I personally blame Invel on that. If he hadn't used his magic on Mavis, she could have had an interaction with August when all the 12 reunited in front of the guildhall, something that happened after Irene used her Universe One and Cana freed Mavis from the lacrima.
My theory about why August is so powerful is basically because he was born from 'love', as mentioned many times emotions gives magic a power boost and love is the most powerful, when he was conceived, in that moment Mavis and Zeref truly loved each other, so their love plus both their curse made August super powerful
And spoiler alert…
Maybe Sherria got to use a bit of magic again in the end is because she's talented AND she's full of love / is a very loving person

I know the flashback to the fight with Jacob against Natsu and Lucy with Mavis watching can be a little confusing and decieving about her plan for Zeref but it was meant to indicate that's when she realize the true connection and LOVE that Natsu and Lucy share and figures that is how she can defeat Zeref. Because originally it was their mutual love and Zeref's stronger love at the time that resulted in the eventual birth of August and put Mavis into that coma like state for almost a 100 years. She realizes that if she fully and truly accepts her feelings and Zeref does the same than they may potentially be able to defy and overpower the curse of contridiction which made them immortal and incapable of love typically since it killed all who did, was a curse that originated from love, defiance of fate and unaccepted death, and potentially end their suffering and cursed long lives. Mavis got that idea from watching Natsu and Lucy fight Jacob since she could see their connection and tell their true feelings of LOVE for one another.

I think it's more of "what did I do to deserve this fate. Why can't I be loved?" He can't tell his parents and he understands why, but that doesn't change the fact that he still wants to be loved and did nothing to deserve such fate.

Думаю, в Хвосте Феи нашлись бы те, кто смог позаботиться об Августе, для этого необязательно раскрывать тайну его рождения... Или это было нужно из-за огромной силы ребёнка? Ведь неизвестно, что можно было ожидать от ребёнка самого Зерефа, вдруг он был бы опасен, но от этого не менее грустно... Мне очень больно из-за всей этой истории, я бы хотела лучшей жизни для Августа

no lie august story rush is one of the thign i hate the most about the end august is so good character and i'm sad is no full is story
The author really doesn't know how to make bring out the emotions out of people's heart. Eventhough he knows how to creat those moments. August's story could have been the most emotional one in all of Fairy Tail but he just destroyed it by rushing without any reason.

If zeref can obliterate his demons just like that, he can do it to natsu also. So zeref is basically playing with natsu.
Partly no, Zeref's demons are 100% Ethereal, the book is inside their cuperos, you could say that the book is its sealed form. That's not the case with Natsu, he has his own body. He could kill Natsu but he should destroy the book.

One thing I dislike about this episode and just the moment in general. Jellal, Erza, Wendy and everything behind them for like 10kms should be gone. Jellal is powerful, I know that much but I don't see him blocking a magical attack from Acnologia of all people.

@sammeenien538 Jellal would absolutely beat Laxus. And has canonically beaten Erza who is still stronger than Natsu. And the only reason he lost to Natsu was because of very specific circumstances. Jellal beat four of the Oracion Seis solo who all needed to be teamed up on by the Alliance. Laxus beat Raven Tail who consistently needed to cheat to win. And got oneshot easily.
Gildarts>Jellal>Erza=Laxus>Natsu. Deal with it.

I still stand by that out of everyone, Irene likely had the best chance, August too depending. Yes he immune to magic but the physical impact would be another thing. As we seen with the clash between him and Irene, the magic might not hurt him but it still pushed him around. Think of it like a Sand Storm. the Wind doesn't hurt you but the Sand that the wind is pushing does.
