I'm just about to trade my 2012 Touran 1.6SE DSG with 73,000miles on the clock for a 2017 1.7cdi DCT Carens with 46,000 miles. I've had the Touran for two years and it is absolutely the most troublesome and unreliable car I've ever owned. It spent more time in the garage than on my drive. Here's the list; water-pump, EGR Valve, ABS pump and finally gearbox. Apparently mine was the DQ200, apparently notoriously failure prone if not serviced every 40,000 miles, but mine had been and it still packed up. With repairs running at £5000 in two years (half of what I paid for the car) It had to go. I'll miss the elevated seat position, but that's all. I definitely won't miss waiting for yet another orange light to come on in the dash. My day to day runabout is a diesel C3 - 83,000 miles and it never goes wrong. I chose Kia over Citroen because of the warranty. Peace of mind!

It is completely normal on a dry clutch gearbox to change the clutches every now and again, this happens on all dct dry. Car companies prefer them over a torque converter because they are cheaper to make and have lower C02 emissions. On more powerful engines 250nm+ dct gearboxes have wet clutches which are very reliable but a bit overkill on a 1.6L engine. I don't see why it's the end of the world to change the clutches which are not expensive every now and again, it makes up for the fuel consumption.

Just love the cruising of the Touran. I would not trade it for anything else. Kudos. The fact that I can also attend to my calls through Bluetooth helps on long drives. The seats are comfortable, great fuel consumption and peformance. Yeah! Great family car. Ranking has no effect on me rather the utility of the vehicle. I love the length, the space and the running.
You know the Picasso is not bad at all. The Touran is very cool because it has more space and very wide. The Kia carens is little bit very good but the caren boot is so small it's also new
Great review really informative info thanks Matt, i have chosen the C4 Picasso got a bargain 2015 with 12,000 miles ex mobility with 2 years Citreon dealership warranty remaining on it plus 2 years added warranty cover from the car sales i bought it from so 4 years warranty cover and its the 1.6 diesel exclusive model 120bhp all for £12,000 for a car that cost £32,000 12 months ago lol the Touran was more expensive tbh,
I own the a 2008 vw touran 1.9 tdi 6 speed manual 369000km and a 2007 Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 2.0 petrol 6 speed Automatic 225000km. The touran has been ti the mechanics shop 4 times already in the past 4 months. It's there now because the engine turns off while driving at anytime and cranks but wont start for 30 seconds. Picasso rides smoother, more reliable, more luxurious with the glass, more features and better radio, feels kind of like a lexus compared to the Volkswagen. 🎉
I like how he pretends the Citroens seats are hard to use when is has in fact one of the easiest systems on the market. I know because I have used many of them. The review is biased towards the VW because of the badge and because it is new, the Citroen offers the most for a family, and also you need to consider that price is more of a large factor for families, who wants to fork out more than£22,000 for a boring touran?
The annoying thing about the Citroen's seats are all the little carpet flaps you have to move about. It's still a great car though and one of the best-value 7 seaters you can get. Also you can get great C4 Grand Picasso deals on carwow - should you wish.
+carwow I agree it is a bit fiddly / the whole car is very er...French. Having said that like for like spec with a Touran and looking for a discount you'll be paying a lot less for the Picasso. That design is deal sealer too. Both great cars but I prefer a bit of character.
then my friend, you didnt understand the concept of those carpets, same as the narrator. You dont have to, you CAN!!! Try that with the VW, you get flat ground in C4 Picasso, while you get bumpy ground full of holes in VW. Yes, you can just fold those seats of Picasso and get similar outcome as with VW.
Madigor FKGoogle - exactly!! Citroen Picasso covers all the gaps. However, I do have to agree on the pulling straps...quite irritating and takes some getting used to.
Nice review, felt you were way too harsh on the VW's styling and the Picasso was just odd for being odds sake and I thought it was the Kia that was the dullest. Still it's just one own opinion so..

