Camille's augmentation, Viktor's rise to the glorious evolution, and Warwick.. I feel like the next season is gonna focus a lot on "The weakness of flesh"
Love how Singed is just casually responsible for half the fucked up things going on in Piltover and Zaun/Runeterra and he could be responsible for even more
I'm positive that Viktor is going to be almost fatally wounded by the rocket and Jayce has to use the Hexcore to save him because Viktor made him promise to destroy and we know he doesnt, we know the two fall out and we know what Viktor becomes so it lines up perfectly.
True. Maybe the only body parts that kinda survive are the ones already changed by the hexcore. So he replaces the others, not because he wants, but because he has to.
Though season 1 hints that the hex core has a mind of its own and can shut down Viktors body when it wants (meaning it can control Viktor's body to some extent). And making Viktor's body furthemore into a biohextech thing will surely make it like a Doc Ock scenario.
I thought the same thing. He’s so damaged from the blast that he needs body replacements and that’s how he became that. It’s been my theory from the second I saw the ending
I think Mel dying and Noxus using her death as an excuse to start a war makes more sense. Also makes sense that Piltover would give Zaun their independence just so they can blame Zaun for Mel's death to turn Noxus against them instead of Piltover
I dont think mel is dead, i think she somehow will protect jayce and albus maybe caits mother too but not other members cause she doesnt like them so shes not gonna miss this opurtunity. But as a revenge she will try to seperate the cities with bombs but it wasnt a misscaulculation she manipulates it to kill all of the zaun people. But she is not gonna succes.
@@MegaMerich have you seen the backplate of mel shining in the last scene? I saw a Video of a german youtuber theorising about mel being a solari and having the power of using the sun to her advantage and protect people just like Leona. I feel like it wasnt just the reflection of the rocket, because in the scene before you could see she was wearing a black dress, which means it shines through the clothes --> its some magical relict of somekind. She also wears it all the time, even when shes sleeping or sleeping with someone (naughty Jayce :D). Also in episode 8 in the opening scene you saw mel wearing a dress looking really like the solari logo. What do you think about that?
Mel actually notices the rocket coming before her armor shines. When the rocket wasn't even near the window yet. She clearly has magical capabilities and activated her "armor" on purpose for protection. Season 2's opening is going to be crazy
I hope Viktor stays good/neutral through out the series. He's my fav character, mainly cause of the desperations yet drive to never give up, and trying to do the best he can for others.
Yeah, there are so many storylines I'd like to see ending up differently than in league lore. I think it is very possible that Viktor stays good/neutral though. League lore wasn't followed that closely in arcane. It was more of a guideline for storywriters. Besides, Viktor wasn't even evil in league lore imo.
@@dominiorrr6510 Yeah, I just watched Necrits Viktor video and he wasn't evil at all. Just morally messed up. I hope his morals doesn't take a dip like they did in that story though, cause there's no "Struggle". It seems like he just believes he's right and goes with it. I want him to struggle with the choice. Like is this good? Is this bad? What are the consequences? etc. OG Viktor seems 80% Machine and 20% human. I hope Arcane Viktor swaps that around.
@@loleo123 Good points. In my humble opinion, I don’t think Viktor can remain much human in Arcane. This is simply because of his illness. In his current situation (after season 1) he is still dying from it, even though he has a metal leg and a hand. That’s why he wasn’t satisfied even after being able to run - he realises that to be completely healed, he must augment himself even further, which he immediately tried doing. I’d say he will end up being at least 80% metal and 20% flesh. But hopefully, he won’t become some robotic character with no sense of morality whatsoever. I wish that his Glorious Evolution will retain his current character (which I freaking love by the way - fav character) as much as possible. Although, that’s a lot to ask, since such change will probably have a substantial effect on the way he thinks and behaves.
@@poggy9635 Viktor has a pre-mechanized skin where almost everything but his hair and scalp were already machine. Maybe they're slowly going through that route.
I think maybe an interaction between Jinx and Viktor would be interesting especially with Viktor appraising Jinx’s work and both their mutual connections to singed could definitely be an interesting concept imo if they decide to go that route
Never in a million years I thought that Singed, my favorite champion, would have this much importance in Arcane. I was hoping for a name drop or a cameo at best. I love this.
@@IASSAASSAI I know that. What I mean is that Singed is not a popular champ at all, and we all know how Riot treats unpopular champs in term of media prescence and promotion. I guess that with lore oriented products it doesn't make sense to not have a really important champ like Singed
@@tomasherrero3197 Wasn't singed like, the first champion ever created for league? It's neat that his design hasn't been reworked, kit barely touched, and still remains as important even after lore retcons and an entire show made.
@@LiveTwinReaction Yep, he was the firs, so unique too! The only thing I don't like is that his gameplay doesn't match at all with his lore, buy changing him would just simply not work, he's too unique. And his players are too in love with his kit, myself included
Same. Ekko is the champion i hate the most in the entire game, i hate playing him, i hate playing against him, i hate him. But his character on Arcane is simply amazing, i love him there.
He was by far the coolest character and it made me sad that he was so under-utilised. I also found him so cool before the show but now since the show holy fuck he’s awesome.
The fact that Mel's clothes when she was a child were looking like the ones of solaris people, makes me think the armor might be more like the Locket of the Iron Solari or like Leona's shield.
@@997moni wasnt rell kidnapped by the blackrose because of her talent in metal related magic? her being mel wouldnt make sense because mel was banished to piltover by her mother and Rell was being tortured by leblanc somewhere in noxus
Theres an Easter egg Necrit hasnt talked about yet, Heimer admiring Ekko's hoverboard and offering design tips on it, HAS to be referencing the animated short Riot did a while ago about Jinx stealing the hex battery thing, Ekko getting it, turning it into a single wheel, hex powered skateboard that flies off back to Piltover where Heimer gets it again and with the help of his apprentice turns it into a working, flying hoverboard.
