22:56 I also initially thought Sky represented the last of Viktor's humanity but the showrunners have confirmed that this Sky is actually the Hexcore manipulating Viktor into accepting its idea of Glorious Evolution. She/it disappears after Jayce's rejection because Viktor is now broken enough to give in and accept the transformation. She says 'no, you won't' because it knows that there won't be anything left of him to feel anything. I love this concept so much I could eat it. Also 'did they smash' 10/10
Which is weird right because..........she wasn't manipulating him into doing anything 'bad' per say. She was even telling him to 'heal' vander even though it was VERY likely that would have killed Viktor? What good is Viktor dying healing Vander to the hex core and what it wanted?
Wow… you magnificently summarised the complexity of Jayce&Viktor story - roots of progress, temptations of progress, and price of progress. Conflict between humanity and perfection, price of choice, weight of necessity, idealism and hope for tomorrow, duality of good and evil… ah, I can keep going for a while. Love Arcane, personally
With Jayce and Viktor's story being in the background most of season 1 I think people were kinda shocked with what ended up happening in season 2 since they might not have been paying too much attention before. As they're my favorite characters I was of course paying lots of attention and I thank you for making a video so focused on them and not only on Jinx/Vi/Cait lol
I wish we got more of Jayce and Viktor so we could at least clarify what their relationship meant. Transcending with your soulmate into the unknown, in an embrace is so beautiful. But for me it was so painful seeing them die in each others' arms. It reminded me a lot of people who died in the pumice of pompeii. Initially, i didnt even think these two had anything from the first season, but i think with just how many intentional parallels there were, and everything they went through, the 'promise' to his 'partner.' It felt so much more than anything on the plane surface level of romance or platonic. But it was profound and indescribable love. These two would not exist in other timelines if one was not there for each other. Because if viktor wasnt there when Jayce was going to commit suicide, then Jayce would've ceased to exist. And much is the same for Viktor; if Jayce didnt save him every time from the brink of death, Viktor wouldnt exist. And I realised, with the two co-existing, they cannot get rid of each other. Jayce attempting to kill Viktor when he came out of the arcane did not work. He came back. So the other option was to cease existence of both. They are the yin and yang, the half of one another. A lot like Plato's symposium. In that light, i'd like to think that their souls are married, connected, or strung together (however you wanna call it). Much like the concept of the Red String of Fate (红线, hóng xiàn). The Red String of Fate suggests that two people connected by this invisible thread are destined to impact each other's lives deeply, regardless of circumstances. Jayce and Viktor are inseparable halves of a whole, intertwined through life, death, and transformation. Their connection transcends categories like romance or brotherhood; it’s more cosmic and spiritual-a connection that defines and sustains their existence, much like yin and yang or soulmates. I do not agree with the "brotherly" perspective. They are each others' half. A symposium. ** edit: I want to add that I believe in this proverb which explains them perfectly: "If you love someone, set them free. If they come back, they're yours; if they don't, they never were."
I’m probably in the minority where I like it ambiguous. I know people are uncomfortable with things being left undefined but I actually think it’s quite fitting for them. I’m not a fan of either end of trying to force the “truth” that they are like brothers / platonic nor that it’s romantic. I think given the scale of what they are involved in, it doesn’t matter. They are clearly soulmates and cosmically bound to one-another. Something of that level I think just cannot be defined, especially in the context of our “Real world”. Fans are projecting their vision or desires onto them, but I don’t think we should because in the context of their purpose, there is so much going on and their new mission is beyond being defined by human relationships.
I am on team Jayvik even if the devs denounce it. Vikitor gives romantic ace vibes as someone who hasn't been able to use his body much then evolved past it. Victor mirrored Mel in many ways and it was quite a choice. They really shouldn't have done that if they didn't want people questioning what was really on Jayce's mind not with an insane fan base, if they wanted them to be brothers from another mother they had the opportunity to pen in it a million lines, you are the brother I never had would have worked. Instead we got whatever we got and I think it fine if people see it how they want. But as far as I am concerned the devs telling everyone in Twitter that only boys who like fighting and boobs play league and are afraid Jayvik might catch fire don't really know their own community very well.