Very entertaining and quite informative. I can't see the point of criticising the lack of luggage space with all 7 seats up. If you need that, then get the full size MPVs. These are very good but large and expensive. The mid size MPVs are a very decent compromise.
I have driven every Touran and own two. Absolutely amazing cars. They're heavy but they haul ass like a sumo wrestler. Fit all your family and friends plus two dogs. The DOHC 1.6Tdi is great for A roads, the SOHC 1.9-2.0Tdis are great for motorways. Get the sports package, the alloys look great and it's nice to have good brakes.
The Carens being the oldest is quite normal to be lacking in certain aspects. It is no surprise the Touran wins hands down because it is a brand new model based on a new platform.
Love your videos. However, would completely disagree with your opinion about the looks of the Touran. Personally I think that one looks far smarter than the other two. Guess it just boils down to individual taste. Thanks for sharing these great videos.
I have a Grand Picaso and i find the touchscreen perfectly fine- it just takes a bit of getting used to. Defitintly better than the Touran. Plus the seating situation on the Citroen is fine- ur just impatient- rly not that big of a deal

Love how the Germans spend time on what matters, engineering. The better engine, driving feel, overall quality, interior space, and ease-of-use (look at how easy to fold down all seats!). Sure it looks dated already but it's where my money would go.
Better engines? By faking emissions tests? Driving feel? Ford and French manufacturers are better on that side. Overall quality? Yes, apart from soft-touch plastics, a Toyota is way better mechanically, on the hidden things that the user can't see. Ease-of-use? You never tried to use BMW or Mercedes infotainement. Your money goes into the badge and the uber-marketing.
+pxidr- you think the german cars have higher overall quality but not so about their engines??? My research shows the opposite. You said something about the plastic in German cars being better. My old 2000 Toyota solara SLE V6 was comparable to BMW 525i AS FAR AS FIT N FINISH and leather/wood quality but 525i had a higher performance engine. YES, the Germans make Good engine and have attractive exterior styling. Up until recently, the only BMW that came standard with real wood/leather was the 6 and 7 series. I have a book that tells all the standard/optional equipment on all cars for 2006 and the 3 and 5 series had vinyl upholstery listed as standard but real wood/ leather was optional until you got the higher level 550i and premium pkg on 3s. The only leather on a standard 3 series was the steering wheel. I also found that the leather/wood on my solara aged better then the 06 3 and 5 series I tested. Even the wood/leather on the 745i I tested aged poorly except for the one I found that had the optional upgraded wood/leather pkg. I agree when you said it has a lot to do with the badge.
I've owned both the Kia and the VW in this test. Had the Kia Carens, and drowed it för about 100000 km. Not one single problem with, wonderful car in the long run, despite boring to drive. The Touran is nicer to drive, but absolutely horrible quality. No problem with engine or DSG gearbox, after 130000 km, but the detail quality is a joke. Also many problems with many things in the electrical system. I cant list all the problems I had with it, but if you want details, ask me. The practicality with the cars are very, very similar. The VW is a bit bigger in the booth, but not as much as Matt implies. Now I am back to Kia again, this time Optima PHEV. Never VW again, I would pay way more for a Kia than a VW, but ironacally they are cheaper.
@@lorenzofortunati Sure here are some of the problems that I had with the VW Touran: Problems with the glass sunroof that did not close completely, and sometimes rainwater would come in the car because of that. Problems with a lot of the sensors, like front assist not working, problems with the electrical handbrake. Both rear brake lights holders completely burnt out. Airbags sensors, some times showing they where out of order and 5 minutes later no problem, on and off. Problematic to close that hatch on the control panel, once opened, really hard to close had to use tape to keep it down. Glove compartment door fell off one day. Otherwise a nice car to drive. But with the Kia, not one single problem! The thing with motor journalists is that they only drive the car for maybe an hour or a weekend, so they never know how it's like to live with the car. And what you really appreciate is a car that is reliable. Good luck with your choice! 👍
@@fredrikschroder thank you! Reliability for me is very very important: I don't even want to think about my car, for me it's a tool and nothing more. The less it has, less it's going to break.
I'm sorry I own both of Turan and Picasso both 2.0 Diesel. My opinion is that nothing can compare with ride in Picasso. 150hp is really something also in Turan. But how it's smooth on road is definitely that Turan cant achieve in any way. Also there is lot more space in Picasso without doubt. I don't agree with verdict
