Ah….my all-time favorite venue! Magical place.
I’ve had the pleasure of playing there myself a few times, and it was always the greatest source of massive stage fright for me unlike any other venue. It’s daunting looking up even without people. Thank you for another great video, take care and be safe ,have a great show tonight in my scary spot.
Jackson played Red Rock when I was working in Denver and made me less homesick for L.A. Glorious venue.
Impossible to watch this and not end up with a smile on your face , thanks Lee ...
Never been but it looks amazing!
Seeing Lyle there would be wonderful!
All the best
Red Rock .. Red Rock ! Splendid ... Splendid ! It's Hedley !!!! It's the memories that keep us young , Mr Sklar !
Not only part two, many more... What a lovely place. Thank you Lee ❤❤❤❤❤❤
My son is a lighting designer. I’ve had the privilege of the backstage tour several times. That back staircase with the autographs just fascinates me. I could spend hours in there. Your tour brought back lots of wonderful memories.
Amazing venue, one of a kind for sure. Probably the finest outdoor venue in the U.S. for sure….
What an incredible venue, thank you Lee and all your peeps, to let us participate on your journey(s) !!
I have seen several tours of this venue, but am always excited to see one again. I have been to a concert at Red Rocks (Jackson!)! Amazing venue-sound is perfect and the mountains are breathtaking!!!❤
Red Rocks is the best place I've seen concerts. Also sometimes the worst when the wind blows and shifts the sound but that isn't very often. At night watching the planes in the distance landing in Denver is pretty cool too. I always thought it must be a real high for musicians to play there and look up at the audience and amphitheater.
That place is so magical... Hopefully some day I'll get to experience it.
One of the greatest natural amphitheatres in the world!
Hi ! So exciting! Colorado Symphony!
Beautiful venue! I live not to far from there! 😊
Have a fantabulous night! 💜👩💜🎶🎶
I live in Co Springs. Red Rocks is gorgeous isn't it? Glad I wasn't there when it hailed recently!!
I've had the pleasure of seeing Jackson Browne and James Taylor there in the late 70's early 80's ( I think). I remember being just mesmerized. what an epic place. At the J.T. show I seem to remember that Leland was up on an elevated platform playing some kind of Bass. maybe the body was made of rock? in any case, this place is a treasure.
3 parts! So generous. What a nice venue!!
One of the best amphitheaters in the US! Have a great show. 😎
There is no equal. The Gorge in George Washington comes in second...a distant second.
That is where I want to see a concert more than anywhere else!!!!!
Carpe Diem! 😁✌️
Saw Joan Baez here in 1972.....Great venue.
If I was in a band, I would love to play there. Amazing view.
😊 Red Rocks again! ❤ Nothing quite as sweet as applause and shout outs, from the climbing and rappelling people. 💕 Can think you're by your lonesome sometimes and turns out there's peeps on the vertical spaces.🏜🧗♀️🧗♂️☀️
Incredible venue!
thank you for sharing. that venue looks i-n-s-a-n-e.
wow, that is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing it with us
Wow! Those red rocks are amazingly beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Lee - bucket list venue for me for sure!
Wonderful tour! Thanks for the "Insider view" as well as your insights and always fabulous stories! Safe travels!
Beautiful venue. I sure hope you don't get any hail.
I’ve had several bands there I’ve seen, Grateful Dead mainly because I was a bit of follower for about 11years. Mid 80s early 90s
Enjoyable video, you have really seen a lot of the world in your travels! Thanks for sharing!
Wow a natural amphitheater and dramatic backdrop. Have an awesome show. Packing up now to return to Maui. Had a successful tour serving sessions and healing with my community and fellowship. Grateful and lead by grace returning home.
I grew up 5 minutes from Red Rocks. Saw some amazing concerts. Our high school graduated there. Just so cool...
Nice venue & weather. Back East the rain is shutting down our gigs.
😃😃 Great view of the scenery beyond! Great tour!
Quite an Astonishing venue.
Good to know it’s still intact Lee I see on the news it was battered by storms. What a venue . Certainly on my list of places to check out a gig
So much musical history has taken place at red rock...
Utterly remarkable setting
Thank 😊 you!
Love the mountains,
This is magic. Thanks for taking us along!
Such a cool venue.
Looks like a marvellous venue to play and go to, the seating maybe uncomfortable though. Thanks for another awesome upload Lee.
You don't go to Red Rocks to sit down, my friend. Stay at home if comfort is your bag. Enjoy that Lazy Boy!