I think Viktors storyarc was so brilliant! Outcast > innovator > addict > demigod > hyperspace timelord who saved himself from himself and in so doing saved the world as well. Really trippy when you realize that he was the one who sent Ekko and Heimer away and without their trip "our" realities Viktor wouldn't have been convinced about the reality of free will seeing as Ekko's device is the ultimate proof that such a thing exists. I think vision/control, free will/determinism self as individual/self as collective are the main themes in Viktors and Jayce's story overall.
Heimerdinger was right in the long run but he failed to see or adress the short term problems his views created. In the end he was able to both live truly in the day to day basis while knowing what the future holds in the long term and prepare for it. Jayce and Viktor are definitely alive; they were both inside the wild rune and warped just as we saw the rune do multiple times before.
This breakdown is awesome!! I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who thinks that there's legitimate backing behind Jayce+Viktor being alive and traveling through dimensions to keep protecting others. I was also crying and then sobbing at the end of the finale, one of the most beautifully made shows I've ever seen, and the fact that love was at the center of everything really touched my heart ❤️
I love the way you can relay all this information in a way that makes it so easily understood... nearly every other arcane recap I've watched presented it in a way thsy suggested everyone watching already knows the basics... I left each video basically as clued in as I was when i got there but you have the gift of storytelling, and there's just no replacement for that thanks for what you do
Wait don’t tell me that jinx persona is the physical embodiment of “the way to insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expecting different results” cause that would deserve a huge amount of respect towards the writers of arcane. I’m just know starting to see how beautiful the writing on this show is.
My theory is like yours in that they are somewhere in the multiverse/arcane/void. However i think its possible they come back. I think that one of the long term story arcs they want to tell is about the mages of runeterra. There is the black rose organization, but the have an evil tilt. I think the lore that may be in the works is a guild of mages that will unite to watch over runeterra and try and prevent major catastrophes and fight if they happen anyways. The black rose is the dark side, and this guild will be the light side. So we will follow Mel in her story to develop as a mage, and we will meet more mages. Than we will see Jayce and Victor come back as fully developed mages, they will tell about the many timelines and threats they have witnessed happen to runeterra, and together the good mages will form the guild for some major event that is about to happen.
This. Despite how powerful Viktor became, there are so many bigger fish lurking around Runeterra. The imagery in Viktor's hivemind screams the involvement of something MORE and there are other hints as well. Where were all the threads leading to? How did the Hexcore literally lay Viktor out when he tried to destroy it? I saw a theory that suggested the Hexcore was a tool used by either a Celestial or something from the Void to get Viktor to enslave souls so they could siphon soul energy... and I kinda live for it. Plus, canonically, Targon does not have as strong of a grip on Aurelion Sol as they used to. His crown is starting to fracture. It would be SO COOL if this was something to do with him. Like maybe he's finding a way to collect soul energy in order to keep expanding the cracks in his crown and free himself.
@@ElixerJohn I agree, there's only body for Ambessa Medarda, everyone else is just some form of MIA: Jinx in her boat going to who knows where, Jayce and Vik teleported, Warwick? Juiced up as it was would have shrugged a nuke going off on its nose, so escaped, Heimerdinger is back in Yordle City...
Jayce and Victor could fix some timelines, but there will always be at least one timeline that falls to Victor's evolution. There has to be for the events in the prime timeline of the show to take place.
@@Thewhiteandorange they've never should be alive to begin with, jayce and viktor are also both anomalies, its a bootstrap paradox, jayce should've died in the snow storm like he was supposed to and viktor should've died to his disease
9:40 "DID THEY SMASH" LMAO I'm gone 😂😂😂 No really, the build up to that final moment between Jayce+Viktor where they were expressing their love for one another and the want to be by one another's side to see their journey through was so beautiful and heart wrenching, but I was absolutely waiting to see if they were going to kiss or smash right there in the Arcane floaty space lol; lowkey I wished they would've kissed but they're also soulmates so idk I think we won for sure
@@omega7057 I personally have not ever felt their partnership was anything revolving brotherly ties like other fans have said; and I also have watched these two characters express their thoughts on their connection to each other in ways that I'd say include other attractions besides the platonic. There's nothing wrong with fans having different feelings on the topic of these two souls for sure, I would just be lying if I said I agree with anyone who says these two are "only platonic", and that's okay!
