Nah the real reason Bronny declared this year is because of the draft class. This is one of the worst draft classes we’ve seen since 2013
Nepotism is the perfect word to explain Bronny James and his situation.

Bronny James is the son of arguably the greatest basketball player of all time and so I feel like he will continue to get a high level of nepotism and favor from those higher up in the N.B.A community because of it.
At least until he either proves or disproves that he is worthy of it!
As you also said, there will be much scrutiny and comparison placed upon him for the rest of his basketball career and probably life too. Scrutiny which will forever compare him to his father.

Bronny needs 2 or 3 more years in college to see what he's really got. Its unfortunate that he is potentially sacrificing his chance at long term success for a chance to play with his dad. If he doesn't produce results in 2 years, it won't matter that he's Lebron's son. He will be in G league or overseas

It amazes me how much the dude w/the O-State hat and others downplay Bronny’s health issue leading up to his freshman season at USC. The kid literally damn near died on a basketball court… had heart surgery… and a few months later returned back to basketball. Just imagine the psychological aspect of going through all that on top of constant media coverage/scrutiny. The kid is much better than his freshman stats at USC… and I think a lot of these hot takes will age poorly as the kid develops in the NBA.
Besides that, I think he’s going to get drafted before the 55th pick… because there’s too much upside with him and I think NBA teams see it/know it. I see a lot of these kids who put up a lot of points in college entering the NBA and then disappear because they’re not driven by anything beyond the money. They get paid and then suddenly their work ethic declines because somehow they think they’ve arrived/made it, whereas I don’t think you’ll ever have that issue with Bronny. He seems to be driven by a unique hunger to prove himself as a worthy basketball player/professional… and not any foolishness.
Bronny was never the best player on any of his high school teams. Quit trying to push this dude on us gtfoh
