@@yourhell3290 Ai doesn't necessarily have to be part of robotics. basically robots are machines capable of doing jobs involving complex processes. for example, CNC machines are actually robots but they can work without any involvement of Ai. 3d printers, robotic arms and various other machines are technically robots. robotics mostly works with topics like control systems, SLAM, CV, etc on the bottom layers. Ai only works on the top layers and has very little access to the bottom layers.
@Neeraj kumar By definition robot is “a machine capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically, especially one programmable by a computer.” I think Ansheer doesn’t understand what robot is. Face and voice recognition followed by engaging a conversation are also complex tasks. It is not a toy, it is a robot indeed!

When the pitch started I knew only one person will invest in this and he is Piyush... Many people are technically sound but they might not have right business mind on how to convert it to a business opportunity and this is where Piyush sir is helping a lot of indian talents.
Ye prototype sach mei chote mote colleges ke project jaisa tha. Actual robot is something which is focused on performing some particular task really well (much better and faster than humans). Having a good brain, good knowledge is just not enough. Direction is important!

@@vaxan5126 exactly bolna bada asaan hota hai "chote mote colleges ka project". Jab actually shuru hota hai to gand fat ti hai. Both of those things robotics and machine learning and AI are insanely difficult things and to combine them is another level of complexity. Agr ye "college project" level ka hai to mai abhi nursery level ka hun.
Peyush is a pure tech savvy guy and driven by technology over business if he sees he can help back to the community! All in all if he sees that something is there , he will not demoralize! Hence he's a model of youth❤ I adore him a lot...big fan

I am just shocked on the advice being given to these individuals. You need real business advice. Totally agree with what Ashneer said. There is a reason why someone like Peyuah wants a 25% equity for 25 L. It’s probably like 1 year salary for a smart guy in that space. He has two people putting their mind body and soul for to make an impact in this space. It wouldn’t be hard for Peyush to have someone identify a problem domain and get it launched. But in this process or this relationship who is the entrepreneur?
They are basically tech geeks and I don’t think they can be entrepreneurs at this point. Eventually when they are skilled enough to create products that can be used by masses they might be able to become businessman but with the products they have they are just making toys
These two guys should have given a counter offer of 15% and then settled for 20%. Peyush was also expecting them to do that. But they are hardcore geeks and lack the art of negotiation/haggling (which is required for an entrepreneur). They can be successful behind the scenes engineers with the right leader giving them business ideas and helping them sell their product.

With every deal done by any shark, It's always the "ALRIGHT" i hear from Mr. Anupam Mittal. In almost every deal whether Mr. Anupam is 'IN' or 'OUT'.
Oh vow. They went from 4% to 25%. Indian entrepreneurs first needs to believe their valuation and the company. You just changed your business to build robotic arms which will help lenskart and all industry as colobrative robots.

This was literally the best deal they could get. The replica of this robot was made 15 years ago. So whats the point lmao? They are pre-revenue and they had 0 sales. They didnt know shit about their business model and they came to ask 12.5 Cr. valuation ? on what basis? lmao.

One thing to note is that these sharks are purely there to earn a buck for themselves they just portray as if they want to invest to help startups but when the startup doesn't generate wealth for them they decline any help
If you want to earn money just say so but don't portray yourself as if they are doing it for the country and making a revolution etc and all that, just say that you are there to do business

Ashneer was a little harsh, if it can work in a hospital distributing masks, sanitiser and covid accessories and is programmable, then sure it is a Robot technically speaking, it does appear like a toy and also it doesn't have many applications in the real world scenario, Robotics market is mainly in the industries and the Robots on offer today are a lot more advanced with Fanuc, Kuka robots dominating the space and comparatively, this product is far too behind, I can understand Ashneer is talking from this perspective, the civilian robot although simple is not yet found any use as of today, these Robots were developed back in the 80's in Japan and are yet to find a market, Piyush had the foresight and made the right bet as these 2 guys seem to have the skill and maybe develop a Cheap Robotic arm which has many applications, he bought the skill, not the company.
