Instead of complaining (like some of these comments) you could easily ask the parent if they need a break and hang out with the kid in your own seat, hold the baby, whatever, to tire them out and give them back. It takes a village and kids usually love meeting people and making new “friends”.
Also talk directly to the kid and tell them to stop instead of depending on the parent, or depending on the kid to listen to the parent. Usually a stranger giving instructions works (scares) better than the parent saying the same thing.
Or I guess you can just sit in your negativity and whine and complain, like a baby. 😊

I’m about to fly with 3 toddlers. I have “snackleboxes” for each of them, tablets, headphones, and coloring books. I realize some parents are “anti-screens” and I’ll get dirty looks, but in my opinion public transportation isn’t the place to chance kids getting bored.

@@MissGracieLouFreebush We boarded first and then while other passengers were boarding my 3 yr old boy twin had to go potty 3 times within 10 minutes. On the 3rd time I ended up putting a pull-up on him and he had a 10 minutes meltdown(I was so mortified 😅). Take-off distracted him and then he was fine after that. All 3 loved the plane ride, loved their tablet time and their snackleboxes. It was a short flight and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. I think anything longer than 5 hours would have me stressing again.

@@whatintheheck4692 So you had 3 toddlers on a flight, with some of them potty training, and you're still mindfull of all the other passengers. Wow, You're a wonderful mom. Ignore the looks. You are doing great. Kudos to you. Well done! 🙌🏼 I will definitely give my toddler snacks and screen time as well.

Thanks for having an actually helpful video that gets right to the point. In researching this topic, I can’t believe how many vlogs I had to sift through where the tips are interspersed between useless footage and off-topic dialogue. I’m not here to socialize lol

Glad it was helpful! (I’m sorry, I’m sure I have plenty of other videos with off-topic dialogue though 😅… don’t watch those ones 😆)

I'm sorry you experienced that. That is not okay. (I'm not sure but if it makes you feel any better, that mom may have been having a rough day too) :(

Same here. I had a child kicking my seat on a long haul flight and screaming but the poor parent looked dead. The least I could do was suck it up. I had my airbuds too which was amazing. I’m sure we weren’t angels when we were kids.

Yeah agree with that, but for now, while it's still up to 2 years, I will save some money. Will travel with my 15 month old in couple of weeks and gonna try my best to avoid this kind of inconvenience for passengers. 😔
