@@mkulchar do you use a 2nd monitor? throw up the wiki for elden ring and its all detailed showing you where to find every single one. without looking them up i found 11..
can also take some points out of vigor and go 45 vigor and youll have 14 points. id put 8 into faith and then you can use the red lighting storm spell (also has a talisman that buffs this in dlc now). technically you can put the remaining 6 into vigor or put them into arcane as 80 is the hardcap. youll just be getting more damage. keep in mind in this video he is using millicents so that gives 5+ to dex so his dex is actually 13. this gives you access to being able to one shot using faith spell and then also one shot using dragon breath spells. stat wise it gives you alot of versatility with incants and bleed builds.
Between Miquella trying to create his own version of The Infinite Tsukuyomi and now a fang over fang ash of war. I feel a heavy Naruto influence and not just Berserk and I love it
I did a similar build but with pure arcane and an occult flamberge and damn it slaps so hard and makes you literally immortal with Malenia's great rune.
+1 for this build. Built this and holy shit, does it ship the damage. I don't even have the flask physic setup and just beat Messmer on my third try. JFC this build is sick. Thank you.
You can also equip that ash to the greatsword. Put heavy on it an grease it up or use incantations on it for w.e situation cuz bleed isn't always the go to for certain bosses
Definitely would love a lightning build using one of the new items that boosts dragon cult skills/incantations. There's an armor set but also a consumable item you can use that boost them.
Great Katana is op. I've used it since I found it. Storm blade aow is op on it also. I've beat every boss with it. Well I haven't fought the final boss yet but soon as I'm finished getting everything I will. Bayle went done fast. Just got to build right.

Hey pwar i love your build videos since nioh 1 but you forgot to mention that using your off hand roar skills and putting it away makes the buff get disabled. Roar skills counts as weapon buff and if you use a weapon buff you need to have them equipped at all times that means if you want shriek of sorrow buff to be active you need to one hand great katana and have the weapon that has the roar buff equipped your off hand. Great build regardless.
Dont know if you saw in a recent post, but it seems to only apply to that specific weapon you use on. I.e only the curved sword is getting the buff, not the great katana....which is honestly a bummer lol @@PWARGaming
great build ive been using very similar build just instead of great katana i use the fire knight great sword instead . can still use the same ash of war and gets good bleed and fire damage

Bro. I did a similar build setup but didn't level faith to 25, only 15 for FGMS. Golden vow is now a craftable consumable so those 10 points can go into Dex or vigor
@@lunarhostility Yes of course. And I hate farming for the materials. But if you get the new bell bearings it should make it easier. And to be honest, I'm fond of using dagger as well, but some builds are so min/maxxed that they can't even carry a dagger.
What starting class did you use for this build? Im using a build calculator and it says the lowest you can get the stats in the video is lvl 155 with prophet
I don't know, but the last boss it very very hard with all these builds, so I am kinda amazed you didn't do a cheezy shield poker build and Lightning Flask with rolling sparks ash is probably the highest DPS build out atm.
I figured I'm a lil late to the party on those, well, I still plan to do a counter build eventually. but sparks is guaranteed to get nerfed, so it'd be wasting time for something thats probably gonna be nerfed in a week from now, and it'd just be echoing what people have already done. tho i guess i could put a spin on it with alternative weapons to use...hmm

One glaring weakness with this build is that its useless at the start of every ng+ because you wont have access to malenias great rune and since malenia is damn near end game it kinda makes this build viable for only one playthrough. Id hate to have to run to fight malenia at the start of every playthrough just to ensure i have my build
Do you think this could work without armor, paired with the dragon transformation? The idea Is to raise attack Power with the Ash of war and talismans and then finish with a huge dragon bite
For the level 200 build variant, putting strength above 54 is just wasting stat points that could go to arcane or something else, at 54 strength, when you two hand your weapon your strength stat will increase to the soft cap of 80
if you want shriek buff you can't 2h your sword now, so my spread maybe even better than intended, so at 54 you'll lose a bit of raw. maybe even worth going to 80 now, then have the shriek buff on top for 10-30% more dmg depending on life lost.