The contrast of Camille and Oriana will be so good to expand on what completely replacing your body with the Victor's tech would be in the philosophical way
I'm glad that they didn't over flood Season I with champions: so far every character has clear motivation and relations. I hope they keep things relatively simple in Season II as well. Would be hard though.
they did put a lot of them, but they all have a big role in the story, but they replaced some side character like stanwick, they put an easter egg to make it clear he's no longer the mentor of Jayce and Viktor, now Heimerdinger is their mentor, so in the end there's only a few non-champion character with big role, mainly Silco, Mel
Easy. Let next season focus somewhere else. Like Bilgewater. Maybe a cameo by Jinx, Heimerdinger or even Silco in a flashback. And then you focus on crime gang wars and pirates with Gangplank and Miss Fortune. Throw in Graves and Twisted Fate (as you need those 2 later).
I'm gonna get touched on the Singed being Orianna's father for a moment. During the end of the season, after Silco brings Jinx to Singed to heal her from the battle with Ekko, Singed immobilizes Silco for a brief time and right before Silco passes out, Singed says: "I too once had a daughter." meaning that if Singed proves to be Orianna's father she could already be made.
What's interesting is that Warwick has some quotes in game saying "The killing stops when Zaun is free" hinting at him not being all that bad. It would be great to see interactions between Warwick and Jinx/Vi and the memories it may trigger.
I think he's gonna be the classic insane, chaotic anti-hero that manages to control themselves in the presence of their loved ones, those ones being Vi and Jinx/Powder. I can even already see a scene where he's chasing down Caitlyn because she's an enforcer and we all know his story with them, his insanity only making him more violent towards her, and Vi has to stop him and slowly realizes he's actually Vander, and begins pulling her punches, trying to talk him down and the like.
My guess is that Renni will be the one contacting the doctor, perhaps making a deal with him, to use Warwick for Revenge against Jayce. Then later in the story when Vi is accepted as enforcer, they will send her to deal with the hound of Zaun.
@@christineboari131 i imagine a scene were vi punches warwick really hard and he becomes scared and runs away and she realizes there is something fishy
If we think about it, would actually be possible. Him getting buffed from his chemicals then running arround like a mad man but his fling deals some serious full Ap singed daamage
@Firelord Eliteast67 In Singed’s story called “The Host,” the writer manages to somehow include the consequences of chasing Singed in a very clever way without it seeming ridiculous.
I hope Ekko might get a more important / bigger part in season 2. Even though he is a great character an has an awesome backstory, he was pretty much underused in season 1.
I feel like the things we're (almost) definitely going to see in Season 2 are: Vander becoming Warwick and meeting Vi, Jinx's continued spiral into madness, Caitlyn going for vengeance against Jinx, the fallout from Silco's death creating a power vacuum leading to a gang war in the Undercity, Jayce and Viktor coming to head, and *if* Mel dies then we'll get an inevitable war with either Piltover and/or Zaun.
"everyone else in that room can simply die".... Can't deny that no matter how realistic that was about the series it sounded like a total trol evil boss line
me too! Warwick and Camille are my most anticipated new characters I would LOVE to see more then just being mentioned. ori could be interesting too tho!
Camille also mirrors so many of the characters in arcane, with her wanting to forget a past identity like Jinx, her basically being the opposite of vi in piltover law enforcement with camille being calm and collected and vi being hotheaded(literally legs vs arms), caitlyn being a zaunite sympathizer while camille is kind of prejudiced, and mother medarda having a similar outlook on brutality and protecting family at all costs.
@@Necrit Every member of the council are representatives of each different high houses, that's why they are divided. So putting two member of the same clan wouldn't make sense.
I'm really looking forward to see Camille, because so far, every single character the series has introduced had a dark and weaker side to them. All of them had their sad, emotional moments, where Camille is really just cold, determined and always on point. It would be cool to see her just get in there and put everyone in their places.
With how much the series explored Jinx and vi sisters realatioship i would love for the second season to explore Camille's realatioship with her brother and maybe show her being heartbroken ( no pun intended) by knowing that he tricked her and I would love to see some flashbacks for her and Hakim's romance it was always the most sad part of her Lore and I am a sucker for tragic love stories
@@SphincterOfDoom Camille does have a sad part to her past. Its name was "Riot Jag." He created Camille, Akshan, Seraphine, Kai'sa and the Aatrox rework nobody wanted. Fuck that guy so much god damn. Fucking hack.
I’d love to see Camille and unironically seraphine. Don’t get me wrong I hate her as much as the next person but maybe they could actually give seraphine proper lore or something.
I am doing all the work but Seraphine’s skins and her platform get more and more like Brackern. She is slowly becoming crystallized. But that’s more lore than LoL will give her. I would like it if the gem is speaking to her and slowly corrupting her
@@tomhank896 She can hear the Brackern suffering and she doesn't give a shit, she just wants to use them to become popular in the lore. She is a straight up sociopath.
I really hope Camille shows up in S2, she's a really cool looking character. I've wanted a LoL animated series since I saw the scene in Awaken where Jhin and Camille were fighting.
Camille clan (Ferros) is an important part in the hextech production/buisness in Piltover. Also, they assist Jayce. Camille herself was assigned to stop a noxian alliance (comic release) so there's no way she will let Mel mom to do whatever she or noxian will do.
19:20 I want to make a correction: Viktor hints that he MAY know that yordles are magical, but it's not confirmed because he simply asks: "could you stabilize it? (the hexcore)". It can be interpreted as "you, with your high knowledge and intelligence, maybe could do it", and heimer's reaction seemed to me really panic filled and gave me the impression that Heimer is hiding his magic. Maybe people don't know that yordles can use magic, maybe they only think that they are a really long-living race.
There is an interaction between Orianna and Heimerdinger in the game where Heimerdinger tells Orianna that he once new her father. Hence Singed saying that he parted ways with the Yordle in Arcane
I have a feeling that that scene of a crowd holding up eyeballs in the show is already the cult of the Assembled. And I think the people who started that cult (on accident) were... Orianna and Singed. Also I just want them to kill glamour. I just want glamour to go away.
