I think Ashneer took the risk only on the actuator part of the bike because it was a patent model and it can draw significant amount of money by giving this to big players in bike industry.
Clearly, Anupam hasn't checked the price of 2-wheelers lately if he thinks INR 1.5 lacs is an expensive bike market. These days even gearless scooters (petrol-powered) are costing INR 80-90k.
Bro, they're not 'gearless'; they're CVT gearbox transmissions. CVT gearboxes are generally more expensive than normal manual gearboxes, even AUTO ones (except DCT)

This time anupam is wrong. Because most of the bikes rates nowadays are above 1 lakh. And even ola s1 is around 1.2 lakh. So price is not a big deal if they launch this bike in 1.5-2 lakh.

electric vehicle itself is a scam, 200km range seriously ?, tata nexon which is a bigger vehicle with bigger 30kw battery is able to only give 250km real world range, and this piece of joke is claiming to give 200km of real world range. even their website is blank about their product. they just wanted investors and people's money through so called booking amount and gradually vanish from market.
