No. Get Prores RAW fully compatible with FCPX, Premiere and Resolve. None of this Scratch business.

You realize, that it's neither in my, nor in Atomos' hands to make Apple, Adobe or Blackmagic do *anything*, right? If you would like to see better support in those apps, complain to them. Your troll posts are pretty unnecessary.

@@mazzeaderhold4045 this is the official Atomos channel. Atomos have worked with Apple and the camera manufacturers to enable Prores Raw, but are now promoting the wonky Assimilate Scratch with its non-native UI and convoluted workflows. Rather than push Scratch down our throats, why not instead use their influence to get high quality Prores Raw workflows working fully and natively in FCPX and Resolve? That’s what I and other users would want. Am not switching NLEs.

@@mazzeaderhold4045 it’s the same in the stills world. From time to time camera manufacturers have pushed their own raw development software rather than letting users use Lightroom or other industry standard applications. This never goes over well with users, and camera makers have now just accepted that they need to work together with the likes of Adobe and Apple to ensure proper compatibility. The same is true for video.

@@BillRey Billy, I’m afraid you got it wrong.
First of all - nobody is pushing anything down your throat.
This video is nothing but a gentle “Hey, here’s something that might help you with your workflow.”
Because as opposed to Adobe and Blackmagic, we’ve done a superb implementation of ProRes RAW at Assimilate - frankly, the best there currently is.
Again, what Adobe, BMD and others do with their software is their business.
The implementation in SCRATCH has been done by Assimilate, 100% based on user feedback.
Atomos had zero - I repeat: ZERO - influence on that implementation.
We did it, because people were asking for support - and we’ve done a pretty damn good job.
We’ve mainly done all this for people who shoot ProRes RAW and need a solution - people like you as a matter of fact - because frankly, as far as I’m concerned, Blackmagic doesn’t give two flying fucks about ProRes RAW, and Adobe did a half-assed job.
So please explain to me, how your anger is being directed at us?
We did nothing wrong here. Quite the opposite - we’ve done everything to help people like you have a solution - and I’m sure as hell not letting you slap me in the face for that.
If you’re unhappy with the level of support in other tools, then this is the least efficient way of
      letting those other companies know.
Also, SCRATCH is not Atomos’ “own raw development software” - it’s a completely independent NLE that has been around for over 17 years now and we support pretty much any RAW format out there.
if SCRATCH is not for you, that’s alright. I can accept that.
But just because you’d like to see the same level of support in other apps, does not mean
you have to shit all over our app on every single video we’ve done about it.
Only trolls do that. And nobody likes trolls, Billy.

@@mazzeaderhold4045 Atomos is promoting Scratch here. It’s on their channel. Had this been Scratch’s own channel that would be fine, but this is Atomos. The sooner they, together with cam manufacturers, enable Prores Raw WB and ISO adjustments with all raw files in FCPX and other NLEs, the better. This should be Atomos’ focus, not Scratch.