@@lookatyourself1927 Maybe they can increase the amount of people working on it at Fortiche. And seeing how they already have the foundations, art direction, experience and can re-use a lot of base stuff they already have, every season will come out faster now. I'm guessing 2 years max per season.
Ngl id love to see jhins murder scenes. They are described as horrifying, but nothing more. So im really curious about how jhins artistic way of killing looks like
Whenever all the lore comes together and we start getting to every character from every continent and they are all after the same goals just from different points; Jhin and LeBlanc are probably the best villians. LeBlanc trying to make Swain seem as a weak ruler and she uses Jhin to frame him for multiple deaths outside of Noxus. This leads to the death of Shen, Sona, and the "death" of Garen, and J3. This makes Jhin the main villian of Zed, Kat, and Lux. LeBlanc uses the rise of war to usurp Swain while he's too focused on defending Noxus. She releases the Darkins she has and makes a deal with them to help her find the last Darkin and gain control of Runeterra. This leads our characters to also have to introduce heavier hitters so they go to Mt. Targon and release the aspects Diana, Pantheon, Leona, and Taric.
If this happens then we will also see akali, kayn and camille aswell since they are all connected to that story. Not to mention since its happening during the invasion then we will see riven, yasuo, taliyah, karma, kennen and irelia aswell and lm so hyped if that happens
Another hint that Singed is Oriana's father: "Rio" is an anagram of "Ori", which is what everyone calls Oriana for short. Sure it's a little thing, just relying on reading into his subconscious naming habits, but that's the nature of what _hints_ are.
I just finished watching Act 2 again and multiple times it shows Rio in the vat and there's another vat in the distance with an object in it. I think that's his daughter
This show does not have "one main character" thats how good it is. Yes its Jinx origin story but there are so many main characters.. even non-heroes of the game.. Silco imho was the best written character maybe ever.
Season 2: Viktor's Glorious evolution. Warwick. Singed helping Noxus with weapons. Noxus invading Ionia. Urgot sent to Zaun. And Swain becoming the Grand General. Season 3: Piltover and Zaun receiving more foreigners that are interested in their weapons and augments. Including Jhin to get his gun, and Faey to get her leg. xD (maybe)
I really really hope that focus indeed will be on Victor, and I think it would be really neat if Victor's storyline would start from notes Sky was meaning to show him. I think it would make sense if they contained ideas for his mechanic body augments
12:02 Just some cool real-life stuff that relates to Singed, Rio to me appears to be inspired by Axolotls, amphibians famously known for their regenerative abilities. Axolotls can not only regenerate their heart, but also limbs, or even parts of the spinal cord and brain. In a famous experiment, an axolotl's head was transplanted to another host axolotl's back. To me at least, this connects a little too closely to The Host, Singed's story, and their obsession with prolonging lives. But, y'know since this is fantasy Rio's probably only inspired by axolotls, but it's a cool detail worth mentioning.
I think Viktor is gonna happen differently, i predict that most of his body is gonna be destructed by the explosion caused by jinx in Season1, so that hes kinda "forced" to upgrade the parts that are heavily destroyed, this would explain why he keeps the parts that are already changed, bcs they would be strong enough to resist the blast
Seeing how Viktor is in pretty bad health already, I don't see how he could survive an explosion that "destroys most of his body" It's more likely that his current hex leg and hand will create a defensive barrier just like Vi's gauntlet did vs Sevika, and it will shield both him and Jayce from any explosion damage.
If you see this necrit, you should check out the theory on reddit about Sky, the 4 runes on the matrix are domination, precision, resolve and sorcery, he doesn't understand why it doesn't work. Sky's notebook has the Inspiration rune on it, it is further pushed when she says "Everything you do inspires me, she figured out the missing part 5head theory but looks real plausible
Theory time. What if the whole Brackern Crystal and Clan Ferros storyline is still canon, but only slightly altered? So, for starters, the whole bit where Ferros sent an expedition to Kalamanda, discovered the Crystal Scar, started mining the mineral deposits and then stumbled upon the slumbering Brackern. Then they started stripping away the crystal exoskeletons from the Brackern, which killed the giant scorpion bros in the process, and then fashioned magical crystals out of them. However, here's the kicker, what if Clan Ferros kept their findings in Kalamanda under wraps? Think about it, during that time, Heimerdinger was still part of the Council, and he'd surely protest to a Piltovan Clan performing literal genocide on a sentient species for the sake of profit. To avoid censure, Clan Ferros began secretly hiring handpicked researchers and artificers to experiment and find potential uses for the Brackern Crystals (including Hakim Naderi, the guy who augmented Camille), the most recent of which was a promising Academy youth named Jayce. Being one of the few people in Piltover who has an interest in mixing science with magic, Clan Ferros would have likely approached Jayce and offered to give him funding and sample magic crystals (just don't ask where they got them from) to complete his "Hextech dream". Later on, Jayce's apartment blew up, and Jayce was arrested for possessing unauthorized and dangerous research material. "Coincidentally", immediately after Jayce's arrest, Mel Medarda received a letter from Clan Ferros, and it seemed to pique her interest. We don't know what the contents of the letter were, and it never gets brought up again, but Mel seemed awfully keen to help Jayce not get banished, despite just meeting the guy. Later on, she just "coincidentally" happened to be near the room where Jayce's confiscated research material was held, and then she helped him and Viktor do their little experiment just because she felt like it, apparently. My guess is that whatever the letter from Ferros contained, it must have been quite convincing to get her involved in the whole Hextech business before it even took off. It'd be great to see Clan Ferros get involved in Season 2, right after a couple of seats on the Council became "suddenly vacated", and without Heimer around they might finally be able to bring their involvement with Hextech development to light, so they can reap the rewards and become a major power player in Piltover, whilst their "Shadow" takes care of some clandestine business in Zaun. Plus, in Legends of Runeterra, we just got a bunch of new cards that confirm that Jayce (at least in the future) is openly supported by Clan Ferros, so who's to say for how long their partnership lasted, really? But that's just my 2 cents.