@@thatguy1488 You do realize that bisexual people exist? Being with a woman doesn't make a dude straight. You claiming the character to be straight is also forcing your preferred sexuality and ideologies onto others. Fact is, we just don't know, it's up to everyone's own interpretation what kind of love is between Jayce and Viktor, so let people have their own opinions as you have yours.
You made me feel better about Jayce and Viktor. I had a feeling they weren’t dead, and I was dumbfounded when they disappeared. I didn’t take it as death though. But I did start to think they were gone, but everything you said makes SO much sense. Thank you. 💕 You just got a subscriber! I love your storytelling!
This video script... Dude you really went off with this. The way you summarised Viktor and Jayce's story, Arcane's themes, values, storytelling technique and symbolism... I am in awe.

It is not a civil war in Noxus, I think you're misrepresenting what the Trifarix is about, many of Swain's ideals won't align perfectly with Mel's but it's more likely they'd join forces or co-exist if they both think the Black Rose is the greatest threat, which they would.
Swain isn’t spying on piltover yet he makes his deal with raum after he returns from the first invasion of Ionia it just raum looking for a vector of escape from being imprisoned by the black rose
The video was perfect! :) maybe one interesting theory also is that Sky does not only represent his humanity but more than anything she represents his constant pursuit of the rune of inspiration that is necessary to complete a perfect mastery of his powers. When Sky is introduced you can see her notebook and her colors are the ones from the rune of inspiration, same as for jayce, he says he tried all of the runes and the only one that ended up working has the symbol of the rune of inspiration
I think you got your directions mixed up there on Jinx. Yes, she was going the opposite way from the ships, but the ships were headed east to get to Noxus. She's heading west. So either she's heading to Shruima, or perhaps Demacia, which would make sense to head to Demacia given she's basically washing her hands of hextech (rhino, her new dual purpose cannon, was notably, NOT hextech but just regular tech). This also paves the way for her friendship with Lux. Shurima makes sense as it has a tech area too, as this is where Rumble is now based out of lore wise, as well as likely Ziggs, and would give a way to pave a way for that relationship too. I do agree that bildgewater would make sense for her to fit in (or ionia for that matter, since its likely the next series will likely be based around the ionia/noxus war), but given the harrowing and all that, it seems like the opposite of a place she'd like to go, given what she just survived and was washing her hands of. The yearly harrowing also isn't exactly a secret or unknown, as one of the arcade games in the arcade was based on the harrowing. Also, worth noting, that wasn't swain or one of his ravens YET. That was just Raum. The war in ionia hasn't happened yet as singed is pivitol to that, so swain hasn't made his bargain with raum yet, as posited by the writer during Necrit's Q&A.
I see a lot of people arguing over whether sky’s disappearance represents viktor losing his humanity or the arcane succeeding in its manipulation of him, but like…why can’t it be both? The arcane’s success results in the rest of viktor’s humanity being lost, and viktor loses his humanity as a result of the arcane. Both things are simultaneously true and both things can be represented equally well in sky’s disappearance, even if we know she was a manifestation of his guilt that the arcane was using to manipulate him, because he only has that guilt as a result of his remaining humanity, and the arcane only has to manipulate him because of that same humanity. She can be a symbol for both interpretations because both interpretations are correct, even if one is literal and one is metaphorical
its not confirmed that the crow is swain, it MAY be one of swain's crows, but the most logical answer is that this is the demon Raum himself, before the noxian invasion of ionai, before Swain made a deal with the demon
I still don't understand why Jayce attacks Viktor right after coming from the future. I feel like that put Viktor on the path of chaos and destruction. If he talks to him instead is that delayed, or does it still happen at all? Viktor up until that point didn't seem hell bent on complete takeover. I was kind of pissed at him how Jayce approached that. Like dude, talk to him first.
