BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet.
The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury's lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.

Did you spot any other crazy little details in Bohemian Rhapsody? And what was your favourite song in the movie?
I didn't notice any of those TBH! The Live Aid set details were amazing though!
I thought you'd mention the part when Freddie is writing lyrics in his notebook just after he joins the band.
A quick glimpse of the book shows the lyrics of "Liar" which die hard Queen fans will know from their first album.
I Want To Break Free music video was great, shame they only did a little of it.
Flicks And The City the movie is awesome and my favourite song is another one bites the dust
MrGoldxfinger There's so much to take in when you watch a film for the first time! Live Aid set was incredible! :-)
The chicken opening its mouth and singing 🎼 Galileo 🎼 was the single greatest comedic moment in cinematic history.
The split was the most romantic split up is human history, never mind Hollywoods.

i went to the premiere in my town and the whole theatre bursted out laughing at that moment (and that says a lot bc my town is a depressed little hole)
Yep I thought was hilarious

Honestly this movie was more like an experience... I've never had the chance to see Queen live but watching this movie at times was like being at a concert and I absolutely adored it!
Chaz Zalesinski Same here. I would definitely put that movie down as a life experience. I’ve never been moved so much by a film. Even thinking about it now makes me choke up a bit. It was amazing.👌🏻
I was fortunate to twice see them live.
I started to put my arms up for Radio Gaga but no one else was doing it. 😕
This is so good to read you guys had the same "Experience". I too thought it had all the markings of something much greater than that.
I would say it was even a spiritual experience.
Bohemian Rhapsody and the story of Freddie Mercury has the power to change who you are.
@@SuzanneBeenackers yes indeed
Fun Fact: Queen punched a hole in the ozone layer since wembley stadium had no roof.
"Actually, Wembley doesn't have a roof"
"Yeah, he's right. It doesn't"
"THEN WE'LL PUNCH A HOLE THROUGH THE SKY"
Maybe that's the reason for global warming
Touch of the heavens...:)
Awww. Clever
Everyone clapping in sync to radio ga ga
Was legendary
I was very fortunate to be at Wembley stadium to see Queen in 1986
Wow !! You are So Lucky
Lucky soab
Simon Higgins I think I win. I was at Live Aid. Biggest claim to fame for me.
Please describe what it was like 😭
Simon Higgins *1985
I have to say
Rami’s performance was breathtaking. This is something Queen fans Old and New should see. You’ll laugh you’ll cry. Its such an oscar worthy film
I totally agree
You were right @PChamileon97
I *_did_* laugh.
I *_did_* cry.
Stunning movie.
Me and my old husband who actually saw Queen in concert, saw the movie. We enjoyed the LiveAid part was 👍 But Queen and Freddie was the best music ever!!!!
I have to say I just saw your comment . I agree. Freddie was a star!!
I loved how Rami actually held the microphone during performances exactly like Freddie always did, with the one finger. And even at the first preformance, he did it ❤️
I Pity Your Wife If You Think 6 Minutes Is Forever
🤣
It was indeed very funny
BEST LINE EVER!!!!
Hahaha that was very funny😂🤣
It was the best line ever.
The fact that many people say that they cried during the movie should be proof enough that the filmmakers took time and care for what they did especially with the final live aid concert Freddie would be proud
It was so touching & a wonderful tribute to them all. I was reduced to tears by the Live Aid performance. Can't recommend the film enough
Yes. Even though certain parts were so wrong they made me cringe, in the end the movie still made me cry like a sieve. So all in all, it was well made.
Truth! I watched Live Aid "live" on television, and recorded it on my VCR. ...watched it many more times through out my life. During the Live Aid scene in the movie, I cried real tears. It was like a reflex. I couldn't stop them. Totally moving!
Yup... same for me. I was looking forward to the Live Aid concert in the movie so I can sign along, but by that time in the movie all that I could was try not ugly cry as the tears kept coming. It may have not been the right timeline or they embellished some facts, but it's an incredibly emotional and well made film. And Rami... wow... can't say enough about him. Gotta go see it again.
Went tonight.
Cried.
Sigh. I am a baby.
So did not realize that was Adam Lambert as the truck driver. I think they did an excellent job making nods to major details in queens career.