I may be a dull engineer, but the logical layout, practicality and "boring/conservative" looks are very appealing. Ended up buying used 2018 facelift version of Touran (based on Carwow reviews) and it has been the best car in practicality sense with couple of kids. One disappointment has been reliability and I'm still little bit anxious when flywheel, DSG or something else blows up...😅 Going to sell Touran before 200k on ODO..
Very good review, better than carbuyer definitely,I think opposite from Math, the design of Touran is dull only from front, the back actually looks modern and sharp...
infiltr80r - I own mine for 2 years +. It works perfectly for me too. What engine or electronics problems are they? As far as I know, which happened to one of my friends (and I have two) who owns the Picasso too, the problem is with the short battery life (suggested to change by the year).
what? Touran more quiet than picasso!? Heeeeeelll nooooo!!! I had touran previously and my ears were bleeding on motorways. Picasso is much quieter really and that practicality test didn't tell anything but he didnt know how to operate seats. Thats why you have the manual and need get to use to move those seats... its really quit easy when you know what youre doing. And then again, whats the rush? few secs out of my life doesnt mean anything....
Apart from the fiddly touchscreen on the Picasso, it's definitely the car I'd buy. It looks gorgeous, the ample glass surfaces are amazing and it's ok enough to drive. The seats aren't as fiddly once you get used to them.
Mat, how do you measure fuel consumption? Are you relying on the on-board computer or do you check when fueling up? I have never come across an on-board computer that gets accurate mpg and the difference from vehicle to vehicle can be quite big.
Pierrot DMC12 Le Normand Yes there are problems trying to sell a Picasso or any French car really. So you buy your cars and keep them for 10 years? or do you just dump them as trash at age 3?
We have a 07 grand Picasso and we love it, none of these cars cars seem like a worthwhile upgrade, no extra features to make life easier, just pointless extra tech and yes we are the only people ever to get the 2.0 petrol with egs transmission and we love it, spend another £25k? Nope...see how long this one lasts even at £1000 year in repairs should they be needed that takes me to retirement, I don't want carplay, I want small repair bills so based on this kia wins, still won't spend the money for the new car smell though when our 07 does the same thing!
Citroen I would reccomend. We have 1 (The older generation) and it is doing the job just fine! Ton of space,It's economical (1.6-Diesel 110hp) And has enough torque to pull its weight and beyond.
VW tends to make best cars in its class all the time. Too bad haters gonna claim it's too boring (which I don't think it is, it's just more grown up. And you can always get a Golf GTI/R for driving pleasure) or not reliable (which is just isn't true from my and people I know experience).
What a rubbish review. Really, in this class Citroen has no rivals!! VW Touran...cmon, really? And what a joke how he pretends that Citroen system for folding seats is complicated...its the easiest I have ever used. I have a Grand version with 2.0HDi(100kw)...astonishing car!
i like the exterior looks of the Citroen C4 "GRAND" Picasso (it sound's better this way), but the interior ( the dash and the cubby holes) it's a big NO-NO, by the way the "race" did not end very FLAT (like the others) for the VW Touran !!!!
At least put a S/C-Max in it... because my Touran 2011 drives great, I haven't found anything more comfortable, but now it reaches 10 years it's 1 repair after another. After 170k a new (double) clutch went in and I am looking at a revision of pistonrings. Over the past few years I tried bmx, alfa stelvio, renault grand scenic, tiguan, audi etc. but I drive home smiling in my Touran. The seats are great, it's quiet and it floats over the tarmac. So it probably grew on me but looking for another better brand which reaches the standard of comfort and practical use as the Touran!
Still remember when you had to fix the 3rd row seats in the boot of mpv's. It was hard as hell as the seats weighed a ton, but ultimately the third row passengers would have the same seats as second row ones and when not needed you'd have a massive boot.
I know what you mean, we have a 20 year old Citroen Synergie that has 7 full size, comfortable seats. It has done over 156,000 miles and never broken down and always passes the MOT. None of this modern, electronic shite with DPFs and all that, just an old reliable diesel
I'm wondering how well did VW paid you for this review. You say Touran gives better mileage?- how do we know that's not a figure out of the blue that Vw engineers programmed it to show?!
The discussion here is veeeery emotional. Unbelievable, but cars touch your hearts quite a lot. Oooh, and the German car won the competition... When I was to buy a van, I tested three different ones, and I did quite as the testers did here: How to drive, how to fold seats, how to install baby seats, what space is delivered, how does it feel. Is it practical in handling - and is there something "wowing". Believe me or not - the Touran won by far, and it did not disappoint me anyhow. (The volkswagen garage people unfortunately did, but this is a different story...)