@@loliabuzer I mean, the whole Brackern storyline is pivotal to Piltover lore, and by extension, to the lore of Zaun. It'd be silly if they just decided to drop it. Especially since the BRackern storyline is core of Camille's bio (a character who has one of the most well developed stories), and Seraphine (one of the worst written champions, but also the most recent addition to Piltover/Zaun)-
I think when Mel got the letter from the Ferros clan it had nothing to do with Hextech, because the contents of the letter were, thanks to the technology created by the Ferros Clan, the Medarda Clan became the richest clan in Piltover, that means the Medarda Clan invested in the Ferros Clan and formed a partnership so that both clans have the same advantage, but your theory about the ferros clan finding brackern and trying to research it through jayce it makes a lot of sense to me.
I haven't heard anyone mentioning the amount of crows there are after the first act. They're basically everywhere, Watching everything unfold. And Mel's brother got killed by a Noxian General. There's no way it isn't swain right?
Swain's are ravens, not crows and they are demonic with multiple eyes. Crows are what fiddlesticks use, but they are also a very common leitmotif in media for change and other symbolism
In Orianna's story, her father never allowed her to adventure outside of their home. That may be because of him being Singed and he was trying to hide his identity in front of his daugher. Also, they lived in Piltover, then later they moved to Zaun. The story states that it's because of Orianna's sickness, and the business not going good, but maybe it's because Singed was parting ways with Heimerdinger?
A detail I noticed regarding Mundo: in this tft set, you have the mutant trait. Every champion with the mutant trait is connected to the void, the only exception to this is Mundo. Another hint that Mundo is using shimmer and that shimmer is connected to the void.
I didn't even make that connection even after playing so much tft this set, because Mundo was there I never even saw it as a void trait. Pretty cool foreshadowing if that ends up being true, which it seems likely at this point.
I hope that Warwick is one of the main characters! I can’t wait to see Warwick(Vander) in Season 2 especially after the teaser. I hope we get to see allot of warwick and how he becomes the beast that he is.
me3 ^_^ you could really make Warwick like Venom of Marvel always hungry and more of an anti hero who is dangerous as hell but sometimes vander comes through especially when he sees Vi and Jinx
The writers might change Caitlyn's mother getting kidnapped to getting murder, and instead of pursuing C, we will pursue Jinx. Sounds like a very reasonable change imo. Also, there's way too much content in this video for a single season. I hope we get all this in 2 more seasons, and then move to other regions.
@@Vin50000 Or maybe everything happens inside a same saga of sequential series. Arcane is just the prelude to everything that is currently happening in the world of Runeterra, and the next series gets another name to better reflect the new theme and so on. Maybe even keeping the same name (since Arcane can actually represent basically anything in this universe), but rotating themes til we get to the present situation.
The idea that Jinx is just gonna hang around alone when her relationship with Vi is the centerpiece of the show is just plain silly. I’m guessing we’re gonna get hints about the wider world in season 2 which will lead to other stories being told similar to how the Madalorian season 2 gave us the Book of Boba Fett.
22:25 my only counterargument to this is that Arcane's writing staff *LOVES* writing badass older women, and Camille is a character I feel like they would just go *crazy* with.
I loved all the female characters so far in the show. None of that talking down to male characters and just some shitty dialogue that is really lecturing the viewer. vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, the previous warden. All great characters. I'm hoping we get some really badass male characters like Darius or Zed in the future.
Singed could have turned his daughter into Rio, and made Orianna out of regret for his decision, as the "sacrifice for progress" was too much for him. It could add a lot of nuance to the character.
Necrit as much as like your in depth knowledge, your hatred of retcon for arcane is probably going to hold you back from 1) enjoying arcane, 2) thinking about the overall story in terms of impact and realism. I agree that they shouldn't throw everything out, some stories that tie characters to each other like Corinna, Caitlyn and to a degree Camille with Viktor, ties a really cool web of storytelling and possibilities. but I feel like updating the Bio's AFTER season two makes a lot more sense. It sucks that we have to wait for Riot to go "Syke! here's the real story lol" but tbh some of the stories like Orianna or Camille are loosely tied to PnZ just for the purpose of making a new champ for league, they storyboard the character to tie them to the lore in some fashion and work from there. I personally don't care about retconning if it makes the story better, but making sure the story remains cannon to the stories that people wrote 4-7/8/9 years ago is really really really hampering on creative storytelling. I'm just glad they have a lot to work from that is already very good.
This. Arcane should just pick whatever it needs from current lore but not be afraid to adapt it and add or remove things. The priority is to make the greatest show possible, not to follow the lore to the letter. The current Lore are just a bunch of written stories, it's not like it took a long time or money investment to create each of those stories and biographies. On the other hand, making Arcane takes a lot of time and investment for Riot. Written stories can be changed. Arcane must take all the freedom it needs.
Preach!! I also feel like Necrit takes it too personally when it seems they retcon stuff for the betterment of the series. The gave a lot of good points for why singed should have stayed piltover professor In earlier videos, so I understand why he's happy and is mentioning it so much. However point stands that yes, retconning something and updating bio after season 2 is beyond completely understanable and ok. Necrit's loathing of retconning is just his subjectivity popping out every now and then, so I kinda understand, but if he's going to claim the season 2 is bad because it retcons something, that's the point where I would be like necrit chill out for a second
I could see them doing an arcane seraphine where she gets an outfit thats more fitting. Also really hoping we get to see pre transformation urgot getting sent to kill mels mom or something.
I swear i feel like Savika will be the next League of Legends champion. We've seen how her kit would be already in Arcane, i think it would be very interesting
I highly doubt it, only because she'd look too similar to Samira, she wouldn't pass the Riot Silhouette test, case in point, they're adding Silco as a champion in Teamfight Tactics but not in League of Legends, becuase he doesn't have a unique - enough appearance, just like Savija wouldn't.
What we might see: Piltover and Zaun going to war with each other due to Jinx's actions. Viktor's Glorious Evolution and his consequential fallout with Jayce. Vander becoming Warwick. The introduction of the Void.
