“If you clicked on this video it’s because you want to know the easiest way to get through airport security with little kids”- actually my kids are tweens but I clicked on this video bc I love Ashley’s videos 😂
Love you too! ❤️ Thanks for watching!!
You can take more than 3.4oz through of milk, breastmilk, specialty foods for kids.
Whether traveling with or without an infant or toddler, you may bring breast milk in excess of 3.4 ounces in your carry-on bag, as well as ice packs, freezer packs, or gel packs in a frozen or partially frozen state to keep the breast milk cool. Although we do not specifically limit the amount of breast milk you may bring, the amount should be reasonable and consistent with your itinerary.
When traveling with an infant or toddler, you may exceed the 3.4 ounce limit on liquids, gels, and aerosols; however, these items will receive additional screening. The following are examples of the exceptions:
Canned, jarred, or processed baby food;
Pre-mixed baby formula (in a liquid or frozen state);
Milk products;
Juice;
Bottled water;
Ice or gel packs to keep items cool (frozen or partially frozen)
Gel or liquid-filled teethers; and
Essential, non-prescription liquid medications (such as diaper cream).
Although we do not specifically limit the amount of these items, we require the amount be reasonable and consistent with your itinerary. Larger amounts of liquids for the remainder of the trip should be placed in checked baggage.
You just have to let the TSA agent know.😊
But 2 and under only ☹️
If this was an ad for TSA Precheck- im sold!
So thankful for TSA pre-check 🙌🏼 Seriously made our trip SO easy!
TSA precheck is the best especially with young kids! I traveled last fall with my 2 young kids- had my baby in a carrier, pushing a stroller/folding putting it on the conveyor belt and they had me remove my toddler’s shoes 🥵🥵 as soon as I returned from that trip I applied for tsa precheck
Great video! We are looking into doing TSA precheck now!
I LOVE TSA precheck, definitely worth the money. I highly recommend!
The MCO airport is the entire reason we got TSA precheck! That airport is insane (and of course where we fly to and from the most)!
Great video! I just got my KTN based on your recommendation. I agree it is a super simple process and well worth it. The only hard thing for me was having a location close to us. We are in rural Ohio, so had to drive 40 min to closest, but we chose to go to a different one that was more convent to where we do some shopping in the city. If you are farther away from a city you should plan to have to drive to a city to get the appointment done. I got my number in 5 business days also, and my partner got it in one day (we did the appointments together). I am looking forward to seeing how it goes in our upcoming trip. Thanks for the video!
Another tip for those who also travel abroad frequently - if you apply for Global Entry, it includes PreCheck. So you get both clearances for $100. The one caveat is that minors do need their own Global Entry clearance to re-enter the US and breeze through customs.
We don't have TSA pre-check in Europe. Still, we were pleasantly surprised in December (hello, Xmas security waiting lines with the baby -.-), that in Frankfurt Airport they installed new scanning machines so when they saw us wanting to put all liquids and electronics on the belt (as usual) they were like "no, no, just leave it in the bags, the machine will scan it through anyway". :D So no need to hassle! Unfortunately, the return airport had a "normal" machine, but I think the biggest EU airports are testing new ones and more and more will get them soon.
when would you reccomend booking travel from airport to hotel? ❤
Next year I’m definitely getting it I’m always so stressed out and anxious because of security 😮💨I hate them touching my stuff lol 😳😩
The worst was when we went to Ecuador and they took out my underwear and out it on table k dyed inside 😫😭 ( I told my husband your home plant is rude 😭)
For our toddlers, do we have to add the parents TSA KTN to their boarding pass in order for them to walk thru with us or do they just walk thru?
You don’t have to add anything for them. 👌🏼
I have read about people making appointments at MCO TSA when traveling home. If you get pre check is this stilll necessary to get through the line quicker?
I've never done that so not 100% sure, but we move through very quickly using TSA pre-check plus it works at other airports that may not have that appointment option.
One question, have you traveled with the double stroller with American Airlines and if they let you take the stroller
We haven't with American Airlines. I would be sure to google their stroller policy. Most airlines allow you to check a stroller for free when flying with a child.
@@thepixiedustedmom thank you very much for answering my question
My family is flying American Airlines in a few weeks to Disney, and when I called about strollers they said their policy is if the stroller is over 20lbs you check it for free, but if it’s under 20lbs you have the option to gate check it as well.
@@meaganpeterson9676 Thank you. Does this mean that you can have a double stroller at the airport?
This videos title needs to be changed to TSA pre check. I don’t have pre check and totally wasted my time watching this video