I don't care about the result too much since it's MPV's, but you did spoil the result of the test in the thumbnail. Picture of you beside the Touran and the C4 and Carens in the back :)
the reason families commonly buy SUVs instead of MPVs is because they tend to be more stylish, and frankly the touran is kind of a failure in that sense, since now itll lose customers to bettet looking 7 seat suvs.

One thing was forgotten in the test: How about the built-in sound system? That is important! Driving should be fun, and it is more with good music!
I had the last Touran. Then bought the C4 Grand Picasso.... I liked it more than the Touran, but the children and most rear passengers get car sick. Really car sick!! Too much roll.
What did you expect from rubbish german car manufacturer.
@@sl077766 Yes look at those German cars now. 20 years ago u could call them cars now u call them rust buckets. Mercedes, BMW they not what they used to be Volkswagen well its more pricey then it used to be but its still something i wouldnt buy. I always did like the style of the French cars or reliability of Japanese cars. Germans lack style and they not reliable anymore. Its like u need to buy a new one every 5 years if you dont want to spend ure days in a garage after that.
@@sl077766 he bought a diesel, diesels nowadays are restrained by all of the filters and adblue, buying a diesel today makes no sense because all of them have problems.
@@kalczarobert i have had good experiences with VW but i only bought new cars and keep them on average for 8 years and no more than 120,000km.
For me the Citroen would be the best!
We have one!
Why
Citroen grand Picasso 20Hdi is the best, very fast and very fast and sexy!
Citroen wins, looking to replace mine with another one. Beautiful car and great to drive
I get 38mpg out of my Citroen C4 GP
but we have alot of mountains to drive on.
we love it because we can get 3 kid seats on one row, without forcing the door to close.
what engine?, and what mpg do you get on a motorway on a steady run
Well having owned both the vw touran and the citroen grand picasso i can honestly say that the citroen is far more comfortable and a far better softer ride on the uk roads , also the vw had to go back in no less than 3 x times for repairs !! Whereas the citroen has never missed a beat and has now clocked up an astonishing 267,533 miles !! has passed every mot apart from one with a split in one of the rear tyres looking at this review it seems that the chap seemed to try and sell the vw more than the others and the folding down test of the seats well you can just tell he moved faster doing the vw seats than any of the others and seemed to make a bit of a pigs ear when lowering the citroen seats on purpose ?? i have owned many cars over the years and i can honestly say that citroen has proved to be an outstanding car in all aspects !!
Must have been a diesel then,, the petrol engines of citroen are known to cause problems...
@@J2I3H Well i have 3 x citroens now and all are petrol, a 2.0 dohc 16v xsara picasso automatic extremely reliable starts first time every time as all 3 do never misses a beat and is 18 yrs old passed every mot with no advisaries apart from one where it failed on a cracked spring ! my other citroen is a xsara 4 door saloon 1.6 petrol automatic 21 yrs old has passed every mot bar one on a split tyre all other mots not even an advisary ! and this one is 21 yrs old no rust and in lovely condition . Lastly is my c4 picasso 1.6THP 150 bhp petrol turbo 15 yrs old in lovely condition egs automatic 15 yrs old and drives smoothly ,quietly and extremely comfortable as all 3 of them do so when people say citroens are shite i say ABSOLUTE BOLLOCKS in my experience of them !!
