To be fair, I went to Dollywood for the first time with the mindset that Lightning Rod wouldn’t be open… in October 2021. And I was correct. What I didn’t expect was Blazin Fury to break down. 😭😅 But back row Thunderhead was awesome so it’s fiiiiiiiiiiine.

Lightning Rod is a solid ride, double down and sharp bend ride elements plus more. If I ever go to Dollywood, I would like to try this one and Thunderhead. It's funny to me to hear people ridiculing this ride because that means it's just that good that people take time out of their day to talk about it.