This movie is possibly the best movie I have ever seen. All I am doing since I saw it, is look op things about Queen. The movie sure triggered me to find out more about Freddie mercury and the band. Love this video with hidden details about the movie!
so funny I am spending a lot of time doing the same thing. back for the 3rd viewing on Sunday. Never done that before.
I feel the same way. Cant get enough of the film. I've seen it 7 times and plan on doing back. It's just total escapism and I'm totally immersed for 2hrs and 20 mins.
RandomCrap ever heard of auto correct? Very sorry for my mistake
RandomCrap maybe not on your phone. But when you use the name “Freddy” as often as I do because i know someone with that name, it does.
pauline aerts me tooo and i get attacked by it all the time even tho i’ve likes the band . this movie just elaborated a lot, you know ?
This is the only film in my 64 years on Earth that I have paid twice to see it in a theater. Greatest...band....ever.
I’ve seen it five times in a cinema and each time the audience has applauded at the end of the film. Never seen that before.
I love the scene where his cats are watching their performance at Live Aid on tv. Lol
Me too, that exactly what cat owners do !
"Everyone's a critic." 😸
@@imjelo , especially cats! LOL
Before Freddie and everyone else walks on stage, you can hear them say "Your Majesty! Queen!" Just like the real performance, the detail in this movie just makes it better and better.
Great video too! We love ya Jan!
Aw, thanks so much, Juan! :-)
I noticed that also
As I heard that line in the movie, I could picture the two cops making the announcement.
everything down to the beer and pepsi cups in the piano freddie was playing on was spot on
that's correct! a couple of officials introduced Queen in Live Aid
In the theater, I started laughing with the Mike Myers "teenagers head banging" comment. My husband had no idea why until I told him after the movie was done.
I didn't realise it was Mike Myers when watching, I knew it was someone though, I was squinting my eyes and trying to work out the voice.
My wife and I had to show "Wayne's World" to our young friends (who are in their 20's) who double dated with us to the movie. My wife and I were seniors in high school when that movie hit the theaters- I even dressed/looked like Wayne for a time when I graduated high school (hat included), I loved that movie so much! SO when Mike Meyers said that in Bohemian Rhapsody, I about lost it laughing....our young friends looked a bit perplexed...so we had to "moviesplain" it to them.
I didn't even know it was Mike Myers until he said that headbanging line, then I immediately realized it was him.
Saw the interview first. When I saw the movie, I think the kid sitting next to me was wondering why was I laughing. If he only knew, that, that was Mike Myers.
I caught that right away too 😂😂
There’s a David Bowie Easter egg in the first two minutes. He’s the guy wearing the suit talking with reporters. His face is hidden.
Yes!
Was he standing next to George Michael?
Rob Greive I think it was Elton John.
Omg yes!!! I screamed out Bowie when that scene came out, not many saw it tho😏
@Meg Lauzer That was BBC news presenter David Hepworth.
Yes, I noticed that too!! I was so excited! :D
Since I watched this movie I have been listening Queens music every single moment I have
Destiny Kluck Me too!
Me too. I am already Queen obsessed but it revived my love for Queen. Listening daily to Queen!
I've been falling asleep every night to Love of my life
Hey but do you like Adam as Queens new singer?? If not listen to Marc Martel
Same.
for me the most touching scene its the one when he is in the hospital already leaving Knowing that he had hiv and a pacient recognize him (who has hiv too) and make the iconic corus and freddie does it too as a way of saying "yes its me , im human too and got infected too and im not ashamed of it "(although he was very private about it in real life but that does not mean he was ashamed)and then the shoot of the door and the lights shining as he walks by acepting his faith. (even though that do not happen in real life it was very emocional moment). Also my favorite song of the movie was "Dont stop me now" wich plays at the end and a little slower beacuse its feels correct ,right, fitting, beautiful, that they close the scene with that song.
i hope and pray to God to win the giveaway, Been a fan since diapers and i thank my dad everyday for that!
Great moment in the movie
And after that he meets Jim Hutton, who had previously said "find me when you love yourself."
Deh...oh...
That patient is in the scenes before if you look carefully
@@imjelo Aye -oh...no D :)
OH MY GOD. THAT *WAS* ADAM! I WASN'T HALLUCINATING WHEN I SAW HIM AND THOUGHT, SHEESH THAT GUY REMIDS ME OF GLAMBERT.