@@tb6539 thanks for the reply, im actually eyeballing the Grand c4 Picasso because i need a 7 seater. But the reports on the reliability of the 1.2 turbo keep me from buying it. The oldschool engines are good, but newer turbo engines are not built to last, even with the Japanese brands its going down hill. All thanks to emission bs.
@@J2I3H hi if the 1.2 engine has the wet belt system then run in the opposite direction !! you could try sourcing an older citroen with low miles on ?
Just love the cruising of the Touran. I would not trade it for anything else. Kudos. The fact that I can also attend to my calls through Bluetooth helps on long drives. The seats are comfortable, great fuel consumption and peformance. Yeah! Great family car. Ranking has no effect on me rather the utility of the vehicle. I love the length, the space and the running.
The Touran is good but nowhere near the Picasso. The Picasso in Exclusive trim is absolutely great in all aspects with amazing features.
No need to vote, C4 is the king of family car in this area. I've been using one for the last three year - take it from me, there's no rival.
You know the Picasso is not bad at all. The Touran is very cool because it has more space and very wide. The Kia carens is little bit very good but the caren boot is so small it's also new
Great review really informative info thanks Matt, i have chosen the C4 Picasso got a bargain 2015 with 12,000 miles ex mobility with 2 years Citreon dealership warranty remaining on it plus 2 years added warranty cover from the car sales i bought it from so 4 years warranty cover and its the 1.6 diesel exclusive model 120bhp all for £12,000 for a car that cost £32,000 12 months ago lol the Touran was more expensive tbh,
what mpg do you get on a steady run on the motorway
I agree Harry, I really like Matts reviews but I too felt it was VW biased, Citroen for me.
Buy the VW for the Badge, the Kia for its warranty and the Citroen because if you have a large family, it’s the only one that can accommodate them.
For me, the Touran is the best looking if you spec with xenon lights and big wheels. And of course, the R-line model looks amazing
Nice review, felt you were way too harsh on the VW's styling and the Picasso was just odd for being odds sake and I thought it was the Kia that was the dullest. Still it's just one own opinion so..

I wish they had added the S Max to this review
It is no surprise the Touran wins hands down because it is a brand new model based on a new platform.
i have bought a kia carens 5 place and im realy satisfeid
Love your videos. However, would completely disagree with your opinion about the looks of the Touran. Personally I think that one looks far smarter than the other two. Guess it just boils down to individual taste. Thanks for sharing these great videos.
With seven seats in place you use a roof rack to haul stuff.
I have a Grand Picaso and i find the touchscreen perfectly fine- it just takes a bit of getting used to. Defitintly better than the Touran. Plus the seating situation on the Citroen is fine- ur just impatient- rly not that big of a deal
Citroen looks fantastic.
We all know WV (concern) wins in every test Mats does. 🙂
Im for the Grand Picasso, who else Like!

