People wanna act like they care about some kid from Utah that didn't get drafted. Nepotism has been alive in sports for DECADES.
The NBA is not a meritocracy. It's a business. Imagine scoring 40 points and all the reporters interviewing Bonny who rode the bench
Yes keep imagining. MEANWHILE, reality continues...
To act like thats not how businesses operate too is kinda wild considering how many working class people get their ideas stolen by the "Big Man"
There is nothing to be "skeptical" of given that Bronny's a completely blank slate. He will barely play, gets to practice with dad. But I DO object to his rookie salary going to someone who doesn't need it versus someone who has killed themselves to get that opportunity. "No one cares"-- wrong. That guy we'll never know about cares, and he should. Not fantastic story. These talking heads are idiot asskissers.

Exactly! This is a business and the fact of the matter is that Bronny will sell more tickets and jerseys than any other player in this draft. This is the best 55th pick of all time.
Bronny getting a small sample of what his father has experienced media-wise for 25 years
He's actually getting too much hate cus Bron got a lotta undeserved glaze from the media as well.
The kid is not getting anything positive just disproportionate hate from his dad's haters and some members of klutch media trying to be in his dad's good graces.

Bronny has way more potential, way younger.
First time in history the 55 picks talk about more than the 1st pick...lol poor kid.😅 who's the first pick?
The first pick is from France that’s probably why too bad Bronny is lebron son. No matter what Lebron do they going talk about
Never heard of him
This right here.... It's crazy I normally pay attention to basketball, but I didn't pay any attention to the draft and I know the 55th pick is but have no idea of the first 10 lmao
Nobody feels sorry for the first pick dude. He’s not a star, he’s from a different country and he went to a bad team, if anything he’s gonna have to prove himself just like everybody else in the draft. Period
What the media is going to do to Bronny, he's who you should feel sorry for. They are going to shred that poor kid for not being his dad. I feel like Bronny is going to leave the league just sick of basketball.

Nick uses strawman arguments and cherry picks more than anyone in sports media, guy is projecting.
The goat debate is over: Lebron is playing with his son; Jordan’s son is playing with his teammate’s wife😂😂😂
That’s actually kinda funny lol
So far Jordan's son has scored more at nba level! Maybe not in basketball but still counts
All jokes aside, I do believe it to be true that Lebron's character is the defining quality that makes him undisputedly the greatest. This is a guy who would never in a million years punch his own teammate, especially one with much integrity as Steve Kerr. He would never intentionally embarrass ex-teammates and coaches in his inevitable hall of fame speech. He would never keep one of his peers off of an Olympic team simply out of childish pettiness. No one has ever played as well for as long as him and yet he clearly still has the time to be the better father. The list could go on and on, there is no debate who the greatest of all time is, on and off the court.