I cry every time I think about Freddy why did he have to die?
Sarah Summers its Freddie sugar
Freddie darling
The films live aid scene with Freddy at the piano is detailed to match the original performance down to the number of cups and amount of visible liquid in them.
There one more detail..
As there is a girl sitting in above a man in live aid
Which is seen in movie
The amount of detail that went into that scene was crazy, im so glad they did it
It was amazing how detailed and close it was to the original performance by Queen.
Freddie not Freddy
I heard they even put what Freddie kept in his bag.. even though he never opens the bag up.
I can't believe Adam Lambert was the truck driver that Freddie checks out when he's on the phone at the gas station. I'm a huge fan of Adam and I didn't even recognize him! xD
He's totally unrecognisable, isn't he?! :-)
That was Adam Lambert, what the heck!
@@raksh9 yes indeed, checking out Freddie ; )
Neither did I and I'm a huge Adam fan too 😂 when she said it I was like "what?!"
he looked way too old
Well I'm pretty sure I saw a painting of Marie "let them eat cake" Antoinette in the farmhouse where the band recorded BoRhap... a nod to Killer Queen. God I so loved this film, have seen it 3 times and I never do that. Especially love how the audience waits til all credits have rolled before leaving the theater. Discussing now enrolling my son in an art school because we were so inspired by Freddie and all the talented members of Queen. Rami's performance is resplendent - to the highest degree. What a great treasure he is to the Egyptian-American community as Freddie is to the British-Persian community. Remarkable casting in Rami. Love him completely. He's mesmerizing. I'm hooked. Will probably watch this film a thousand more times. "Fearless Lives Forever."
I watched the movie Saturday night. The Live Aid concert gave me chills. It was almost identical to the real concert footage! The guy who played Brian is a dead ringer. Easily one of my all time favorite movies.. Made you laugh and cry, feel his sorrow and joy. It was definitely an experience!
More EASTER EGGs: 1) Freddie says "we are not bad for 4 aging Queen". This is the line he says during the Wembley concert in 1986, just before the song Who Wants to Live Forever.
2) The crown he wears during his hause party is the one of the 1986 Magic Tour
3) The music played by the violins during the recording of his solo album it's "Mr Bad Guy".
4) When he's at home dining with his parents, the song he plays on the piano while standing it's a line of "Lazy on a Sunday Afternoon" from A Night At The Opera.
This was the most amazing film I’d ever seen and the actor who played Brian may looks like a splitting image of him
He's looks and sounds so like him that it's totally spooky! I literally did a double take when I saw him say hello to Mary in the Live Aid trailer towards the end of the film, that's how much he is Brian May! :-)
Yassss
So does the actor playing John Deacon. It's slightly mind blowing. As soon as the actor who plays Brian came on screen, I was like "what is this witchcraft? How did they find a double of Brian?" 😂😂
Kittykill 2006
Yeah I know, right?! I wouldn’t of been able to tell any difference! They all looked quite similar. Good choice of actors!! 💕❤️
You ever seen the movie the river wilde...hes the kid!
The only two small details I noticed that come to mind right now are: (1) Freddie's cat Delilah is mentioned whom he wrote a song for on the Innuendo album, and (2) At Queen's 1st concert with Freddie on vocals, not only does Brian May refer to him as "Freddie Bulsara, (as he did not adopt the name "Mercury" until the 1st album, but Brian introduces Roger Taylor as the most popular member of the band, because Roger was very prominent in the London music scene and was in a band that was very popular in the London area. Queen started out as Roger's "side band."
He calls Roger the "Biggest Member of them all" as a bit of a lighthearted joke at Taylor's expense. Calling him the biggest "member" was a play on words for Male Genitalia and in essence calling his pal Roger a dick ;)
Exactly right Simon! I'm ok with people sharing their sensationalized version of history but plain truth & FACTS work better for me.
I remember when Freddie passed away. It was a truly sad day. All my friends and I could talk about was how he died because we didn't know he was gay. Although, it made no difference to us, it did to many Queen fans. I'm sure that's changed since the times have changed but still....how sad that someone's sexuality has that much power over what we think of a person. I loved Queen, still do, even more now that I know their story and I didn't know how many songs that are so popular and used so much were theirs. I still love Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Radio GaGa, I still love you, Under Pressure, but my all time fave is One Vision - love the fried chicken at the end. lol I have been bingeing on every and any videos about Queen. Love Rami Malek, he did an incredible tribute to Freddie and gave him renewed life in the movie. Thank you for the videos!!
