I understand what she's saying about losing tension at the bottom but it's funny when she said it would be really hard to get back up as she effortlessly gets back up.

Hi Annie, thanks a lot for this video! I did not know where to place my hands correctly and what to do with my elbows. This is why I was always even afraid to make a handstand. I was only doing headstands and somehow trying to do the kip movement in this position but I was never really sure what I did and if it is right. Now with this video I am sure I can master at last one kip handstand push up and much more in the future :) I love your videos, so many thanks for sharing your knowledge!

What are your thoughts about putting pads under the head to minimize the movement, when practice. Especially when doing strict hspu..?

Tbh I’m not sure why crossfiters always keep their hands so wide from each other doing either push-ups or pull-ups. That simply increases risk of injury and decreases efficiency…

I got a bet going w/ a friend of mine who wants to learn a freestanding HSPU. I say she has to do them facing the wall, she says nope, it hurts her back, it'll just take a little longer to learn.
    Who's right?

Been training CrossFit at this box for 2,5 years and no one has said anything about the distance from the wall….Nor about there being 3(!) Kipling HSPU variations…..
I can’t lock out my arms. Not flexible.

WOW you are buff! Lol I didn't do kipping I was mad cause I mean I can do 1-arm pushups so I did regular but it was just like 2 reps and I can do more 1-arm pushups but that's with less weight cause doesn't include legs I guess and derp. Dang u must eat your weight in protein every day huh? I've never done that and guess I should start or I'll continue to be angry about being a man that's weaker than a woman. LOL several woman even not just u. I made a video u can see on this channel trying to do these and it just became a comedy video cause I was doing the thing that u say in this video not to do and didn't keep the tension and I was trying to start the rep from the bottom not the top and yes I know TOTALLY wrong. Then I saw this and got mad and did it the way u recommended LOL I'm still fuming. :P

Yeah. No. I cannot even do a handstand. I go to the gym everyday lifting weights. But a handstand is difficult. Let alone a push up handstand.

Hand stand push-ups are the dumbest exercise invented. Too many opportunities for injury. You can work the same muscles so many others ways. Don't do it.