none of this outrage happened for thanasis.. and it should not make your superstar happy at all costs its how its always worked
Bucks would free up 3 roster spots if they traded Giannis and could actually fill out a competitive roster.
@@kidshark7150 Thanasis was drafted by the Knicks like 4 years before being signed by the Bucks. So Thanasis had already proved that he was draft worthy without Giannis' help. Bronny has never proved anything other than he is LeBron's son.
They didn’t get ripped when they first came into the league though. Thanasis is 31 with a guaranteed roster spot even though he hasn’t improved at all. No one was ripping him like they are Bronny at this age.
I have not seen the outrage for giannis
Sounds like Brou's check from Klutch cleared 😆
Hey, you would break the internet if you had evidence of nick or brou being paid by klutch, you have any?
Sounds like you're quite the idiot 😆
Dam Right
Go ask your mama
“He disagrees with me so he must be paid off” is the epitome of having no argument
He'll be the most talked about 12th man in history.
Nick can't see straight. Like, you have no critique of the situation? We should only see the positives here? Dude only averaged 4 points a game and he's in the NBA - the best basketball league in the world? How does that work?
Lebron having a palace for free in the heads of so many is pure comedy!🤣
Nick is right about Gainnas brothers. They still in the league career hype men and no one cares.
First of all is only ONE in the league and 2nd thanasis EARNED his spot in the draft unlike the lebron kid.
Also everybody troll thanasis and call him cheerleader they dont act like he is worth or something like lebron kid
@@stasisdan4451 my correction both of them was in the league right? Who cares dude this ain’t hurting you if his son is in the league? Let them live bro.
@@RonJP-pm7jp if everybody had that mindset '' Who cares dude this ain’t hurting you '' the world would have been even worse than is now...
5:15 not everyone needs to yell just cause it's worked for Stephen A. We're discussing an NBA draft here.
Lebron did not tell the the lakers to draft his son ….he opting out he’s deal was the move that make the lakers do wherever is need it to get him to sing back …
Silence is more powerful than any word ❤
If you saw bronnys reaction, you'd see he didn't feel like he deserved to be picked. It was like you already knew what you were getting for xmas and bday before opening up the box.
Lol these clowns are funny. Keep hating.
Just a friendly reminder, Nick Wright is represented by Klutch Sports.
So is brou
So is Chris Broussard.
@@user-dq8ik9ce1vpeople should not forget this
What does that have to do with anything that he said?
And Brou also
People praised Giannis for getting Thinasis on his same team.
Now people are scalding LeBron for getting Bronny on his same team.
Bronny 100% did not deserve that McDonald’s All American spot he got his senior season in high school… I could respect this whole charade more IF Bronny and Lebron were being HONEST!
Are we gonna give this kinda grace to future players that weren't great in college but performed well in the combine?
Nick a Klutch client defending his company's moves. He's the kind of loyal employee you want!
But he’s not tho . Why put lies out there.
It’s like you didn’t hear anything he said🤦🏻♂️
@@SuperTuna23 I listened to the video very clearly. I’m still waiting to hear where to find the facts that they have a signed contract working together?…
Don’t talk about Bronny’s nepotism until you address nepotism in society?????
Thanasis and Kostas were actually great players in Greece and were drafted before Giannis was even Giannis.
I think the point they are missing here is that we have always known the corporate world was based on nepotism and relationships… but we have always held sports to a different standard. Sports have always been a meritocracy, and if we lose that… then there’s really no point in trying.
This is such an overblown aspect. This is an extremely rare and once-a-generation type of scenario. It will not have any bearing on the NBA as whole. This is and will be an isolated incident that requires extreme circumstances….plus nepotism. Doc trading for his son and giving him a big contract. Giannis keeping his brothers in the league and on his team. None of these specific incidents means anything in the grand scheme of the nba.
@@kame99023 okay I can agree for now.. but I’m going to revisit this point in 10 years if we see rise.
This is 100% not true. There have been better players that got a shot in the big leagues or even in college because of who they knew, or who they're related to. If you don't know this, then you don't know sports well enough.
Jeanne buss her brother just stop
Sports haven’t been a meritocracy lol. Gilbert arenas said he used to cook starting line up when he played for the warriors but they wouldn’t let him start
Goran and Bloran Dragic also played on the same team and the only one who didn't like it was Goran, he didn't want his little brother following him around. People did give Vince Carter a hard time for sticking around taking up a roster spot
Zoran Dragić played Euroleague and he had regular apparence in Slovenia National team.
@krces1 IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT HIS NAME!!
@krces1 and it makes it super funny to be corrected "Gorans brothers name is Zoran not Bloran" 😆😆😆
@@arizonacutlery547 i wasnt trying to correct you i was just trying to say that he already had pro career before he went to Nba.Euroleague is no NBA far from that but it is second Best league in the world
@@krces1 fair
“A blowout loss is on the board” WILDES 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Raptors wanting Bronny is the best recommendation a potentially underrated second round rookie can get 😊
I think part of the struggle is that when you look at other nepotism picks in the history of sports. The Griffey's, Prince Fielder getting drafted and others is that those players looked like they could be superstars when they were picked and in a lot of cases they were. But with Bronny we haven't seen too much to say hes going to be good, but I dont have any issue with it. If i was Bron, i would've done the same thing. I wanted my hawks to get Bronny just in case we could get LeBron for a year or two😂
How much does Nick make as LeGM's PR man?
Trying to defend nepotism just because it happens in other fields/area in society is crazy. 😅
The Knicks giving Chris Smith a roster spot to make JR happy is nasty work…
We will always know that Bronny didn't get to the league through his own merits
Who cares
yall would say that in every scenario of Bronny getting in the league. If he was an undrafted free agent for another team, yall would still say it's because of LeBron.
@@kashifsingh791 I will always say this in every scenario where an undeserving player makes it to the league because of who they are or know
@@VladimirMickel as long as you admit it
@@GappyHilmore18why does that matter? He’s a late 2nd rd pick not a lottery. He’s also good enough to be in the league. He’s just not going to be a superstar right away.
nick trying to convince himself that bronny is a good prospect is peak copium 😭
how hes not? how brony is a bad prospec? how? his teammates literally playing in the league rn... yall embarrassing
But he actually didn’t do that. He basically said he’s a dart throw like any other 50+ pick. Nearly ALL of those picks are worthless so what’s the big deal.
nvm bro I just saw your channel, you need help.
Really doesn’t matter if he’s a good prospect or not…that’s why they picked that other kid at 17th , it’s crazy that people are trying to act like it’s wrong to draft him. It’s a super historic moment and worth it. And if he even plays any bit decent it will be the craziest sports moment ever. Who in their right mind would pass an opportunity like that up, it’s once in a lifetime.
There aren't any good prospects at pick 55 you dope
Y’all complaining about the 55th pick of the draft when you probably don’t remember any of the 8’players drafted after Lonzo and how they turned out. And they weren’t 55th in the draft either.
Nick is so delusional he actually believes this scrub is a second round pick
No, no skepticism warranted. ""Greatest draft pick in NBA history"" -James Worthy
Finesse2Tymes - Back End
My issue is the overwhelming coverage of it and how Incredible it is for the lakers and all the garbage. I dont care he was picked in the draft, i just dont care like every other 55th pick ever. And how the lakers basically forced him there.