I’m betting that after Mel’s death, Jayce will forget about peace and his tune will change on the Undercity. With this, Viktor will feel betrayed and take the Hexcore and leave. This will cause an irreparable separation in their relationship. Viktor will continue to evolve, while Jayce does Jayce stuff.
About singed being oriana's father, there is also the point when jinx is about to die and sylco asks for help, singed says " i also had a daughter once..."
I love this theory because this would add more character to Singed in the lore. Also this got me thinking I don't Singed is his real name. Im sure that what people call him after he got roasted in act 1 or he feels like no one deserves to know his real name because he didn't want his daughter to find out that he was the underground doctor working with gangsters or the mad scientist that makes trippy things.
I have a theory, maybe Viktor will use that specific hexcore in the series to make Blitzcrank because of the fact that you mentioned it is evolving and adapting and also has a affiliation with Viktor so maybe as Viktor created him, Blitzcrank will likely know him as his creator. (This is just a theory).
Sky, before her death, says that She was inspired by Victor trying his best to help Zaun. I think she was inspired by Viktor to create the steam golems, and that those blueprints are written on he notebook (which Victor still has)
That hexcore is corrupted, Blitzcrank on the other hand has pure intentions. If it was a killer-robot with purple glowing eyes instead, I'd buy your theory.
Seeing Orianna get introduced...."Fieram" is such a heartbreaking tale. Also "House on Emberflit Alley", Viktor's character short story would be a perfect story to tell in a few minutes of an episode...it gave so many layers to Viktor's character at the time and was one of, if not the cornerstone that would allow his character profile to blossom.
Arcane could go for a really long time. There are really good stories they could cover. I’m really hoping they go that route, instead of just ending Arcane with the current arc they have now.
i hope they ended Arcane with the current arc, and made another series for different stories. just like the mcu is to marvel, there are spiderman stories, iron man, thor, etc
They can make so much series from their vast champion selections and their origins. We got Piltover as the basis, the makings of Zaun, a hint of Noxus. They can make other series that interconnect into the other places like Ionia, Demacia, Bilgewater, Shadow Isles, Freljord, Bandle City, Ixtal, Targon, Shurima, The Void, the list is endless!
I wanted to point out a detail you mentioned a few times in previous video's that's probably wrong. You said shimmer came from some voidlike organism, but I'm positive Rio (the oxylotl looking thing) is the main source of it. It would make *much* more sense storywise; Rio, the mutation, is used to make shimmer which mutates anyone that consumes it. When ingested too much, they suffer the same errosion as Rio does. The organic matter connected to the shimmer factories could be organs harvested from Rio, rather than from some random void creature.
I think Rio was just being kept alive by the shimmer. If you look closely you can see the shimmer being pumped INTO Rio, not out of it. That also makes more sense with Viktor’s line “I understand now”. He saw Singed keeping Rio alive in a tortured state as horrible, but when he himself developed a terminal illness, he understood why Singed would keep Rio alive, no matter the cost.
Rio was being kept alive by the shimmer, if it came from her she would not need it to be injected from an outside source, and that would not explain why the Hexcore began turning all voidlike only after absorbing Viktor's blood that was tainted with shimmer.
possibility for mel. Locket of the Iron Solari. I don't think Mel will actually die. It would make her storyline theme questionable. her mother would have been correct. War was the right option. It would also make issues with the fathers/daughters theme. As Ambessa and mel ALSO parallel vander/vi/jinx, and silco/jinx. except Ambessa exiled Mel, to prevent the weakness that it "caused" vander and silco. the story fits much better if Mel is alive to stand up to her mother. I would simply expect Mel to be seriously injured. enough that she is taken out of the picture, allowing Ambessa to take over, with a much weakened Piltover, as its council is dead/incompacitated.
If you stop the video on a moment after the thing on her shoulders glows gold and camera begins to zoom out you can see almost naked mel with this golden shining thing covering not just shoulders, but also her spine. In other scenes this portion of this thing is covered by clothes and now clothes for a brief moment become invisible. Why they show it it to us in full now? I’m almost sure she will survive.
I think the disaster that sunk Zaun already happened, what is written about it seems like an event of some decades back maybe even a century already. Just because Zaun doesn't have its name yet doesn't mean the event didn't happen it is just that the undercity was never considered its own city just a part of the new one called Piltover. And if it didn't happen how would you explain the lanes being literally underground and people taking literal elevators to go down? The idea of glamour is interesting and all if it had been properly developed but it is clear they threw it to the wayside already, at this point it is best to see it as non-cannon anymore. And if I remember correctly the only "cannon" instance of it appearing is that one short comic.
Ive had a theory that viktor would be heavily injured in the explosion and jayce would use the hex core to save viktor instead of destroying it and thats would be the start of their falling out
I honestly don't think Swain is the Grand General yet, and I think Urgot is the man that Mel's brother crossed, leading to Urgot coming to Piltover/Zaun to settle the score and weed out a conspiracy against Darkwill. Of course things won't go his way and he'll end up in the Dredge being tortured by Baron Voss. Also not sure Viktor will necessarily be THE main character of season 2. Based on the teaser we've already gotten, its still going to have a huge focus on Vi, Cait and Jinx (whose story is far from over. I think there's a lot more they can still do with her). As for rewriting character bios to match Arcane, I think they could do it without spoiling much if anything. Pull a Jinx and tell us who they are now while only giving cryptic hints of key moments in their past.
That's what I am thinking all the time. Swain is one of the best characters imo. A real presence when there. Hope he will get a major role in the future
They should keep him for a Noxus or Ionia focus story. His lore is really interesting and he's linked to many character, i don't want him to be just a cameo in Arcane...
Thinking about the line of “sins of the father” makes me wonder if season two will focus slightly more on Vi’s character arc. Season one was about Jinx stepping into herself. Because of, and despite, Silco’s fatherly influence on her. Thematically, to pair with the sisters’ Yin and Yang energy, that would make sense to me if in this chapter Vi wrestles with stepping into her own power and authority. Because of, or despite, Vander’s fatherly influence in her life. ❤
Nothing will beat the intimacy of Arcane's first season, as well as the surprise of seeing it for the first time, but moving forward, the wild Runeterra universe will be so exciting to explore!