Spinning gravity probs more damage, dragon hunter good against mobs where you can aim for their head as a weak spot/dragons. I’ve done 13k hits with the dragonwound slash against dragons
I didn’t even know great katanas could use this ash, I’ve been using it on my greatsword to insane success. The numbers on this build are higher than mine and I’m level 336. I’m gonna try this out in a bit.
just make sure to 1h the kat after the shriek buff instead of 2h, i didn't so shriek was not even active, so you'd do way more dmg then me depending on hp lost!
Just a thought... I was thinking of doing this but using COLD affinity, it will proc bleed a lot less but with the added debuff from cold wouldn't this be interesting as well? Gives it a different flavor too, instead of the same old "bleed this bleed that" builds.
bro shriek of sorrow is a weapon buff, so it only applies to the weapon itself, it doesn't buff the weapon on your main hand. Miyazaki will scream to you too 4:17 :D
Im using a 200 build with dex and int. Keen on Great katanna then scholars armament then carian sovergnity. I think 2 full ashe bursts then a poke and hippo was dead maybe a 30 second fight.
hit 80 arcane, then you increase dex, mind, and endurance. something like this: eip.gg/elden-ring/build-planner/?buildId=clxz4cq6900a6d4b1z0rp2a3h your dmg wont increase much for the katana, but 23 mind gets you one more skill use of it, and dex increases the other weapons dmg.
2 FALSE INFOS 1. shriek of sorrow dont work when you 2hand the katana 2. cerulean hidden tear only lasts 10sek not 30sek so there are much better tears
Understanding the combinations and what they do is essential in this game, there are so many, I watched many videos and read the elden ring book, some, not everything but still struggle, I have beaten the game and entered the DLC at 443 hours level 291, my built is a rogue and got 4 times 60 in some stats, dexterity is 44, mind 43, I am still getting one shot in bosses and seem not being able to get a weapon to do what lesser level players can, again, one have to understand how the build works; for my level I expended hours on end farming runes to level up the stats as much as I can, I have still 18 tears drops, have not reallocated or rebirth and have not started NG+ as this would make the DLC impossible for me, it is already hard I have beaten couple bosses with some help but currently getting smoked by that avatar tree underground, LOL, no way around it, in some places one gets killed by summoning the mimic ash or as soon as entering the arena, no build is good if you do not have a chance to attack but I am at this point interested in trying other builds because mine even when strong is not doing me so much good with though enemies, signals i should NOT enter NG+ just yet
but is it good for consort radahn? i'd love to try this build out (as i love and run dualwield great katanas), but i mainly want to focus on beating him.
unfortunately the dmg gained would be bad since D scaling. I've increased all the other stats to see if past 55 they would give more dmg than arcane but nope. I also tested with bleed katana that scaled dex with some arcane and it was overall weaker. and as I said g.katana and flamberge are the only occult options, so kinda SOL.
Hello, i wanted to try ur build but i have a probleme ! I have everythings, but when i want to choice a affinity for my weapong (great katana) i just only have Heavy and keen as a choice (i have all whetstone blade) is it normal or iam missing something ?
How do you have all your equipment at +10 or +25? Did you just play through to get the relevant dragon smithing stone to upgrade to max? I've seen a lot of other builds on other channels that also just have so many of their weapons at max strength. How?
search up how to find all the smithing/ancient dragon smithing stone bell bearings. Once you have them, you can buy as many stones you need to upgrade 🤝
@@elijahcalvert5927 Right but that's only for up to +9 or +24. I have all the bell bearings from my initial playthrough. So for the final upgrade to +10 or +25 I can't see any other way other than finding every single ancient smithing/dragon stone through each NG+ playthrough.
Doesn't really work for me, checked with several bosses now... Tha Katana is far too slow for almost all bosses, the Ash doesn't hit most of the time since many bosses are too "high" to hit and the ash always aims low and it has a ridiculous short range, so most of the time it misses. It also doesn't recover health. So most of the time, you end up missing and getting hit yourself or you get hit while you're trying to juggle all those items, buffs and weapons during the fight... Oh yeah: Your specs don't fit with the speels, you need 36 faith for one of the spells.
The great Katana won’t pull up for me when I go to the Ash infuse menu? I just used my last somber smithing stone making the Great Kata 10+, I’m at a loss, as to what I’m doing wrong?

I use banished knight helm woth the red cloth for my Rakshasa builds. Its fashion is so clean.

U need to try the Lightning perfume bottle build, cuz that does like 10-15k damage in 1 hit(prolly a bug)

I could not beat Rahdan after a bunch of tries with this build but I beat literally every other DLC boss pretty easily. +Karma

Sorry but the Shriek of sorrow ash does not stay active when two handing the katana, If you noticed the buff goes off when switching.

Did you find yourself running out of these ever? I used to do the same with a dagger with Golden Vow with sub-25 faith but that has downsides ofc.

Once you switch to the katana it cancels the buff
What about the Fire knights greatsword. at 70 arcane with bleed it does a surprising 165 Bleed.

@@PWARGaming is it nerfed? I can’t infuse the ash to it? When I proc the Ash menu, the Great Kat won’t even show up as an option

Forked greatsword also has innate bleed.
Cerulean Hidden Tear only lasts 10 seconds not 30.
If you need FP just use the CERULEAN-SAPPING CRACKED TEAR instead of the CERULEAN HIDDEN TEAR.

So I guess you didn’t find the tear that drains your HP slowly but gives you 20% to all damage for 3 minutes
I did, but reverted my save to before I killed the giant, so couldn't use it. but yah if you want max damage you can go with that.

unfortunately the dmg gained would be bad since D scaling. I've increased all the other stats to see if past 55 they would give more dmg than arcane but nope. I also tested with bleed katana that scaled dex with some arcane and it was overall weaker. and as I said g.katana and flamberge are the only occult options, so kinda SOL.
Going for perfumer 1 shot build tried this with 2handed sword version, it dies to everything. Sword and board is bettet.

How do you have all your equipment at +10 or +25? Did you just play through to get the relevant dragon smithing stone to upgrade to max? I've seen a lot of other builds on other channels that also just have so many of their weapons at max strength. How?
search up how to find all the smithing/ancient dragon smithing stone bell bearings. Once you have them, you can buy as many stones you need to upgrade 🤝
@@elijahcalvert5927 Right but that's only for up to +9 or +24. I have all the bell bearings from my initial playthrough. So for the final upgrade to +10 or +25 I can't see any other way other than finding every single ancient smithing/dragon stone through each NG+ playthrough.

Doesn't really work for me, checked with several bosses now...
Tha Katana is far too slow for almost all bosses, the Ash doesn't hit most of the time since many bosses are too "high" to hit and the ash always aims low and it has a ridiculous short range, so most of the time it misses. It also doesn't recover health. So most of the time, you end up missing and getting hit yourself or you get hit while you're trying to juggle all those items, buffs and weapons during the fight...
Oh yeah: Your specs don't fit with the speels, you need 36 faith for one of the spells.
I think this build was stealth nerfed pretty bad.
The great Katana won’t pull up for me when I go to the Ash infuse menu? I just used my last somber smithing stone making the Great Kata 10+, I’m at a loss, as to what I’m doing wrong?
Wrong Katana prob. It doesnt use somber stones. You can even see on the video the katana is +25