So far I've heard that Jinx will go to Demacia, Bilgewater and Ionia and all theories seem somewhat legit. It's going to be fun to see where she actually ends up
Also arcane was set before the invasion of ionia. So swain had not yet lost his arm and therefore had no connection to the demon raum so the 3 eyed raven is likely just raum himself unless they’re going to change Swain’s lore on how he got in touch with the demon
Most likely, Swain has not yet been fused with Raum, and it was just Raum himself spying, otherwise there are a lot of things that wouldn't make sense. I'm pretty sure Arcane is supposed to take place BEFORE the invasion of Ionia, unless Riot very specifically confirmed otherwise. In Arcane, there’s no direct mention of Noxian military expansion, let alone the invasion of Ionia, which imo would suggest it hasn’t occurred yet.
Great video! One little feedback - some scene transitions sounds (around min 22) are annoying and a bit too loud, once you recognize it you cant focus on the good video anymore. :(
the Creators and Actors kind of blew the mystery when they were asked if Jinx survived,Ella in particular looks really guilty, hiding behind her question card, They are leaving it open, So She is Alive. They do this a lot and my lotta movies and shows when they leave characters Fates ambiguous, so in near or far future, they can bring the character back some post credit reveal. with Piltover & Zaun believing her dead. She finally took that Leap leaving her soulmate, her sister and home behind to build something new,A new life,She found the Will to walk away so she can finally fill her own cup for a change. Start fresh. I think Jinx’s plan was to leave regardless after helping fight the Noxians. I think Ekko and the apparent romantic scenes that were cut where Ekko tell her about the Other Her, finding out that there is a good version of her, and it’s not too late for Jinx, they both build weapons together and paint each other, it’s unclear if she told Ekko or not that she was leaving, the fact he burned a paper, maybe she didn’t unless the paper was for the alternate Powder or it was for Heimerdinger. Cait figured out Jinx survived so maybe Ekko figured it out too, but had to let his soulmate go, She finally got to ride an airship ❤❤
@@Tusks109 So Officially Jayce and Victor are dead same as Ambessa. Heimerdinger & Jinx are officially Unknown. The Whole Unknown Status just mean ALIVE but being put on a shelf for awhile. So Maybe Ekko thinks Jinx is dead or he is burning the paper for someone else he lost. There are already talks about seeing more Ekko and Jinx together, The Creators Jinx not Powder so I assume not Jin's Alternate self. So as of now there could very well be 2 Powders in the same reality. One in search for her dead sister and the other is Unknown and is elsewhere..
I don't think Swain is the current emperor, though. The demon Raum could still be under the control of the Black Rose, and Singed hasn't helped Noxus with the invasion of Ionia yet. The 3 guiding principles that Ambassa was explaining specifically pertained to the art of combat. I think those 3 guiding principles existed long before Swain became emperor; he was just the one who implemented the 3 ruling systems of Noxus.
@@brandonbaty2291 I think it was Viktor (from the destroyed timeline/ universe)going to different timelines to get Jayce interested in magic and create hextech and meet Viktor (of that timeline/ universe) . He gave Jayce different runes because he didn’t know which one would allow him to stop the glorious evolution until he got it right with the teleportation rune ( or maybe it was acceleration idk).
Bridgewater is a good place to begin a new, but you are going against your thesis, if Jinx want to begin again, and not as a criminal, Bridgewater is the last place that she want to go. What about Damecia? Sure, Jinx would be like a fish out water there, but she would find new friends like Lux, and if the spin off would be in Noxus, I think it would centre in the frontier wars, because Noxus is really wanting to expand their territory.
it's already confirmed that the next show(s) are gonna be set in noxus, or demacia, or ionia, or take place in all of them, so you're right about noxus being next
Y'know one of the craziest details that Jinx has at the end? In the final assault, she wears clothing similar to Talon Du Couteau, the Blade's Shadow, one of Noxus' premier assassins trained by Marcus Du Couteau, Katalina's father. That she and Talon share a similar origin but in different cities cannot be a coincidence.
