The shaka. It's an important gesture. It's one little hand signal designed to share good vibes that says a lot about who you are and how you're approaching this funky little world we inhabit. As such, we asked the world's best surfers to put the issue to bed. First time I ever saw a shaka was arriving in town in the 80's, walking to check the surf and Buttons drives by and throws a huge shaka out the window! Best welcome ever

I have no idea what it is but it manifested spontaneously today when i had a groove on to Fela Kuti 's afro beat. It feels great like the thumb is for instinct and lill' finger for inspiration and communication. It's yoga for hands ;make ur mind light up. I put a wrist roll on it or snap it side-ways from the wrist with lill' finger forward and back. ..Feels like it neutralises/over-flies the devil hand-sign with fore-finger&no thumb=Fun.