So here is actually what I think: We will see something completely different in Arcane 2 to start out. We'll start off in a different Region(maybe noxus) with someone getting notified about the aftermath of episode 9 and we will get an outside perspective of PnZ. This would also act as a pseudo timeskip with everyone having changed a bit once we inevitably reunite with them. With how well the show is animated and how long it takes to produce it I am convinced that they will try to keep a tight pacing. With 10ish regions in the lore I doubt they can afford to spend multiple seasons exclusively in PnZ.
Doesn't really make sense when the story in Piltover and Zaun isn't done yet. Yes, the show might dabble into more of the other regions, mainly noxus because of Mel, but I don't think there will be any focus in those regions.
I'm really hoping the show resists the tacky urge to kill Mel off to give Jayce angst. The set up with her family and their more powerful foe makes me want her to be part of that story going forward. I hope they do keep the story tight and focused and don't rush to bring in too many characters or feel beholden to the canon lore, also not keen on the idea that all the established champions have impenetrable plot armor, it ruins all tension. Season 2 needs to focus more on characters that aren't the sisters methinks.
it doesnt ruin any tension???? ever scene better call saul. Half the cast we already know the fate of, and yet the tension is insane. the tension lies in the characters we dont know the fate of
I mean, it appears to me she would be the one closest to the explosion tho, hell its looked to me like the missile was headed straight towards her... I just hope Jayce has the conviction in peace to try to fight for it even tho he will be hurt by her death, which would put him at odds with her mother who would judge him for not wanting vengeance
Unironically, Sera could redeem a bit her character if she will appear in S2. She can hear the souls of others - she can help Jinx somehow. And they can add a bit of Breckern's lore as well. Maybe they even could manage to show that her magic songs actually work. If war between Zaun and Piltover actually happens, noxians involvement in it is inevitable. Somehow, I think Swain already taking control of Noxus. In this case, we can see different parties of Noxians fighting for Zaun or Piltover. E.g. Darkwill loyalists with Urgot fight for one part of the city and Swain for the other. But it will be too overcomplicated, so it is unlikely to happen. I wish Riot do some side projects about alternate universes. Because it is perfect tool to show interactions between champions that are impossible in core lore because these champions never meet/enemies/friends/lovers/etc in core lore. And they, at least, have happy Jinx.
Nah Seraphine is such a forced character i hope she wont ever play a major role. I would be okay if she gets like a short cameo but thats it. She just doesnt fit the drama of the story at all. I just dont want Jinx' or anyones screentime wasted with interactions with Seraphine honestly. There are way better new characters that they can add that actually drive to story foreward like warwick, camille, urgot and such. We dont need Seraphine to play a major role.
She does. It is most likely that she knows what went on behind the curtains and Camille wasn't an enforcer, she was the Clan's intelligencer basically the CIA or MI6. Plus, multiple Enforcers were involved in the massacre
Necrit I have something for you that you missed (it seems !) During the end of season one, Viktor asked Jayce to destroy the hexcore, Jayce even promised to do it ! But obviously he won't be able to achieve that goal. During the whole first season, They both are developped in mirror, if something happens to one of them, it will happen to the other in any way shape or form. Meaning that, it will probably be one of the main reasons behind them facing each other.
People have put forward the idea that Viktor will be dying after Jinx's rocket hits and Jayce would use the Hexcore to save Viktor instead of destroying it like he promised, and that would not only create an unmendable rift between them, leading to their rivalry in current lore, it could also be what makes Viktor's body turn into what it is now.
There is one small scene where heimerdinger does use magic in Arcane and it's quick and easy to miss. When he goes down to the undercity heimerdinger sees a child who gives him a few nuts/bolts and out of it he makes a small top-like device that has more than it initially started with. I doubt that this was just slight of hand, and even the way he does it is somewhat of a reference to classic "magic tricks". I think this scene is a bit bigger than it lets on in that he's showing a change from his incredibly rigid beliefs considering any form of magic to him should be off limits due to its potential to be misused.
Yea, that also makes the scene make more sense. On it's own it's not much more than a reality check and a scene for Heim to show sympathy. The magic part would make the scene even more improtant.
It will be interesting to see how they write Warwick. By now it’s common knowledge that it’s Vander, or at least that’s what makes the most sense. When he interacts with Vi and/or Jinx, do y’all think his protectiveness over them will be amplified since he was turned into a werewolf like creature? We all know wolves protect their pack, so I wonder. This theory was made by a friend who thought of this at 3 A.M 🤣🤣 I thought it was an interesting theory
I think Singed stories will be a huge part of Season 2. Warwick and Camille will be the new big "Stories" for S 2. After S2 maybe a transition to Noxus or some other place. I dont think they can really get more then 3 seasons in Piltover and Zaun
I’d love to see them have Heimerdinger and maybe Ziggs or Rumble too use human disguises, and that could make for a great Heimerdinger Arcane skin. A tall, lanky man with sick facial hair.
I just realized the shape of the cave where viktor and singed met, looks really voidlike, like the art riot gave us from icathia getting consumed by void, maybe the void get to infect that cave and rio mutated there and the purple flowers started growing there, maybe singed need rio to survive because he produce some kind of substance needed for the glimmer, maybe because the cave stopped growing the flowers
I feel like glamour should be a thing in the past, like during the early days of Piltover, when all the yordles entering probably try to transition into humans with glamour to avoid suspicion, because Piltover is founded just like Demacia, as an anti-magic nation. And then something in the past might cause the yordles to be slowly accepted in society, followed by other cultures like vastayans or ionians, noxians, thereby making it a multicultural city it is now. And plus it's feasible because Heimerdinger outgrows the city itself, so he can be the one who comes up with Glamour, hence why he doesn't mind being incognito in act 3, because he's used to doing that.