I have a theory, that wasn’t Silco who was talking to Jinx but Kindred. I think when Jinx try to swallow the hex core Kindred good side convinced her to spit it out a they took it. Which is why we don’t see her use her use her pistol in the fight.
Really enjoyed your video! I found your channel through your complete league lore since I was watching Arcane and wanted to connect lots of dots lol. I like your take on where Arcane might be heading to, I don't know if you saw Necrit's video interviewing Christian on where they might take the next shows but Noxus, Ionia, and Demacia. My initial prediction was actually Ionia, since we saw Swain's 3 eyed crow and since Noxus is already introduced. Initially when I saw the airship I thought it was just an introduction to going over seas to Ionia but since I found out that it was possibly Jinx, now Bilgewater makes more sense. I don't see her going to Ionia for any reason and if Jinx goes to Bilgewater, I think that is a great place to introduce Ziggs since they were supposed to meet(in Piltover as canon in Comics) but since no Heimerdinger and she left Piltover, Bilgewater seems like the next best thing. I doubt we would see a cameo of Jinx anytime soon though, maybe a reference.
something cool i think about is how a while back it was teased that yasuo and Ahri are going to bilgewater, if that continues in the arcane canon and we send Riven over there as well we could truly see the quartet of misfits interacting in bilgewater, all of whom destroy everything they touch
The 3 eye crow is not yet swain that's just the demon that soon swain will take control over swain in the time line swain takes over that demon after noxus makes an attack on ionia which hasn't happened yet
I have to wonder how future Viktor regained his humanity. Did he only suddenly realize what he was doing was wrong once there was no one left to evolve? Or did he see something even more terrifying than his perfect future waiting beyond, and snapped back to reality and find a means to stop himself.
My extra large copium is in AU after Main universe Ekko left, the AU powder is finally intrigued to tap into her potential like Vander always told her. She will get herself into hex tech. And probably build one that can travel into Main timeline Ekko Universe because she somewhat got the hint she’s still alive due to Ekko painting. But my schizo copium didn’t stop there. She will switch places with Jinx in main Universe, she will experience a life with Vi, and Jinx will experience a life where both of his fathers are alive, and both of his brothers too are there. It won’t be permanent they will go back to their own universebut but it will be a therapy session/fan service of a spin-off of a season if it exists in the near future 😂. Hey riot 👀 I’m not suggesting anything buttt…
I really liked this video, and the way you analyze Arcane series. It is good. But I think you are confused about some things. Swain is not the emperor of Noxus. Noxus once had an emperor, but he was dethroned by the Trifarix, a consul made by a trio of warlords each representing one of the three values of Noxus: Might, cunning, Vision Think the Trifarix as the Roman Republic Triumvirate: the informal alliance between Julius Caesar, Pompey Magnus, and Marcus Crassus. The same thing is the Trifarix. So Noxus is more like Piltover, a nation ruled by a council
i don't think swain is the grand general of Noxus yet in the timeline of Arcane because he only receive the power of the Darkin after the Ionia invasion and during the downfall of general Darkwill. We know for a fact that the Ionia invasion started with Singed bombing the region with toxic chemicals so it's very unlikely that Swain was the grand general at this time, but the time that he received the power of the Darkin or the raven it's the Darkin itself.
@@Lutzifalilia i have been a league fan for 10 years and i also watch the interview from Necrit with Christian Link myself, Swain being a Grand General at this time is all a speculation and hasn't been confirm yet so don't throw that at me. I simply stating the fact from the canon lore, if the show confirm this in the future then i have nothing against it. For now it's not canon.
Everyone talks about the same topic, how about the rune crystals? From where or what they are coming fro, the origin place the materia, how it started to form in to this? I want to believe i missed it all out :D Thanks the answers in advance
it cant be swain , what series gives off singed never worked to noxus before, which means that Arcane preceeds the Noxian invasion to Ionia , who used chemical weapons made by Singed, so dont make sense to said that is Swain
They can do with timelines whatever they want, and yes, even change it. I dont know if you havent catched on yet but they changed a lot lore wise and timeline wise.