Brian confirmed today that his youngest daughter Emily was part of the audience of pre-queen gig when Freddie breaks his mike stand 😃
That's awesome - I'll have to look out for her! Thanks for letting me know, Kenna! :-)
I loved that Mic stand bit- doubtful that was why but Freddie well known of course for his unique way of holding his Microphone with half stand attached like a Baton.
@@carlwells9504
No, it's true. Several documentaries mention that as the reason. They couldn't afford good equipment.
OMG😍😍😍😍 they couldn’t have found a better suited actor for Freddie than Rami Malek, this is a movie you can watch a thousand times without getting bored of it😍😍
I agree.
Totally agree! I was awestruck...especially with Live Aid :-) Going again this weekend with my mother :-)
In an interview of Mike Myers in the Tonight Show (Please correct me if I'm wrong) he said "Rami Malek is Freddie Mecury." He sure got it right. Rami Malek portray him so well, that as I was watching (and singing along) I could swear I was watching Freddie Mercury.
I soooo agree. I've already seen it 7 times. Enjoy it every time. Never get bored with it.
@@soniabishop7529 I will also be taking my mom to see "Bohemian Rhapsody" with me very soon, as we are both avid fans of Queen and the late great Freddie Mercury.
LOVED it all, one of my favorite scenes when he put his hand gently over Jim's and said "Jim is my friend". It was very understated but said and meant so much. So glad Jim was there with him for his final years.
I work at a movie theater and ive seen this movie at a total of 10 times
Brian and Roger did kind of make a cameo, actually! At the very beginning of the movie it shows actual footage of Princess Di taking her seat at Live Aid and Brian and Roger can be spotted sitting behind her.
I saw the Princess Diana footage but didn't see them in the background, Hannah - thanks for pointing it out! :-) I wonder if the present-day Brian and Roger appear anywhere in the movie, heavily disguised like Mike Meyers or Adam Lambert?
@@FlicksAndTheCity i'm quite sure they do have a cameo during the Live Aid scene, they're like at the side of the stage, in the rafters, Brian's wearing a yellow t-shirt 😉
They were sitting in the rafters at Live Aid
And i just checked, you can see them behind Princess Diana
@@LW-gb2nj I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw that
Going to see the movie this weekend. I met Freddie in England in 78 at the Queen fan club in London. I’ve seen them at least 10 times!
Ellen Bedford 😱
Lucky you!!!
Wow !!!!!!
Cool! I was lucky to have seen them in concert about 5 times in California.
Let me know what you think. I enjoyed it, but the historical inaccuracies and scrubbing of his real story bothered me
I was 14 in 1985. I watched Live Aid mainly to see U2. I wasn’t a huge Queen fan back then. I remember being blown away by their set. I loved that they included U2 in the movie. Both performances were iconic, but Queen’s was truly epic.
Queen stands the test of time. Amazing movie that gets thumbs up from my 75 year old mom and 14 year old daughter. Cheapest "concert" we've been to in a long time!
I was a little saddened that Jim Hutton was portrayed as a waiter at one of Freddie’s parties when he was actually a hair dresser and they met in a bar. I get it though, having to condense 30 some odd years into 2 hours would make it difficult to get things perfect. I know Peter Freestone probably didn’t want a part in it, but I missed him too!
Beverley Dunn I really wanted them recreate it too I think it’s hilarious how Freddie asked to buy him a drink and then said “hOw biG iS yOur cOcK” I mean that’s a pretty iconic first impression right there😂
Freddie Mercury was a musical genius. Period. (It makes me laugh when people like Kanye think they are a genius.)
Kanye loves Freddie so he would agree with you.
All of them are musical genius
@@zv3zda104 no

Yes, yes!! This is exactly what I was looking for here, i thought i was just crazy but it turns out i wasn't the only one that noticed them!
Yeah Brian with a yellow shirt on and Roger with a blue wastcoat sitting up on the scaffolding
@@mikehunt4868 No they weren't because they sat in the audience in company of queen Elisabeth II they are just behind the queen. Check that out.
