The first 3 to 4 weeks were the worst for me. You should start feeling better soon. I'm 2 months in now. I'm on a very low dose of 5MG. I want to take the least amount possible and even at 5MG I feel like it has helped me. These types of drugs build up slowly so I feel it's important to take notice of small changes. @@Littleprell The side effects were most noticeable in the first month. For me the first 2 weeks were the worst. I had dizzy spells and increased anxiety. Week 3 not as bad and week 4 most of the side effects had tapered off. I'm glad I stuck it out, life still isn't perfect but I feel my anxiety and depression are much more manageable.

Hi people, I am older then most others on here probably, so it affected me a little differently. I am 56. It has caused me more problems with menopause then what I was had so I had to stop using it, but that's about it as far as bad side effects from it. I did have problems with my stomach but taking a good probiotic stopped that quickly. It took about 2 months for it too work real well at 10mg. I felt very good if I had bee younger I would of stayed on it. What was very nice also most women won't talk about is that it did not cause me any sexual problems. Other antidepressants have in the past. So I would say this is one of the best ones 🤗

I'm 4 months in. My doctor started me at 10mg and it did great for a couple weeks and then I was starting to get an overload of stress and anxiety was coming back, but manageable but my doctor moved my Lexapro up to 20mg 2 1/2 weeks ago and it seems like I got more tired and like I had a little more anxiety with it. My doctor now has me taking my Lexapro at night instead of the morning. Did you have to go through a couple dose changes until you found the right one? Did you have similar aide effects with dose changes?

Thank you! FINALLY a video that didn't make me feel worse and gave me hope. Now hoping to one day find a video of someone with a success story coming off the drug... Basically where it put them back to normal, they tapered off and they STAYED fixed. A bit concerning that there isn't a single account anywhere on the internet of anyone doing this that ive been able to find... considering that seems to be the point of this drug (you go on it for a year minimum it rewires you and then you are supposed to be good to wean off) If you know of any success story's like that let me know. But again thank you. (ps. On week 2, Just starting to feel the positive effects in the afternoons mostly))
Im down to 5 mg and life is still back to normal. I'm thinking I'm going to do 5 for a few more months then talk to my doc about coming off completely. I'll keep everyone posted when that time comes

@@janisjansons5707 we are talking about side effects from high dosage drug use. Start at very low dose and none of these issue will be major factor. Though I find even on small dose of around 1mg I have too much energy and not easy to sleep.I do find though it helps my mood at even this small dose.
I just started it yesterday and I have fluttering in my chest and shortness of breath but I try sitting and doing deep breath and it helps me regulate it. I truly feel like I am on MDMA honestly, very similar side effects is what I am feeling as weird as that it but Seritonine!

Some doctor gave me these some time ago like if it was candy. I drank a bit and stopped in a week. I didnt know anything about the medicine. I think that messed me up

It just takes me longer to reach orgasm, otherwise its the same. And even that is decreasing now
Takes for ever for me to reach orgasm and sweat like hell
How much mgs do you take?
13.5 weeks on 10mg. Going up to 12.5mg on Monday. Tough splitting that dose evenly am and pm. It is not easy cutting a 10mg pill into 6 pieces ugg.

whats pssd?.i take a tiny dose per day or everyother day a pill 5mg broken into quarters and it works well at such a small dose.