0:47 yeah but he SHOULDNT have his crows yet, he gets that during the invasion of ionia after gassing the ionians, and losing an arm to irelia. he tricks(or whatever) the demon raum, and gains its power. then he has the three eyed raven's. and he gets the chemical weapons for that war from singed. i mean. we see him being sent away, but there isnt enough time for the war to start yet.
I hope with this new series we will have at least like a lead in from Arcane? Like I don't want to just be in noxus and have stuff start going down, I think it would be better for the events of Arcane to kick off what starts to happen in Noxus (and I think that will happen). I am also curious about 'old Viktor' we saw in arcane. If he is the 'herald who won' and is now bouncing around the time stream/multiverse, did he get wiped out after the past was changed or is he independent from all that and is now just a supremely powerful entity that will end up influencing the world in different ways?
@ It’s worth the watch-I respect the statements made about killing off characters LOL players would consider protected by plot armor. IMO, the fact that LOL recently released Ambessa for play underscores that fans shouldn’t get too attached.
Unless The OG lore was retconned, I thought technically all LOL characters are dead. Thats why they are called champions. Think the og lore is that since the rune wars was so deadly, people called "Summoners" would summon champions (legendary heroes of the past/iconic figures or monsters) and engage in 5v5 battles on the "summoners rift" to handle disagreements diplomatically instead of repeating what happened in the rune wars. @@ISpiers
Nah there is an interview with a streamer necrit confirming from the co creactor of arcane that they aren’t dead. The neflix after show isn’t actual confirmation
About Victor vs other mages, usually mages have a power over something, fire, wind, light, ilussions etc. Victor had the power to control "The arcane" itself in the purest form and use anomalies, thats why the black rose only warned about him and not helped because even for them it was a calamity, he even in his universe could be trated as a god. And yeah the thrive vs survive is a huge good point, one is doing something to his full power to get a 200% and another is doing the same, full power etc to barely get the pass one was struggling to progress and another fighting for his life, thats why when heimer said 10 years it will be ready, for Jayce was fine but victor isnt, he had no future.
The creators confirmed Jayce and Viktor are dead I’m pretty sure but stayed silent when asked if Jinx is still alive. I just wish Ekko got to reconnect with Jinx in this timeline and have somewhat of a life that he had in the alternate timeline 😭
thank you so much for saying how mel was helping him in the political field! it's his invention of the hextech and him being the face of progress that gave him political responsibilities and mel was helping him through that. i've seen so many say that she manipulated him into those things when that's just straight up wrong.
Swain is not the emperor of noxux. Noxus had a king and then was replace with the trifarix, also known as the council of three, with swain being one of thise three.
They have to move on from Arcane, to tell stories from other regions too, I believe this is to build up the road to Riot's MMORPG, so that people could integrate all the stories into the game and understand the setting of the world, most importantly spark people's interest to explore.
Heimerdinger: Bro this dope but you might need like a century to safeguard this, you could probably destroy the world with this shizz Jayce: Shut up and get off the council old man I hope Jayce realised Heimy was right while he was walking around limgrave

** edit: I want to add that I believe in this proverb which explains them perfectly:
"If you love someone, set them free.
Fans are projecting their vision or desires onto them, but I don’t think we should because in the context of their purpose, there is so much going on and their new mission is beyond being defined by human relationships.
long winded explanation for wanting them to be gay but shit me too
I am on team Jayvik even if the devs denounce it.
I left each video basically as clued in as I was when i got there
but you have the gift of storytelling, and there's just no replacement for that
thanks for what you do
Alot of the information here is actually incorrect or misinterpreted when it comes to the lore etc
Wait don’t tell me that jinx persona is the physical embodiment of “the way to insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expecting different results” cause that would deserve a huge amount of respect towards the writers of arcane.
