I agree. They personally used to be my favorite about 5-6 years ago. I have seen a steep decline in past 2 years. Especially on their inter European flights.
Business class sounds, and looks, very nice...
I definitely felt well rested after the flight
They deserve a 3-star. No better. Swiss, Finnair, KLM, Air France, heck even British are better than Lufthansa.
Swiss is great, they give toys to the kids, and have snacks, Air France yes. I’ve recently flown on KLM and Finnair, nothing special.

Lufthansa isn’t a bad airline, all the times I flew from DC to Frankfurt I always had a wonderful time, it’s just since meal prices and everything has gone up during Covid they have cut the quality of the food. It’s not just Lufthansa most of the other airlines.
The officially lost a star according to Skytrax.
I flew them 4 times this year. Inside Europe, planes are dirtier and meal service has been reduced to a cup of water in economy.
It’s unfortunate, they used to be my favorite airline.
Turkish Airlines is the only airline that still excels within Europe in my opinion.
@@sushka - I'd really like to hear your experience on Turkish Airlines... I'm planning to fly from Bahrain to Los Angeles in the very near future... Turkish Airlines comes up with a decent price for business class travel...
I absolutely love Turkish Airlines, even more than Emirates due to the service from the happy crews.
They are my number one airline behind JAL.

For the last three years I had only very bad experiences on Lufthansa flights. Especially the attitude of the crew is three stars at best. Let alone the meals and lounges etc.
What class were you in?
LH used to be my favorite, but I agree, they have come way down unfortunately.
I agree about the crews as well. They are quickly becoming a cattle car airline.
Business class was OK, but not up to the same level as other airlines.
@@sushka I was flying business class a couple of times lately, but now I avoid Lufthansa at all costs. It's just a shame how a few wrong management decisions can ruin an airline in a matter of two years.
I hope they can improve soon
@@sushka I hope so too, in Central Europe there are not too many other options. Recently I had the pleasure of flying Austrian Airlines business class, and it was a genuine pleasure!

Does Lufthansa still require the mask???
Yes they do. Actually it’s a German government requirement.
But they aren’t very strict on enforcing the mask after takeoff.

This lounge was near gate Z50, the non Schengen lounge. It wasn’t too close to our actual gate however.
Maximum 3 Stars compared to other 4 Star carriers.