imo the Piltover explosion stuff that separates zaun already happens. its why they are so cutoff from there. its why the undercity exists. its just that they are now starting to form an identity of a city. which makes sense, since after such a catastrophe people wont be thinking of making a city as much as surviving. now undercity has come into its own enough that its willing to form a government and identify as Zaun
What do you think about Mel having some type of protection magic. I didn’t realize she was the first person in the line of the rocket but was completely fine
The only potential flaw with Singed being Orianna's father, is that in arcane, Singed said that he lost his daughter. Of course, there are multiple ways they could rewrite this so that it still works. like, he ends up building a new daughter. or when he says lost, he meant that ori is too different from her human form
Can we talk about Jinx's line in the Arcane Season 2 teaser? "I'm glad it's you. Had to be you." The teaser makes it sound like she is talking to Vi, but I'm going to guess that she says it to Warwick. We know from the teaser that Warwick will appear in Season 2, maybe Jinx will meet Warwick and she will recognise Vander.
warwick is definitely most likely. personally id want it to be ekko just so we can actually finally get a dialog scene between ekko/jinx. or even silco to see how/if shes still dealing w that trauma
It most likely is Vi. Makes most sense if she teams up with Cait to try and stop Jinx from blowing everything up. Only other person I could think of is maybe Ekko if they get another fight (man im really hoping for that). I guess Warwick is possible but she sounds so spiteful in the way she says it and she would probably feel more guilty/sad when discovering Warwick used to be Vander.
I don’t think that they’ll all die, none of them have enough depth to croke exept for Mel and it was foreshadowed that a killer would be coming after her. And t think that Viktor will have to use the Hexcoure to save some of their lives. It makes sense, he hates it now because of a death but it suddenly becomes the thing that saves lives.
I like listening to your theories not only because of the great details you include, but also your enthusiasm. And your accent is awesome too, idk where you're from but your accent makes the explanations even better
i think mels "armor" glowing at the end isnt just eye candy. in her childhood shes wearing something that looks like from solari so i wouldnt be surprise if she can shield herself like leona.
As I see it, Riot may be dropping the secrecy of most of the species in Runeaterra, as it didn't make sense. It is a world of magic with knights, paladins, empires and steampunk, why would magical beings be so rare. I mean, in Demacia it makes sense, but the rest of the world? It would be like people trying to deny the existence of Elephants just because they have never seen one up front. What I meant to say is, this change may be for the better, as what seems to be important now for Yordle kind IS Bandle city, not so much the Yordles themselves. The same goes for the Vastaya, who are clearly thriving in Piltover.
Considering hextech technology is newly being developed, I think we will see Camille’s transition in season 2. She will work for her brother for many years untill she abdicates him and replaces the head of the family with her niece. We know that her niece is involved with “C” according to Swain’s quotes, and Camille will most probably try to cover that up from Caitlyn and Vi. However, this feels like a long time and we may see these events of the “C” in season 3. Also, considering Camille is very old and these events do take a lot of time frame, we may not even see her untill season 3.
I think the thing with Rio is that she is a key ingredient in producing Shimmer. Singed basically cultivated her as a biochemical factory, hence the "the mutation must survive". I doubt that Rio is directly connected to his daughter, but it could still be something that he needs to revive/repair her.
We see Jinx looking at the fire after the explosion mesmerized by the flames and in awe. Close up shot of her face and eyes. POV She sees in the flames hallucinations forming in the clouds of smoke, of smiling faces (symbolic of the smiling cloud face after her ult in the game) and she hears soft gentle voices calling her name from afar. Close shot on her face, the smiling cloud makes her giggle and she makes an amused funny expression, tilting her head. She lifts her hand towards the flames as if to touch it and says ‘’It’s beautiful’’ Shot of Vi she yells ‘’Powder!” she and Cait are holding each other in complete shock and bewilderment. Jinx close up profile “Have you ever seen something so beautiful?” Vi’s voice is heard behind trying to call her “Powder!” Shot of the flames and crumbling buildings. In the back we hear Vi screaming “Powder!!! what have you done!?” The word ‘’done’’ startles jinx for a moment, and we see her face as if she is almost awoken from her trance, but it is deafened immediately and replaced with words of Silco, who emerges from the flames as a massive hallucination and says “You have DONE so WELL Jinx”. Vi and Cait are looking at Jinx talking to herself saying “I did, didn’t I” Shot of Silco “I am so proud of you. You are perfect Jinx. You showed them all! Jinx makes a confident satisfied smile. Shot of Silco “Now rejoice! Laugh my child and be free! Silco says loudly and encouragingly. We see a close up shot of Jinx’s face changing from astonishment to wild confident laughter. With Slow motion in effect and some kind of dramatic or combat music starting. Cait and Vi immediately start running towards her to try stop her. They are both furious. Jinx turns in slow motion holding her gun aiming at Cait. Slow motion stops and Jinx fires at Cait. Vi pushes Cait and gets shot in the shoulder. Jinx says “Omg Sis, Really!?” You almost died for a cupcake! You really did change.. Vi breathing heavy “So did you. “You are fucked up Powder. I don’t know if I can save you, but I will stop you”. Jinx says “That sounds like fun! And I want you to stop me Vi. I want you to need me. Cupcake can come too. Cya losers!” Jinx jumps from the edge and disappears into the night. End scene

naw he might change his mind because war is inevitable
I'm so glad Viktor is getting all this attention in Arcane
I think Mel dying and Noxus using her death as an excuse to start a war makes more sense. Also makes sense that Piltover would give Zaun their independence just so they can blame Zaun for Mel's death to turn Noxus against them instead of Piltover
I like this theory bc it sounds like actual geo politics
Mel dying could also start an interesting story line between Jayce and Jinx
I dont think mel is dead, i think she somehow will protect jayce and albus maybe caits mother too but not other members cause she doesnt like them so shes not gonna miss this opurtunity. @@MegaMerich have you seen the backplate of mel shining in the last scene? I saw a Video of a german youtuber theorising about mel being a solari and having the power of using the sun to her advantage and protect people just like Leona.

Maybe they're slowly going through that route.

they did put a lot of them, but they all have a big role in the story, but they replaced some side character like stanwick, they put an easter egg to make it clear he's no longer the mentor of Jayce and Viktor, now Heimerdinger is their mentor, so in the end there's only a few non-champion character with big role, mainly Silco, Mel

His mortality influencing his own morals
There’s definitely gonna be Warwick/Vander vs Vi.

