Fitting 20mm Front Wheel Spacers to Ash's MK6 Fiesta ST150 | Hub Spacers

  • Last summer I fitted 20mm rear axle spacer from Anembo Engineering, then my friend Ash fitted 28mm rear spacers to his ST and he's been obsessed with them, so much so that he decided he also wanted to space the front wheels out as well. So in this video we fit 20mm front wheel/hub spacers to Ash's car - sounds easy in principal but unfortunately it wasn't as straightforward as we'd hoped and we had to crack the angle grinder out. On top of that we were working out in this storm that's been plaguing the entire country but it was all worth it in the end and Ash's car is looking amazing now, the wheel fitment on the standard alloys is insane with the 35mm lowering springs. And now I've seen Ash's, I want to do the same on my car!
I hope you enjoy the video.
If you want some 4D road plates like Ash's, or some custom show plates then go check out @am_plates on instagram: am_plates?...
Unfortunately Ash bought his spacers secondhand so I don't have a link but they are Barbarian 20mm Hubcentric spacers in 4x108 fitment, a quick Google should get you there

25mm fit perfect all round no cutting or nothing just bolt on and go. had them on mine. All I would do is roll front arches

want to get 10mm front and 15mm back on mine since the front is naturally wider it needs less spacing out then get 25mm lower springs think it would look mint

Looking good! How long till you get front spacers?

Thinking about doing this to mine and if you use tipex/liquid paper it shows better so you can see who much to cut off
Update: the biggest they do now is 20mm rear axle spacers

Can't believe you haven't mentioned this, and that nobody's asked.
How do the spacers affect handling / tramlining etc?

I've got a set of Weller wheels I'm going to fit (the formula ford design with the holes, like pepper pots, not the star design ones) they're 7x15 and ET18. I've had a look on willtheyfit and it says that they'll poke out 36mm more than the standard.
The difference being that my wheels aren't the standard st150 wheels, they're off a lower spec fiesta so the offset is crap.
Could someone tell me what the ET of your wheels are please?

Not to worry, I've just found the specs.
So the lip of the wheel will poke out 7mm more than your 28mm mods.
I think I'm gonna get some 195/50/15s for a nice stretch to avoid rubbing.
      What coilovers do you have?
I used to have HSDs on my BMW'S but they don't do them for these little cars.

I’ve ordered some of these and they’re arriving later today. But I’m disappointed that the original threads need cutting. Is that a must do thing to install these?

Idk it seems a little wrong to have to cut the original threads down

I was surprised, you may get away with just filing the dome off of the top of your original stud before the thread starts, we didn’t have the patience with the weather being as bad as it was though 🙃

      @MendItModIt  2 роки тому

@@tomboi123live I guess if they’re 20mm spacers and the studs are 21mm long there’s not a lot you can do 🥴 it is annoying though

Thanks for the replies. Is the Colorado Red one lowered or is that standard ride height?

@@MendItModIt yeah I bet! Would the wheels and bolts go back on fine if he decided to remove the spacers? Also a vid later down the line showing how they’ve held up and if they’re causing any complications etc would be lovely

Filing backwards wont cut as well as forwards, just a tip to save you a bit of time and effort.