I’m just know starting to see how beautiful the writing on this show is.
vaas from farcry 3 said that too
Oh there are many full circle moments like this in the show. They are geniuses.
Everything is intentional in this show. Everything.
I know it's unlikely to happen... but I hope we get an extended cut of Arcane with all the scenes they had to cut.
Guys, completly out of context but....WHERE DE F*CK IS HEIMERDINGERS PET??!! The fluffy white ball? what happened to it? T_T
He left his pet at Zaun. Btw, Heimer is still alive. No Champion died in the story. Warwick is also alive.
Either his “fluffy pet” aka a poro, is in zaun or back in bandle city/bandle tree with him
It's a poro, if you feed them enough snax they explode and duplicate like gremlins
I am REALLY tempted to write a Hachiko dog joke here. The way you write your concerns is delicious. 😈
BRILLIANT analysis, thank you for the thorough walkthrough of Jayce and Viktor's story, and also your humor is on point. Love this video so much!!!
I feel you. S2E7 is crazy. Still recovering from all the emotions. Thank you for the videos
Jayce and Victor could fix some timelines, but there will always be at least one timeline that falls to Victor's evolution.
There has to be for the events in the prime timeline of the show to take place.
Jayce and Viktor are both dead, as confirmed by the writers in the final wrap-up interview.
@@Thewhiteandorangei heard the complete opposite but then again i didn’t actually watch the interview
@@Thewhiteandorange the same writer said another thing in Necrit's interview
@@Thewhiteandorange they've never should be alive to begin with, jayce and viktor are also both anomalies, its a bootstrap paradox, jayce should've died in the snow storm like he was supposed to and viktor should've died to his disease
Incorrect as Arcane is now spearheading the canon. Everything before has to be restated as canon for it to be considered canon Riot has said.
It feels like a platonic love more than anything, but love nonetheless
Yea well wasnt meant to be with one of the co-authors being a raging homophobe
@@omega7057 I personally have not ever felt their partnership was anything revolving brotherly ties like other fans have said; and I also have watched these two characters express their thoughts on their connection to each other in ways that I'd say include other attractions besides the platonic. There's nothing wrong with fans having different feelings on the topic of these two souls for sure, I would just be lying if I said I agree with anyone who says these two are "only platonic", and that's okay!
Not everyone has to be gay dude they already showed he was straight stop forcing your sexuality and ideologies onto others
Thanks for the content. Arcane deserves all the commentary and I'm all here for it ❤
"The man of tomorrow was no longer promised another day", you cooked here
Fantastic overview - thanks for helping me connect some dots!
Great to hear!
9:40 'Did they smash?" Perhaps in another timeline they did? idk... 💀🤷♀️
I’m sorry if these videos take you a while to make but you’ve got to keep making more, I am hooked!
3:12 " She would have to destro her perfect KDA" ..... BRUH thas crazy !!!
You made me feel better about Jayce and Viktor. I had a feeling they weren’t dead, and I was dumbfounded when they disappeared. I didn’t take it as death though. But I did start to think they were gone, but everything you said makes SO much sense. Thank you. 💕
You just got a subscriber! I love your storytelling!
Correction: Jayce wasn't born into the Talos family; his mother married into the Talos family after they were transported to Piltover.
Wait so Jayce isn't a Talos?
Hmm interesting, makes you wonder if his story is as complete as we believe.
Where did you find this information?
This video script... Dude you really went off with this. The way you summarised Viktor and Jayce's story, Arcane's themes, values, storytelling technique and symbolism... I am in awe.
singed got the ending he deserved, hard work pays even if ur evil😂
This quickly turned into a recap video
It’s like my UA-cam knew you were gonna post your next video cuz I just finished your whole LoL lore explained video. As I go refresh your account, you posted this 17 minutes ago. Christmas came early it seems
Also props on both videos, I know it must be time consuming tysm :3
thank you, i got more runeterra videos coming. scripting void and ionia rn
I don't think any champion died, except maybe one case. We only have a body for Ambessa Medarda, everyone else is just some form of MIA: Jinx in her boat going to who knows where, Jayce and Vik teleported, Warwick? Juiced up as it was would have shrugged a nuke going off on its nose, so escaped, Heimerdinger is back in Bandle...
