These are awesome, seriously. I sometimes make a playlist of reviews or interesting videos to play in the background while I clean the house, do laundry, etc. These super long compilations are great for that so thanks for making them
I so appreciate the reviews you do on this channel. I grew up playing SNES and had a couple of bad experiences renting games I knew absolutely nothing about. Because of that, I stuck to a fairly limited selection of platformers and racing games. Your channel has introduced me to so many awesome games I missed out on as a kid, but have been able to track down and play since discovering your channel a few years ago. Thanks for the fun videos!
Hell yeah, I just got done rewatching the last 10 hours of reviews. Thanks for another great video! You inspire me to get into playing games and doing reviews.
I was already 18 by the time the Mega Drive was released and, although I could have afforded a SNES as well, it just wasn’t anywhere near as popular on my side of the Atlantic. Just something I’d occasionally be aware of if 8 ever bought a multi-format magazine. And I honestly never realised the SNES library was so vast and diverse… at 52 years old, I’m now discovering what I missed out on, thanks to this video and the 10 hour one. Each one of these reviews is so concise, to the point, and without any hint of the childish “console wars” that really didn’t help, back in the day. Thank you, sincerely, for this.
I don’t know why the 11 hour video exists, but I love it. I wish I wasn’t falling asleep right now because I would keep listening. You’re the best fam. Keep it up.

I finished binge watching whole channel a month ago. And now this... Still going to watch/listen to it, there is something relaxing and fun about the way Alex reviews games. Thanks, man! Cheers! Edit: The dogs at the end! =)
@@agentchris1482 I also recommend a channel called 'TV - Quantum Universe'. Doesn't matter what you think of science, the guy just has the perfect voice for going to sleep listening to.
I have been listening to your playlist of relaxing SNES tracks. You have a great selection, and I hope you continue to find more of those tracks. I wouldn't be upset if you run out of SNS titles and move on to relaxing N64 titles. ... I assume the Sega Genesis doesn't have that many hours of relaxing music though.
MMX3 Kaiser Sigma is just hilariously overpowered. He would be easy(ish) if he didn't have missiles that deny safe areas. Not to mention you can only get hit about 5 times with the armor upgrade, 3 times without. At max heart tanks. And that is AFTER Captain America Sigma who is the most oppressive first form boss in all of Mega Man. A shield that blocks projectiles that he also throws at ludicrous speed for huge damage, flame shots that have 3 different heights AND deny your ability to wall climb, and a jump attack that cross you up. It's absolutely brutal and will cause most casual players just give up.
As an half italian and half german kid back in the early '90, I discovered MArio's Picross for the gameboy and I had to figure out by myslef how to play, since game back then weren't localized. I fell in love with the gameplay and I've played every picross game I could put my hands on. I'ts a shame that there are no new Picross 3D like on the DS/3DS today...
I like these compilation type videos, they give me ideas for games I night want to try out, I'll listen to them while I'm playing a game and make notes about games that I haven't played before. I tend to prefer retro games more than newer games that are on today's current consoles. Most of the new games these days seem to be so uninspired and/or buggy, glitchy many of which need various patches downloaded to fix all the issues, or to be able to access the entire game, the retro games were the full game, and most were minimal glitches, and you don't need internet access to play them....Many of today's games even have a requirement that the console or computer is connected to the internet too....Ah the good old days when you bought a game, you got the whole game, it was repeatedly tested before it was put on sale, and it came with various things, like an instruction manual, and maps and you were ready to play it. 😁
holy cow i thought i was the only person that ever played Lester The Unlikely! rented it from Blockbuster once and SUUUUUCKED at it...but man the music on that first level was jammin
I can prove you right actually. I rented Hagane back in the day from my local non blockbuster video store and remember seeing it on sale at my local AJ video games and toys. I was really considering picking it up instead of Super Metroid but went with Super Metroid.
7:20:17 David Cronenberg? HP Lovecraft? I think "Rob Bottin", "Rick Baker" or "Chris Walas" would be better examples, but yeah, I know, who the hell knows who Rob Botting, Rick Baker or Chris Walas even are, right..?
I always laugh when you do a quick from a name that is something else, like when the characters name is Corona and you say no not that Corona i love those
13:30 I literally was playing Street fighter 2 turbo earlier today on snes and m bison is def a pain.., but I have more of a problem with Sagat… My main strategy is jumping forward kick and can’t do it against him or if I do, Tiger uppercut and it takes a fourth of my health. Can’t help it..
@SNESdrunk dont know if you'd heard of it but ps1 racing lagoon got an english patch. its gran turismo 1 meets rpg with a micro machine map spread on 4 regions. its not perfect but damn i love it.

Unlike movies & T.V. shows, video games never give me problems with plot problems. Tbh😄
holy cow i thought i was the only person that ever played Lester The Unlikely! rented it from Blockbuster once and SUUUUUCKED at it...but man the music on that first level was jammin
SNESdrunk time
Snes drunk you sir are amazing thank you !
A mention about Donkey Kong Country.
Cranky Kong is Donkey Kong from the original game, and Donkey Kong is the grown-up Donkey Kong Jr.
I can prove you right actually. I rented Hagane back in the day from my local non blockbuster video store and remember seeing it on sale at my local AJ video games and toys.
I was really considering picking it up instead of Super Metroid but went with Super Metroid.
This is an amazing surprise

MORE....give me more SNES Drunk
7:20:17 David Cronenberg? HP Lovecraft? I think "Rob Bottin", "Rick Baker" or "Chris Walas" would be better examples, but yeah, I know, who the hell knows who Rob Botting, Rick Baker or Chris Walas even are, right..?

Don’t sleep on Peco. A LITTLE bit of planning can turn him into a beast
I always laugh when you do a quick from a name that is something else, like when the characters name is Corona and you say no not that Corona i love those

I literally was playing Street fighter 2 turbo earlier today on snes and m bison is def a pain.., but I have more of a problem with Sagat… My main strategy is jumping forward kick and can’t do it against him or if I do, Tiger uppercut and it takes a fourth of my health. Can’t help it..
I rented Hagane all the time, and have never even been to a Blockbuster Video.
Yes! I needed this.
LOL was not expecting to see Age of Mythology embedded in a SNES review channel
Love your content!
@SNESdrunk dont know if you'd heard of it but ps1 racing lagoon got an english patch. its gran turismo 1 meets rpg with a micro machine map spread on 4 regions. its not perfect but damn i love it.
Blockbuster was England too not just Ireland. I grew up in London with a Blockbuster on the high street
Check out Energy Breaker, there was currently an English patch or whatever you call it
WOw that waterfall scene in Dragon quest 3 is alot like the scene where Sabin and Cyan jump of the waterfall after the ghost train..
Classic 💪🏾
My friend had Star Gate and we both beaten it. I loved it cause I saw a movie before playing it.
I remember Killer Instinct on SNES being $100+ at launch. I don't remember any other game being that much.