@@fretfix1 I live in Australia so I was thinking that was the seating but obviously not, some of our venues are standing but mostly seating.
You are allowed to bring in a bleacher cushion or blanket.
Good evening from Cape Cod, Lee! Didn't they just get pummeled by a hail storm last week out there? Crazy weather! But, such a gorgeous amphitheater.
Have a great show tonight!
🎸🎶🥰
PS- Hey Brad!! 😎🔥🎶🎷👊
It was really terrible when that storm hit. A lot of injuries and damage
@lelandsklar6363 I know, Ugh.
That second song after Copeland's Rodeo the orchestra played on your 3rd video, is John Williams' Dartmoor 1912 from War Horse. So beautiful! I met John years ago. Such an amazing composer.
Love ya, Lee! 🥰🎸🎶
Great place. I've seen; B52's, The Clash, Talking Heads, Sting there. Those are the ones I can remember.
AWESOME! Lee, have a wonderful show - I’m sadly unable to make it, due to work, but I’m so glad you’re in my town!
So beautiful!
Geez, those drums are really pushing through my speakers here on the other side! 😁
Drums sound so good, even with your Iphone
😎 oh yay! Red rocks!!
Brad! Proving that pants is overrated.
In pt 2 or pt 3 could you please show the John Denver sculpture in front of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame? Thanks! Have a great show!
We left Aspen yesterday
I remember the back stage lfrm last year!!!!
We've been missing Brad.
This place is really special !
Makes me think about the antique theater in Vienne, France. Not the same but special as well. You may have played there ?
Hi,beautiful thank you 💪🏻🙏🇺🇸🇫🇷
the only thing is that thin air over there!!
MECCA
Yessssss Pt Deux!!!!!
With a venue so beautiful, yet harder on the crew, Jackson Browne's The Load Out / Stay comes to mind. Denver must be a big enough place to have two or three concerts over succeeding days. But what do I know?
Thanks so much for sharing these videos. Fun to see backstage and down in the tunnel. We really enjoyed the show on the 28th! Y'all put on a great show and the the weather was fantastic. Thankfully, no hail. Hope to see you again soon!
So gorgeous
I appreciate you, thank you for making content.
Evening Leland, late one today👍
👋🏻
❤
YES! We ARE Brad’s “people”! Hi Brad! 👋
At least you now have a covered stage. The old days, you share the danger with the audience when ti came to the weather. I've been there when they've had snow flurries, never for hail like they had a couple weeks ago. At least you come during thea dry time. Tres cool when you get to play with the CSO. Enjoy my state, Lee.
⚓️ Thank Lee 😎
Thank you!!!!
When I was there back in 1969/70…as you say, none of the superstructure was there. I guess it vastly improves the auditory experience, but the view does suffer….unless you’re WAY at the top!
Not sure if it is auditory or just having structure to be able to hang a variety of events and protect from the elements!!
😎✌👍❤🖖
Love Brother
One very special place
“Ah yeah, my people…. “ 😎
Mother Nature's 9,525 seat Venue !
mad cool!
It's a gorgeous place, but I feel for the folks in the audience on bench seating rather than chairs.
Heard of it never saw it till now 🙂
This year will be the last year for concerts at Red Rocks in Morrison. The Saudi's have bought it and plan to disassemble it and transport it to Dubai. Don't worry, a new high-rise condo is planned to replace it starting around 2030.
walk up and down those stairs a couple of times and it'll either kill you or help get you in shape. I was there a few times as a teenager. I am now a young old fart. Enjoy!!!!!😊 I love that place!!!
Wow...
I hate the new roof🤦🏻♂️😂
Hi Brad! Do you still cut hair?
A magical place indeed. Who did the orchestral arrangements?
Not sure. Lyle worked it out with an arranger.
@@lelandsklar6363 it must have been exhilarating. I hope someone put a little bootleg sample up.
Almost precisely one year after your last visit to Red Rocks in video #1010
SICK! enjoy!
I bet you will have 9500 tonight!!!!!!!
It was packed
@@lelandsklar6363 New it would be...So Cool LEE!!!!!! You deserve it!!!!!! Agreed.....WHAT A VENUE!!!!!! Iconic!!!!!
Oh shit. I have not been paying attention. You are at Red Rocks! Are tickets still available? (I used to work for the Architectural firm that refurbished Red Rocks back in the day)
I told you to bring your drone?
Missed it. No rain?
Slow your pan so we can get a better look.