Love how the Germans spend time on what matters, engineering. The better engine, driving feel, overall quality, interior space, and ease-of-use (look at how easy to fold down all seats!). Sure it looks dated already but it's where my money would go.
Germans fake everything, therefore they are almost never best. Citroen is best in this class hands down.
The Germans use too many options to jack up the price.
I agree when you said it has a lot to do with the badge.
think just think did you watch the video? if yes why are you saying such dumb thing like the citroen is class leader?
A comparison between the BMW 1-Series, the new Audi A3 facelift and the new Mercedes A-Class facelift would be great
It's coming in a few months
Awesome!
+carwow when?
Hi, I'd be interested inknowing the list because I'm going to have to chiose between the two. Could you please?
@@lorenzofortunati Sure here are some of the problems that I had with the VW Touran:
Problems with the glass sunroof that did not close completely, and sometimes rainwater would come in the car because of that.
@@fredrikschroder Thank you for your input. This was more helpful than the video...lol
@@SH-bl9wh Thanks, kinda funny that I've owned both cars. So I think I know a bit more about them than the tester in the video.. 😂
How good is the 1.4 litre 7 seater VW Touran, at climbing steep mountain Roads like the Lake District UK?
I may be a dull engineer, but the logical layout, practicality and "boring/conservative" looks are very appealing. Ended up buying used 2018 facelift version of Touran (based on Carwow reviews) and it has been the best car in practicality sense with couple of kids. One disappointment has been reliability and I'm still little bit anxious when flywheel, DSG or something else blows up...😅 Going to sell Touran before 200k on ODO..
The Touran is smaller than the Caddy, but it sure is more modern in every sense. MPVs are pretty big in the Philippines too.
Very good review, better than carbuyer definitely,I think opposite from Math, the design of Touran is dull only from front, the back actually looks modern and sharp...
Volkswagen Touran And Citroen grand C4 Picasso Are the best and winner. I would love those cars because it has comfy seats. Nice style
.I still think the Picasso is the best
No mather what i would still take the Citroen. The competitors are meh at the best.
The picasso is really good ! My father have one and i love it ! It's really confortable !
All the Picassos I know are sitting dead because of engine or electronics problems.
I own Picasso for 5 years - no problems with that you said, so shut up
Farhad Usmanov
Since yours works, I'm sure most other people are wrong, lol. Now go sit in the corner.
infiltr80r - I own mine for 2 years +.
Now I'm going against other comments but in my opinion the Kia doesn't look like a van like the other 2. Got the longest warranty too
Long warranty doesn't equate to ultra reliability. A truly reliable car wouldn't need a warranty at all!

Mat, how do you measure fuel consumption?
Are you relying on the on-board computer or do you check when fueling up?
I have never come across an on-board computer that gets accurate mpg and the difference from vehicle to vehicle can be quite big.
No. I would prefer the Citroen

Until you try to sell it and nobody wants it?
you don't buy a car for sell it and there is no problème for sell à picasso 😕
Pierrot DMC12 Le Normand
Yes there are problems trying to sell a Picasso or any French car really. So you buy your cars and keep them for 10 years? or do you just dump them as trash at age 3?
my father sold his Picasso without problème ( he sold it to Citroën )
Pierrot DMC12 Le Normand
But for what price? They don't hold value well, that's my point.
Matt got sponsored by VW. ;)
*5:12** What is the point of this test? Nobody does it for speed. And Touran has HUGE gaps, while C4 Picasso is perfectly flat!*