Also, John Deacon's son (Luke Deacon) apparently had a cameo in the film.
I have to say, Love of my Life had to be my favorite song in the movie, just because of it's tie to Mary and Freddie.
I do wish they would have told the story of David Bowie walking into studio and helping them finish Under Pressure, and the issues which him being from a different label. I for one don't like the skipping over the News of the World album, but mention Spread Your Wings and fly away when he chooses to go solo.
I liked the detail of the cups on the piano during Live Aid, I have a DVD of the entire day, and the fact they found/used/made the old Pepsi logo paper cups and cups of beer on the piano were rather remarkable.
I totally agree... I have noticed same cups since i watched live aid yesterday and i memorized that shot from it... It's amazing, outfit and moves and energy, Malak gave the best he can and nailed it!
I sense a David Bowie biopic in the works possibly depending how the Elton John one goes.
You can actually see David at the begining of the Movie. In the Live Aid Backstage. You don't see his face but you see him in his suit
Carl Wells omg that would be awesome.
Rock me Falco I caught that because I was desperately anticipating a Bowie cameo. Do you think it was a royalties thing, that's why we didn't see him interact with Queen?
Did anyone notice Freddie is wearing the same green/gold blouse his mother was wearing for his debut with Smile?
Wow, I'm going to look for that when I go see it for my 4th time...
Yes. I noticed that after my 4th viewing! Cool.
This movie was honestly amazing. It was an accurate representation of the life of queen and how it made its rise to fame. Honestly breathtaking and beautiful and my new favorite movie. Long live Freddie Mercury💙🥰
U2 easter egg was nice but I really loved af the David Bowie one just before this one, when they're telling "David" to look to the camera, we can see his hair
You're right, and I wished they would have covered just a pinch more on Bowie at Live Aid....but alas, they can't go into every detail in a two hour movie. This brought back a lot of memories for my wife and I, we both have memories of where we were and what we were doing at the moment Queen took the stage at LiveAid.
Yep, noticed that too.
@@StormLaker would have loved to see Bowie, but it would been a big responsability to find a good Bowie, and they already had that with freddie. Plus we probably wouldn't have seen him much, but maybe in a David Bowie biopic!
Sheev el barman what part was this at?? how did i not realize this ahahha
@@emathurman at the very beginning of the film, on the live aid concert backstage, being interviewed, but as I said, there's a guy covering his face and we do get to see some of his hair and how they say "David, look at me"
Even though the timeline was jumbled around for this movie I still thought it was a beautiful, well thought out movie and Malek and everyone else did an amazing job
You forgot about David Bowie, he is in the film too, but it's a cameo scene. Do you remember the man in the blue suit and blond hair with his face blocked by the camera? that's David Bowie.
and was that George Michael standing next to him?
Rob Greive I think it’s Elton John standing alongside him.
Sorry to burst the bubble. That’s not David Bowie. It’s just an actor, they have his face hidden. David Bowie died in 2016. BoRhap didn’t start filming until 2017.

Freddie Mercury is a true legend
How does this film have 60% on rotten tomatoes
I believe this is the film of the year
Its very easy to see why it got 60% on rotten tomatoes: They have no taste. How did "Almost Famous" do? "Rock Star?" "Detroit Rock City?" etc... etc... etc...
because the film was a very standard by the numbers bio-pic and played it too safe. Lots of major inaccuracies and cliches. That being said...I really enjoyed Malik in the role of Freddie, the music and the epic concert scenes were amazing to watch.
Mike Navis
I completely understand the fact that someone may be annoyed by the historical inaccuracies, but the fact that people hate it because it's a by the books biopic, which I'll admit it is, is not a good argument. Some of the best "best on a true story" films follow this formula, Straight Outta Compton, Cool Runnings, Eddie the Eagle, etc.
Craziest Little Thing in Bohemian Rhapsody that I have not missed is
*SOMETHING CALLED LOVE*
"Roger, what exactly you were doing with the car? "😂😂😂
Brian May also has a cameo in the film (he posted a sneaky pic on instagram that hinted about it before the movie came out). The cameo is quick! It's during the Live Aid sequence at the end. He's disguised. Go see the film again and look closely at the people sitting in the scaffolding.
