It's just been one of those weeks. Good and bad have really been in balance, but we just realized that our battery isolator to charge our batteries has gone kaput.
We've been hiding out in the Kaibab National Forest near Grand Canyon, Arizona enjoying some beautiful views, weather, and wildlife. We hope this video helps with your future trip to the Grand Canyon, but more than anything just get out and go!

And about this: "When it's not one thing it's another"...yes...I have a house and it never stops. I have to view it as a wonder-filled aspect of the journey (at least I try) or I'd go crazy:) Thank you for sharing your journey!
I can’t believe the crowds at the Grand Canyon.
Our introduction to the South Rim was the east entrance 20 years ago. The views are spectacular. We make all the stops from the Desert Tower to the village. It was a wonderful introduction to the park.

One question. When you leave Paco and Jake in the van as you go on your hikes, how do you insure their safety? From the van overheating? From the van getting too cold?
I’ve recently heard of a system called “MyWaggle” that will keep you informed of all things you need to know about their environment while you are away from the van. I have no personal experience with it but it might be worth checking out. Anything for the boys, right?!

Hi guys, love your videos. This is so random, but I am a solo female van life. I have only had my van for two weeks. If anyone can help me with this question I would appreciate it. To plug anything in I have to turn on my inverter. However, every time I turn it in it keeps beeping and beeping and then it goes to just a full blown alarm like beeping.lol. I’m just confused. Any suggestions. Thank you so much

How about using a portable electronic fence for your dogs? it creates an adjustable radius around where ever you place the device, not sure the wattage, but not too expensive for the device and collars
