?! Thx
