My grandmother taught me how to crochet back in the late 80's when I was home sick from school. I still crochet today at 45. Grandma said since I know that, I'll always be able to keep myself warm. I expanded into knitting too.
Thank you!!! I had a very rough 2024. I needed this reminder to slow down, rest, work on something that got overlooked, and to eat something yummy. I also felt like I came over to your house and got to hang out with you, Alesio, and the cat. Thank you for that too! 🧡🧡🧡🧡
Our local library has the most adorable "Hygge at Home" program. The librarian makes project kits and every month my 10yo daughter and I get to pick up our kits and make a little Hygge item for our home! We are major library rats around here.
Love to see more of your guys' lives! And it felt so calming 😊 Like if I need a video to watch before bed, this would be perfect since it's fun but the music and asmr moments are really peaceful
I knew you were cool when me and my mom started watching you and alessio but I really think that me and you are kindred spirits I have been obsessed with the Romanov’s since I was a kid I love knitting and sewing and crocheting just got to get back into it Sending love ❤️ from Niagara Falls New York USA side from me and my mom My mom says absolutely love you guys so much ❤ I have been praying for you both for your hearts desire of having a child. All Things are possible with God ❤
I would love to “hibernate “ during the cold months, unfortunately my job is so busy at that time. But I do try to relax at least one day on the weekend. The Little Book of Hygge is a nice cozy “tradition “
Love your new channel. I get in a seasonal funk and I love the idea of wintering. I want to see the temperature blanket you are working on. I want to make one for my son.
Thanks for sharing some of your passions! Your use of hygge in your home turned out wonderful! You have inspired me to find some fabric at our neighbourhood second hand store and recover a pillow that I have. I have also picked up crocheting and find it relaxing. I am enjoying learning something new. We don't have snow yet here on the southwest coast of Canada but we sure do have rain and gloomy skies! Good to have candles and the hygge feeling :)
Love everything about your new channel Jessi. Love crochet, sewing, cooking, decorating and painting. So looking forward to your videos! - Leslie W. (in eastern Tennessee!)
Sending love from a much warmer down under. I really enjoyed seeing all these activities and the little tutorials, I could have watched a much longer video on it all! Great cinematic shots, making me really crave winter vibes here. I look forward to seeing more :D
My favorite author is Phillipa Gregory! I own every one of her books. Love medieval literature and history. I also do crocheting and sewing. Working right now on curtains for my kitchen. Dark, reddish burgundy... almost paprika looking in color. I'm thinking of doing a matching tablecloth or a runner as well. It will match my dishes and Lagostina pots and pans. Working on a farmhouse look to the kitchen. I love the fact that you've made this channel. I would do something myself. I have good days and bad days with my speech. It wasn't dealt with until recently. The doctors figured, what was wrong. So, I'm waiting for a call on rhat. It's all good.❤ Back to sewing!🪡🧵⛴️
I love Phillipa Gregory too, but I’ve only read a few of her books. Which is your favorite? The curtains sound so lovely. I’ve been loving all things burgundy lately and the farmhouse vibe you mentioned is exactly what I want to bring into ours as well! So much in common! I hope everything is well with you medically. Sending a big hug!
I love this video. Relaxing & warm. Cant wait to try your cake. Looks delicious😊love the pillow covers as well. Make a bunch of colors so you can change them out with the seasons or whenever you want to 🫶
Thanks for all the good ideas! I’m currently organizing my house bath room first and then a couple of weeks the kitchen and also doing decor ideas that I want to do. The books and baking are also helpful it these cold snowy days. 📚🍞
I had to laugh...my daughter was working on a fabric project and she mopped the floor to work down there (too big for a table), laid out the fabric...and... our 65lb Shepard decided it was the perfect place to get some attention and nap. BTW, the bookcase looks GREAT!! Nice work ❤. We were so disappointed. We were supposed to get snow too, but it was only sleet and freezing rain. I was so sad, but we still baked cookies and made a pot of corn chowder.
