year 686-791, that's a good 105 years. So all those treasure hunters and old guys who were there at the founding of Fairy Tail are all well over 100 years old. I think people in this world simply live longer than we do, probably because of all the magic going around and such.
Even Fairy Tail has not the best story writing but it's an exception for this one... Fairy Tail Zero is one of the best prologue arc anime of all time... Hiro Mashima has a potential but somehow he is always drifting apart and makes the writing become so inconsistent

Look back at the first episode. When their names are on screen Mavis has an age, Zera doesn't.

After watching all their reactions so far, this is probably the arc that made Faxx laugh and get excited the most, maybe because it's just so awesome.

They also did it for each episode of the anime, with the 0 fading and an A in the last episode.