I have 4 children i need one of this car....which one u recommend to me
VW Touran has 5 isofix fittings, so it's a safe bet. Don't know about the other two.
Deni Zg But the VW is unreliable
Citroen I would reccomend. We have 1 (The older generation) and it is doing the job just fine! Ton of space,It's economical (1.6-Diesel 110hp) And has enough torque to pull its weight and beyond.
Otto Nikola Only thing that is unreliable here, is your comment. Cheers
I kinda doubt it. Knowing the 'check engine light' thing that VW and VAG group in particular is known for doesn't sound like 'reliable' to me.
Citroën categoric!!
VW tends to make best cars in its class all the time.
Too bad haters gonna claim it's too boring (which I don't think it is, it's just more grown up. And you can always get a Golf GTI/R for driving pleasure) or not reliable (which is just isn't true from my and people I know experience).
VW builds exceptional cars that have huge appeal for the mass market - just not most UA-cam commenters ;)
@@carwow The worst car won.
And they didn't put the Zafira in the test as it would probably win.
Whats that i smell... a bias?
As time has passed since this vid , which car has proven to be the most mechanically reliable ?
I wonder?
i like the exterior looks of the Citroen C4 "GRAND" Picasso (it sound's better this way), but the interior ( the dash and the cubby holes) it's a big NO-NO, by the way the "race" did not end very FLAT (like the others) for the VW Touran !!!!
Volkswagen Sharan,Ford galaxy,Vauxhall Zafira. PLEASE DO THE MAIN MPVS
As I said before.. The Citroen has always been the best and always will be.
And it has massive discounts if you buy one through carwow! Win win win
The Touran looks the best imo.
Imo Citroen wins with design outside and inside...
arkasza2007 ugly af
Still remember when you had to fix the 3rd row seats in the boot of mpv's. It was hard as hell as the seats weighed a ton, but ultimately the third row passengers would have the same seats as second row ones and when not needed you'd have a massive boot.
I know what you mean, we have a 20 year old Citroen Synergie that has 7 full size, comfortable seats. It has done over 156,000 miles and never broken down and always passes the MOT. None of this modern, electronic shite with DPFs and all that, just an old reliable diesel
Those were the days
I'm wondering how well did VW paid you for this review.
You say Touran gives better mileage?- how do we know that's not a figure out of the blue that Vw engineers programmed it to show?!
is this a re upload?? why!
You haven't made a video of mitsubishi grandis
you guys are working very hard can you do an video for the audi s8 plus vs the competaators and drag race thanks
My dad not that long ago bought a 2020 grand picasso c4 and it's pretty nice I just wanted to see a review.
I think the VW Sportsvan is the best value for money veedub
Looking to buy one of these contenders. Honestly for is either the VW Touran dull and boring looks but pratical interior design and good space or the Kia Carens, which is the most powerful at least the ones i´m looking for are the 1.6TDI 116cv , and the Kia has 1.7 140cv
Let´s face it, none of these are exciting to drive so i don´t bother with that, so the milleage is important, and the one with better level of equipment, which i think the Kia is better too.
Tough choice, i really like the aesthetics of the Kia even if the interior lacks excitment
Consider the verso. I love it
The Touran is the best family car ever and it’s practical and has a brilliant interior ❤🎉
Watched a few of your reviews Matt, thanks for a really good rounded reviews. They're reviews you can use to genuinely compare. Cheers!
Yeah the seat folding what not biased at all...
Touran is the BEST😁
The only thing I can think is a truly free one in this app I have had to pay to get for this
Compare it after using Volkswagen's hard suspension afterwards. Citroen c4 Picasso is most confortable.
In Canada the kia is called a Rondo 2 l gas and it goes like hell, fun to boot around in but we have no diesel option on 98 % of our cars, sad.
Diesel in Europe are really unreliable because of all the filters and adblue and super expensive to fix, so you are better off.
@@dragospahontu wow I was in Europe twice once in early 80's and the diesel as I remember was good but when I returned in the 90's it was terrible, go figure. Diesel in Alberta is excellent, but it's refined about 16km from my city.

Which is the most reliable of the lot ?
It must Carens

the reason families commonly buy SUVs instead of MPVs is because they tend to be more stylish, and frankly the touran is kind of a failure in that sense, since now itll lose customers to bettet looking 7 seat suvs.
Sure the VW might not be the most exciting choice but the most sensible one when you consider resale value, better built quality and money spent where it matters. Your Kia/Citroen will look outdated in a few years, not with the VW.
I test drove the citrone today most amazing car ive been feels like an audi well it does to me since I had a cirone c4 grand picasso vtr+ 2007