😂 animals always have to be in the middle! And thank you about the bookcase. I’m finally at peace with it haha. Glad you guys still made the freezing rain cozy!
I loveeee this! It's my ideal content. I'm recovering from chronic illness flare and burnout so this resonated with me. I would love to see how you make your beautiful dresses :)
I have watched 1 minute and I already love this. Best idea of the year. Edit. And I'm Danish and yes we "hygger' all year round but mostly in the dark period.
I love this new channel!!! Thanks so much for posting! My wife and I always love watching the adventures of Jessi and Alessio! I just made a triple batch of spiced banana bread since I had SO many overripe bananas in the freezer. Your Spiced Applesauce Bread looks DELISH!
Hi Jessi! Thanks for sharing this lovely video & your family's cozy moments. The one thing I should mention as a Ukrainian - given the current war in Ukraine and the immense suffering it has caused, I believe it's not the right time to promote or engage with russian culture in any form. It’s a moment to stand in solidarity with those who are fighting for their freedom and identity. Apologies if I bothered you. I really enjoy your content - please keep creating it!
I crochet too. And I am making my first temperature item as well. For this year. I turn 50. It’s going to be smaller than a blanket so more of a wall hanging!
Love that video! So funny because im looking to sew pillowcases for the first time for my living room since my husband uses sleeping pillows whenever he reclines so i wanted to have permanent sleeping pillows in the living room with a more decorative case for it rather than the standard thin simple one.
The video I didn't know I needed today. ❤ I can't wait to see more of your videos and see a different perspective than the videos on your other channel. 😊
I decorate the house with pillows and blankets too during January, then February I decorate for Valentine and March for St. Patrick's to keep color around and happy. I also like to read in the winter.
@Jessi.Pasini I’ve always enjoyed the videos you and Alessio make, but your voice is so soothing. I could watch you for hours, I watched this with my boys and they enjoyed your video too. Your bookcase styling was done very well, I am a huge fan of books and bookcases but with the styling, I could use some pointers. Your pillow covers also came out lovely. I’m jealous seeing your snow there, where we live in Arizona is 5000 feet up a mountain and this is the first winter we haven’t had any snow yet. Hopefully we’ll get some soon. I feel like we could be kindred spirits and friends. Thanks for making such a cozy video. ❤
Thank you so much Jessi for this very cozy vlog. I loved & enjoyed it a lot! I‘m a passionate crocheter and would love to see your projects! Maybe you can add them to one of your next vlogs😊 Greetings from a small mountain town in Switzerland🇨🇭
I know this channel is more focused on the "Jessi things" but I'd love to know what you all grow in your garden space? I do a good bit of container gardening and I'm always interested in what other folks have growing.
Just remember that there is no rule about when to take down the Christmas decorations. In Poland we keep them up till the first week of February, so why not do it the Polish way and feel cozy for longer ;-)?
This is a great video and some really good ideas for the home. I am interested in making your bread but I can't find the recipe in the description and I checked a few times. Please repost 😊 and TY!
Lovely video! I also love to sew, although I mainly make quilts, which I LOVE! 🥰 Which serger did you get for Christmas? I am thinking about asking for one this year! It would be a wonderful addition to my sewing room!
I really want to get into quilting! I started by sewing clothes and now I’m getting more into homey things. Quilting is definitely on my list! The serger I got is the Baby Lock Vibrant. I LOVE it!
Love you so much Jessi...we sure have a lot of empathy...I feel you could be a great friend...when you're coming to Italy 🇮🇹come and visit me...porta Alessio ❤
Book recommendation: If you enjoy reading about nature, I can't recommend Bernd Heinrich enough. A professor of Biology at the University of Vermont, his books "Winter World" and "Summer World" will open your eyes to so many hidden miracles of the natural world. He has many other books, too. Great video! Looking forward to more.

Thank you for sharing your life with your tube family. A good reminder that it is ok to have days to do nothing but relax and enjoy the life we have.
Love the vibes! Thank you for such a comforting video :)