KeepingItZen1 I thought that was him sitting in the scaffolding
@@mikeweglian Yeah, me too. I was SURE of it, but couldn't find any proof.
Yup, I'm pretty sure he's in that sequence in the scaffolding. It's there and gone in a blink of an eye. If you watch closely you can see them again in the background but blury due to the focus on the front of the stage. Even more, I think Roger Taylor is sitting next to him. There is a grey-haired guy sitting next to him.
I think it was at the beginning of the film
This film was everything and more - everyone shone for me. Tiny but significant detail that brought a tear to my eye (one of many, let's be honest), was the smile Freddie's sister gave him when he introduced Jim to her and their parents. I felt her unconditional love for him in that moment 💕
Yes I noticed and it also made me feel warm.
That scene wrecked me! When his dad hugged him. Finally, acceptance. 💙
Despite there being a few differences between the movie and reality, the Bohemian Rhapsody movie made me fall in love with Queen and their music all over again. I honestly couldn't even pick a favourite song. The simple fact that the were popular in the 70's and still popular today is a testament to exactly how good this band is. I started listening to my dad's old albums when I was about 5 years old - no idea what their saying, but feeling the music in my soul. Today, at age 24, they are still one of my favourite bands... For the exact same reason!
PS: English is not my first language, so to make sure that the sentences actually make sense, I imagine hearing you say it. It helps! :D
I have Just seen Bohemian rhapsody and i liked it very much, aldo i am only 12 years old. I am a big fan of queen. If i drum, i mostly drum to Bohemian rhapsody, especially the last part. You know, the ones with the Galileo's in it. The only thing i don't have is merch...... So i subscribed!
I just watched the movie yesterday and OH GOD it was amazing!!
I've been listening to Queen music since I was 11 (18 now) in a time when I got to a new school and was struggling socially and had no friends at all at school. I was lonely most of the time and would sit by myself every day and think about Queen songs, try to draw them from memory and learn English just to understand what they're saying (as English isn't my first language).
Queen had filled that place in my heart that was empty. I talked with people who liked Queen online and was active in many online communities with broken English but with a huge amount of love to Queen. I'm still friends with these people and still am active in these communities, but with much better English (or so I hope :D).
My dreams came true when I saw Queen and Adam Lambert live in my country. It was 2016 and I was in a tough place in my life, after being in a terrorist attack (wearing a shirt with Freddie printed on it, with a quote he once said- "I won't be a rock star, I will be a legend"). For one night all my troubles and thoughts were aside and my whole focus was on Queen, seeing Brian May playing the guitar, Roger Taylor playing the drums, and Adam Lambert singing all my favourite songs right in front of me was just magical and spiritual to me. I was filled with adrenaline for the whole week and was just so so happy :)
In the movie, when they say that Queen is for the people in the back of the room, where they're not even sure they belong, these outcasts- I cried, and a lot, because it was just so touching and true.
Queen has changed my life forever and I'm so grateful for them.
@Flicks And The City this is an amazing video and these scenes would have been incredible and I hope that someday we will get to see them :)
About same age I first heard Queen- I'm 41 now 🙂
I bet you heart filled with joy during that scene in the movie when they were saying why Queen will be different from all of the other bands.
@@Chigger Oh definitely! It was really amazing
Well, there are apparently lots of us misfits. Long live Queen!
@@keren211200 Thats a really beautiful memory to share. Thank you. It's inspiring when rock music can be about so much more than the stereotypical subjects that sell in the genre. Queen rocked hard on their own terms without needing to resort to bimbos, drug culture, or pop trends. Very few bands can be uplifting and rocking at the same time :)
Noticed everything except Adam Lambert but I was wondering if he'd be in it. The movie and cast just amazeballs
Loved that every detail went into the Live Aid scene including the beer and Pepsi cups with the logo/font at the time, having the camera guy getting swung around, and Rami Malek replicating Freddie's moves and mannerisms perfectly! Entire cast did a great job! Can't wait to see it again!
Thank you for this video ! I missed all the details you show!!
It is so beautiful that they took Adam Lambert, even if it's just a short moment, and the band. The details are hidden in plain sight, it is a movie that brings you closer to the people behind this rhapsody named Queen.
The legends, nothing more to say. The movie was fascinating! It is truly heartwarming to know that Queen's legacy is still loved and valued.
