Adding Custom Browser Docks In OBS - Twitch Chat, Channel Points Reward Queue AND MORE!

- Browser docks are so handy for having any URL present in OBS. Today i take a look at how to add a lot of Twitch docks. I know most of these are already available in the latest release of OBS but certain ones such as the Channel Point Reward Queue are not. So stay tuned to see how to add them!

Great Video. My chat and activity feed were always on my obs and one day they just disappeared. they werent even on my docs anymore. This is literally exactly what i needed

So did everything that you said and when I tried to use it in obs studio the pop up says access denied I have all pop ups on twitch allowed but still wont work.
Gonna switch over to OBS studios from stream elements after reading all your stuff haha

I actually make a browser dock for the main twitch page for signing in so that way you can set the dark mode theme which applies to the channel reward dock too so it all looks similar.
Only make the dock visible to sign in and then turn it off.
I used to have this working but after a fresh windows install the channel points dock refuses to dark mode and I cannot figure out why. I did what you did but it just wont go dark mode even though everything else is.
@@bodyfi4726 Have you tried deleting your channel rewards dock, logging in on your login dock, dark mode, then create your rewards queue dock? Maybe it's not refreshing the settings.
@@Barboron I did yeah. In that order too. I had it reset once or twice back to light mode on the old setup too so I figured I'd get it working again here as well but no luck. Only thing I can think of that I haven't tried is uninstalling obs and cleaning all the settings I can think of and attempting it again.
EDIT: Alright so after playing around with it for awhile and deleting the obs browser dock folder in appdata I figured out the problem. Turns out if you turn on dark mode on the dashboard page (which is what I had docked) it only turns on dark mode for chat and everything else in the dashboard and youd think it would do the channel points page too right? Wrong.
I just had to add the twitch homepage as a dock and turn dark mode on from there and that fixed it... The small details man.

how do I log out of the docks?
I have to switch between my own channel and a different channel I manage for work, and want to be able to log out but don't see any way to do it
My Twitch Docks don't seem to auto update, like the stats doesn't update viewers or the stream timer

If it’s a twitch dock you’ll need to just add twitch.tv as a dock and log in first! Then your other docks will work! Thanks a lot Jakub, glad you’re enjoying them!

Nice. Is it possible to do the same thing with Facebook Live? I believe FB changed how their chat box works on browsers (I tend to use Chrome). I think they removed the link associated with their chat box.
As long as you can find the URL it can be! I have never used Facebook so I couldn’t tell you. But you can put in any URL :)
Hey Galo Guevara, were u able to find a solution to your query ? I am also looking for a similar solution for myself.
So everything works great, except when I try to add my reward queue I get a window telling me I don't have access to the queue, only streamers and moderators can modify the requests queue. I'm assuming this is because it's not registering that I'm logged in on Twitch, but it seems that chat and the activity feed docks work fine. I tried closing the pre-made chat dock and adding a custom one to attempt to have to log in, but it bypassed the login requirement and it didn't help my queue issue. Any suggestions?
Good to hear man! So what id do in that situation is create a new custom browser dock for the twitch website itself. Make sure I’m logged in there then restart the requests queue dock. That should fix your issue!

You got a workaround for using a google service that's login requires javascript for a dock? You would be my hero if you did.

@@Andilippi Well, the best I could come up with was to create a new google account inside OBS so it wont require 2sv and you can transfer what you need from your other google accounts.

@@Andilippi Using google voice to take phone calls on the air. I was missing calls using a separate window so integrating it into obs was ideal. Unfortunately, I can't give google control of the mic from the OBS browser so I can't use the dock to answer. :-(
WHERE IS THE DOCK BROWSER FOR MAC?
The OBS devs are still working on this feature for Mac OS X at the moment 🙂

I got a question : can I make the chat like without a background or custom it , and make it scroll by itself out of the app ? (On OBS )

You can create things like that in StreamLabs or inside of StreamElements :)

Everytime i close and open OBS my docks are smaller and i have to drag them to get the right size. It is incredible annoying. Does somebody have an advice please?

Trying to figure out the use for this... 🤔
People use it for chat, Twitter, live preview of stream. There’s so many use cases. If you use random viewer selectors etc. Rather than having your web browser open, you can just stick everything inside OBS making it easier to manage!
All my docks get places on top never to the side ? any help
It can be very temperamental! You just need to keep attempting to move them, there isn't like an easy fix to it

OBS.live is the same thing as OBS just with mor fetures. It's not removing anythis so you don't have a disadvantage. Its just a addon

Wrong. The only reason I havnt swapped over is because OBS doesn't have selective recording