Including Jhin to get his gun, and Faey to get her leg. xD (maybe)
singed has already helped the noxian empire with weapons because singed is building warwick after the ionia expedition.

12:02
Just some cool real-life stuff that relates to Singed, Rio to me appears to be inspired by Axolotls, amphibians famously known for their regenerative abilities.
9:35 you also forgot that Warwick's theme could be heard during his transformation on the bridge when he uses shimmer.
I think Jayce is going to use the Hexcore to save him instead of destroying it like he promised, and that'll lead to their split.
Seeing how Viktor is in pretty bad health already, I don't see how he could survive an explosion that "destroys most of his body"
It's more likely that his current hex leg and hand will create a defensive barrier just like Vi's gauntlet did vs Sevika, and it will shield both him and Jayce from any explosion damage.

But that's just my 2 cents.
man, if you just predicted half of season 2 i'll just start believing in time travel and magic. And then i'll ask you to teach me your secrets.
@@loliabuzer I mean, the whole Brackern storyline is pivotal to Piltover lore, and by extension, to the lore of Zaun. It'd be silly if they just decided to drop it. Especially since the BRackern storyline is core of Camille's bio (a character who has one of the most well developed stories), and Seraphine (one of the worst written champions, but also the most recent addition to Piltover/Zaun)-
This ain't 2 cents, this feels more like a Million dollars
I think when Mel got the letter from the Ferros clan it had nothing to do with Hextech, because the contents of the letter were, thanks to the technology created by the Ferros Clan, the Medarda Clan became the richest clan in Piltover, that means the Medarda Clan invested in the Ferros Clan and formed a partnership so that both clans have the same advantage, but your theory about the ferros clan finding brackern and trying to research it through jayce it makes a lot of sense to me.

what if it's actually fiddlesticks. after all he knows everyones fears aswell

I think she is gonna die before they get to the present time
What we might see:
Piltover and Zaun going to war with each other due to Jinx's actions.

Viktor does create Blitzcrank at some point.
Sky, before her death, says that She was inspired by Victor trying his best to help Zaun. I think she was inspired by Viktor to create the steam golems, and that those blueprints are written on he notebook (which Victor still has)
I think Blitzcrank might even come from the soul of the dead girl
I wouldn't be surprised if Viktor released Blitzcranks and Zac and destroyed the notes because jayce wants to use them as soldiers.
@@RR-nj8mz Yeah that could work too, but I could care less about what name it would fall under as long as there’s more 😂
They can make so much series from their vast champion selections and their origins.
Wasnt shimmer made out of those purple flowers ?
Yeah, and rio is the void creature , literally same thing
I love the speculation everyone is doing, just goes to show how amazing Arcane is
possibility for mel.
Or may be Mel is secretly a Leblanc mimic or a member of her order
Also Jayce would have to go after Jinx right away if she killed Mel.
@@xelandar yeah we can see them under clothes and behind the back of the chair, has to mean something

they're totally gonna do this, cuz in main canon isn't Vi literally called the enforcer of Piltover?
it's gonna be about how she feels like she's betraying Vander and Zaun by working for Piltover

Season 2 needs to focus more on characters that aren't the sisters methinks.

ever scene better call saul.
Doesn't Camile have a voice line with Vi where she hints at being the enforcer that killed Vi and Powders parents?
She does. It is most likely that she knows what went on behind the curtains and Camille wasn't an enforcer, she was the Clan's intelligencer basically the CIA or MI6. Plus, multiple Enforcers were involved in the massacre
Necrit I have something for you that you missed (it seems !)
During the end of season one, Viktor asked Jayce to destroy the hexcore, Jayce even promised to do it !
I’d like to see more into viktor’s origin story. Not only because he’s my favorite champ but also because his lore was always so interesting to me.
Can't wait for Camille's origin story. I also hope to see Lux and other mages in season 2, so far we only got to see a glimpse of what magic can do.
Zac will probably be an Easter egg in something in the back ground like a book cover. Seraphine might have a poster on a wall somewhere
imo the Piltover explosion stuff that separates zaun already happens. its why they are so cutoff from there. its why the undercity exists.
its just that they are now starting to form an identity of a city. which makes sense, since after such a catastrophe people wont be thinking of making a city as much as surviving. now undercity has come into its own enough that its willing to form a government and identify as Zaun
You are right in a few guesses. But missed a lot.
Had to be you."
The teaser makes it sound like she is talking to Vi, but I'm going to guess that she says it to Warwick.
We know from the teaser that Warwick will appear in Season 2, maybe Jinx will meet Warwick and she will recognise Vander.
warwick is definitely most likely. personally id want it to be ekko just so we can actually finally get a dialog scene between ekko/jinx. or even silco to see how/if shes still dealing w that trauma
x to doubt
I would love to see a scene between Camille and mother of Mel exchanging words about who the boss is.
22:21
It would be kinda weird to have Arcane Camille after we've already got Arcana Camille.
Look at this sheeple, believing in elephants.
idiot thinks elephants are real
everyone point and laugh at this elephant believer
This thread is like the Romans before battling the Carthaginians in the Alps
One thing I never hear people discuss regarding Singed and Ori. The creature dr singed keeps his workshop is named Rio which is an anagram for Ori.
Scene after the explosion with Jinx, Vi and Cait:
We see Jinx looking at the fire after the explosion mesmerized by the flames and in awe. Close up shot of her face and eyes. POV She sees in the flames hallucinations forming in the clouds of smoke, of smiling faces (symbolic of the smiling cloud face after her ult in the game) and she hears soft gentle voices calling her name from afar. Close shot on her face, the smiling cloud makes her giggle and she makes an amused funny expression, tilting her head. She lifts her hand towards the flames as if to touch it and says ‘’It’s beautiful’’
Shot of Vi she yells ‘’Powder!” she and Cait are holding each other in complete shock and bewilderment.
