Beautiful and moving. Jeffrey's vibrant work is energizing and though-provoking. My good friend worked with Jeffrey to make this effort come alive. It's amazing how much love and sweat goes into such a presentation. Well done, Mr. Gibson!
I just an ordinary lady artist that agrees the Indigenous people have not been recognized and celebrated enough. The punching bags were a brilliant canvas for your message. Sending love and prayers!
I love this work!!!! It’s brilliant and beautiful and amazing…really super gorgeous…wish I could have forty of those beaded birds…bravo, Jeffrey!!!! I’m your fan for life!!!! ❤️🧡💜♥️🩷💙🩵💛💚🧡❤️🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨✨✨✨
It's worth mentioning that Gibson also represents the LGBTQIA+ community. Queer artists have also been marginalized, or their sexuality simply ignored. I saw one of his exhibits several years ago at The Brooklyn Museum. He's a truly phenomenal artist. We should be proud to have him represent the USA in the Biennale.
if he identified solely as a native American he would still be pigeon holed, being an artist allows him the identity he wants- he gets to be an individual
I really don’t get his art . It’s not particularly pleasing to the eye and I think his story behind it is a bit all over the place . There is far better Native American art out there with real meaning.
@@HenriettaHudson-we4wv this is my opinion. The real question is why did my opinion trigger you ? I don’t think I was particularly rude in my comment and I won’t apologize for it . Might I suggest you develop a thicker skin .
WOW! Love all the vivid colors. Speaks of life and passion. 🙌👏🏼🎉
Congratulations Jeffrey! And everyone who helps him bring his visions forward! Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!
Brilliant, art is not something 'to get' ! Fantastic, wonderful, worthy, work.
You are so right about that! The best way to “get” art is to buy it and take it home. I love art! 😎💛

Go Jeffrey!! I'm part Choctaw /Black and white and I feel your spirit! Keep Climbing! Love from Texas! So Proud of YOU!
punching bag as canvas speaks volumes 💓 so profound and poignant 💞 love and respect from the Philippines 🙌
IKR? So clever.

Representation is very important. If someone sees someone who looks like them, they know they too can do anything.
This would be thrilling to see in person.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌹
Stunning and well deserved.
Absolutely stunning art, I love the use of colour and pattern!
Beautiful and thought-provoking. Thanks, Jeffrey !

Beautiful catharsis in color
love the reclaiming of those boxing bags
Wonderful. Tearful
Interesting and colorful art. I like that it doesn't seem to be antagonistic. We don't need more resentment and division.

Choctaw Nation in the House. Tuskahoma Talihina OK 🌻✨️💚🫶
We went to the Venice Biennale in 2011. Some of the works are great. Some are confusing and questionable.
Aho!

All These words are words that have been said before ...I want to be represented ... NO One says it any other way ...Same Old .... just my opinion 😊😅
why is everything so complicated with race?
He comes across as upset?
Most great artists are emotional in some way. Look at Vincent van gogh

Silence is golden.
Who are you to dictate what is art and what isn't art???? There are many varieties of Native American art!!!!

I think it's beautiful. All art is beautiful 😍 a true artist sees beauty in all art .
@@Bebedollie and I respect your opinion. I don’t agree with it but I do respect it