Love the info on this post. So much I'd never known. Thanks!
This is a great video! I didn't notice most of these before watching this video. I think the Easter egg about Bono and U2 is really cool (:
I loved bohieman raphsody i also love the part when freddie showed marry everyone singing love of my life on tv
That's such a beautiful song, isn't it?! :-)
@@FlicksAndTheCity yes very beautiful
loves Brian, Freddie, Roger and John, they are so talented and I’m just 12 but I love them my heart out, will never forget them
Lovely to hear you enjoy the band's music so much - me too! :-)
I am so glad you are discovering Queen. Listen to EVERYTHING. Watch EVERYTHING.
You can do anything you want. Fortune favors the bold!
Jennifer Ramirez i will, and just because someone thinks this is old music, then they rong!! Queen haves a power that non of those stupid bands from today would ever dream of. They have empress me for a lifetime
Thank You for this video, Great details and great conversation starter on this site. I think it's so cool how they wove all these details into the movie. Adam Lambert too. I have seen it 4 times so now I have an excuse to go again. I really want to see Brian and Roger in the scaffolding at Live Aid. Love of My Life !
By far one of the best biopics EVER!! I can't stop talking about this movie and watching every video with the behind the scene secrets! Can't wait for the video release! Def, going to be part of my collection.
There is a part where Freddie is standing in the hall outside the producers office, there is a gold record right behind him and it looks like Freddie has a gold halo around his head
Thank you!!! You're the only other person I've heard that caught this!!! I saw it right away
I noticed it; I wondered if it was an intentional reference to Renaissance paintings featuring such halos over Saints, or a bit of foreshadowing because although Fred had received his diagnosis by that point in the film, he hadn't yet told the band (although by all accounts, Freddie wasn't actually diagnosed until sometime around '87, following their Magic tour).
@@ryanwaggoner6974 Yes, those were my exact thoughts on it, too.
I swear that shot is perfect. Saint Mercury.
I thought the same thing!!
I saw the women on the bikes!!
Who else did?!
Amazing research and information. Thanks so much! Can't wait to see the movie!
Nice summary, Thanks. Also, In one of the scenes in Freddy's home, in the background, I am confident the music playing in the background in the home was being sung by Montserrat Caballe... with whom Freddy later produced the Barcelona operatic spectacle. I would consider that an Easter egg!
I got a few of the Easter eggs. One of my favorite Queen songs is "Who Wants to Live Forever" and I burst into tears when they played this as Freddie was being diagnosed in the movie. I loved every minute of the movie and didn't even realize that it was over 2hrs!!! I'm a smoker and I was so absorbed in the movie that not once did I think of having a cigarette!!! 🐧🐧🐧
I teared up during that part too.
We had a lady in her 60's sitting behind us...she had fallen asleep during the movie and was snoring quite loudly during that part......she pretty much did that through the WHOLE movie. Not sure HOW IN THE HELL you pay $12 to take a friggin' nap!!!! Especially during such a great movie!
@@StormLaker Craziness!!! Guess it was past her bedtime!!! I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day my friend!!! 😊😊😊😊 🐧🐧🐧🐧
It would have added a bit of story about how Queen was drafted to write a song for a movie sound track, and made such a remarkable touching song, with one of the best guitar solos, and fantastic organ and drum parts, followed by, imho, one of the very best videos ever made:
Me too all the hairs on my arms n neck stood up it had w lotta depth to it !!! They also left out a lotta details too
Never knew Freddy called jim beach Miami 😂😂😂 he was so flamboyant even when they recorded his 30 th bday party all were dressed in shall we say diff outfits that would b right at home in bondage club
I would give Bohemian Rhapsody a 15/10
Absolute masterpiece, instant classic. Brought back so many memories and has rekindled their music for me and an inspiration to listen to their other tracks.
Awesome video!
I didn’t even realize most of these! Thanks for bringing new things to my eyes!!
My pleasure! :-)
Could be wrong but it looked like during the Live Aid performance, the big screens flanking the stage had actual Freddie footage and not Remi Malek
Oh, that's interesting, I'll have to look out for that - thanks for sharing, David! :-)
I thought so too!
I think it was.
I also saw that!!!!
I thought so too
i just watched this today, now its my favorite movie
That’s cool, Adam looking at Freddie and Freddie looking at Adam! When stars collide.
Somewhere Freddie's smiling!
@@freddiemercury4evr I agree!! Adam is smiling too..
Loved the video and the interpretation of Freddie in the film was respectful and immensely beautiful
Loved the Wayne's World nod 😍
This was an incredible movie!!! Loved every second of it
Watching the performance at Live Aid on the big screen made me so teary. Never had the chance to see Queen live but seeing this gave me the feeling I was there... Amazing!
In the scene that they were being interviewed, rami actually looked like freddie alot
I just saw the movie. It's an amazing work of art and Malek really did a great job impersonating a man who was and still is the personification of rock music. I wouldn't mind if the movie was even 4 hours long cause I loved it
Omg those kind of videos are so good!!!!!!
I can't pick just one favourite song or one favourite part because, just like the band itself, everything about this movie was absolutely incredible. The casting was perfect, their performances were so accurate it was like watching the actual band, and I'm so grateful for the way they recreated the concerts because them being before my time means me never getting to see them perform, which I would have killed for!!!! Will definitely watch this movie a thousand times over!
I've seen it twice and I'm going seeing it again personally I didn't spot any of these easter eggs but I'm going seeing it again this weekend and can't wait to see all of these now that I know about them. I'd say my favourite song from the movie were the scenes with bohemian rhapsody being played it was fun to see how it came to be.
Hope this helps you spot them this time, Jackson! Bohemian Rhapsody is such an epic song - been singing it to myself ever since seeing the film last week! :-)
@@FlicksAndTheCity Same here the movie inspired me to finally stop being lazy and get a keyboard and finally learn that song. So I'm in the middle of learning it right now with no experience play piano behind me.
That's amazing, Jackson! Hope it's going well and you're having fun! :-)
Jackson Sisk oh shit, good luck! Your comment makes me want to pick up my guitar once again
Jackson Sisk I recommend this for you watch ua-cam.com/video/MizPUYNrAyI/v-deo.html
Saw the movie last evening & I thought that "trucker" looked familiar. I wouldn't have minded listening to ANY of the songs replayed again. The movie showed what a true "FAMILY" they really were. I'm so glad they showed what a caring loving soul Freddie was.
Didn’t even notice all of those details in the movie! Awesome video!
I’ve been OBSESSED with the movie, and now find myself watching all your videos and loving the movie even more!
Woah! I didn't recognise Adam Lambert as the trucker either!
My favourite Queen songs are Bohemian Rhapsody and The Show Must Go On.
I watched the movie with my 15yo daughter and it was an amazing experience. Even my daughter love the movie and the "queen" performance..... when i got home, i watched the Live Aid performance of Queen on the youtube to search for the person sitting on the scaffolding and there they are :)
Glad you opened my eyes to these things
This movie continues to blow my mind. Deserves an Oscar rami had some big shoes to fill and worked really hard to execute this! so proud!
My fav song is Killer Queen and Don't stop me now.
Two awesome picks, Lesly! :-)
Lesly Tubac
I personally love all of their songs, but bohemian rhapsody, killer queen, somebody to love, you’re my best friend and under pressure are some of my top favourites ❤️💕❤️
Lesly Tubac I loveeeeee Dont Stop me Now. I literally stayed till the credits ended even though everyone else left already 😭😭😭😭😭
@@dellasim7861 so did I saw till the end when it said that Freddy Mercury died I cried so so so much for him😆🙄😭😲😤😟😨😭😭😭😭😭😭😖😇😿🙀😾🙈🙉🙊
@@FlicksAndTheCity cool😜😃
Just saw Bohemian Rhapsody last night. I had watched the original Live Aid concert on UA-cam last week and there was a scene where Freddie was goofing around with a cameraman and then mischievously walked away while pointing at him. I thought to myself if they would recreate that for the movie...and they did 😊
I saw that too !! I have been watching so much UA-cam footage of Queen
Subscribed! Thanks for some things i missed!
this movie was my awaking passion for rock, music and performing. Freddie was such an inspiration, taking all the hate in his stride and using it for his performances. I’ve already seen it twice and looking forward to the third😍
I'm so obsessed with this movie and all the songs and especially Freddie Mercury. 💕💕
I didn't know about these easter eggs and details before this video. Good job. 😁
Many thanks! :-)