I thought heim was vaporized or at least was left behind in the alternate timeline
It is not a civil war in Noxus, I think you're misrepresenting what the Trifarix is about, many of Swain's ideals won't align perfectly with Mel's but it's more likely they'd join forces or co-exist if they both think the Black Rose is the greatest threat, which they would.
Love the final airship nod to the first episode
Swain isn’t spying on piltover yet he makes his deal with raum after he returns from the first invasion of Ionia it just raum looking for a vector of escape from being imprisoned by the black rose
It’s not the main game lore my guy, anything can be changed
The video was perfect! :) maybe one interesting theory also is that Sky does not only represent his humanity but more than anything she represents his constant pursuit of the rune of inspiration that is necessary to complete a perfect mastery of his powers. When Sky is introduced you can see her notebook and her colors are the ones from the rune of inspiration, same as for jayce, he says he tried all of the runes and the only one that ended up working has the symbol of the rune of inspiration
Cant wait to see Draven and Urgot in the next show. Well maybe Urgot wont appear, but Draven is 100% going to be there
I think you got your directions mixed up there on Jinx.
Okay but what happend to heimerdinger i mean the lore of yordles suggest that they are immortal so that should mean he is still alive
I don't really care what happend but Singed got the best ending which makes the season an automatic 10/10
i bet you're a jungler

A video on the void would be great! I love learning league lore from these videos
its not confirmed that the crow is swain, it MAY be one of swain's crows, but the most logical answer is that this is the demon Raum himself, before the noxian invasion of ionai, before Swain made a deal with the demon
It's going to be fun to see where she actually ends up
That's not Swain. It was never confirmed that Swain was the emperor as of yet. The demon had been collecting info and such long b4 it got a host
Also arcane was set before the invasion of ionia. So swain had not yet lost his arm and therefore had no connection to the demon raum so the 3 eyed raven is likely just raum himself unless they’re going to change Swain’s lore on how he got in touch with the demon
Swain was never an emperor to begin with, he's a member of the trifarix, representing vision
this is very nice, loved this video. It helps me understand the show more : )
the Creators and Actors kind of blew the mystery when they were asked if Jinx survived,Ella in particular looks really guilty, hiding behind her question card, They are leaving it open, So She is Alive.
The paper being for Heimer and not Jinx is insane levels of connecting the dots.
I watched the video about the arcane timeline. Great work!
ty
I am going with the “traveling through timelines” explanation for Viktor & Jayce for coping reasons lol
So the mage that saved Jayce and his mum was Viktor? As I saw him give him the stone over and over in the final episode?
And it was a different rune every time too. Which I dont really understand the point of that detail.
@ ohhhhhhh
@@brandonbaty2291apparently it’s that specific rune which is a reversal rune so at the end when they unleash its power, it reverses viktor’s power
@@brandonbaty2291
I think it was Viktor (from the destroyed timeline/ universe)going to different timelines to get Jayce interested in magic and create hextech and meet Viktor (of that timeline/ universe) .
Bit reaching, but I like the creativity of this
I have a theory, that wasn’t Silco who was talking to Jinx but Kindred. I think when Jinx try to swallow the hex core Kindred good side convinced her to spit it out a they took it. Which is why we don’t see her use her use her pistol in the fight.
But also I think when she does repair she will be using the hexcore from VI gauntlets, if you go back we never see the orb drop
I hope we can see more of ekkos story in the future
The Episode 7 was truly amazing, I watched it again and again in 3 different languages that I know. It was beautiful.
The scene that hit me the most was the final evolution scene we’re banded finally truly died
The 3 eye crow is not yet swain that's just the demon that soon swain will take control over swain in the time line swain takes over that demon after noxus makes an attack on ionia which hasn't happened yet
omfg thats me smacking the shit out of the mic lmaooooo
I have to wonder how future Viktor regained his humanity. Did he only suddenly realize what he was doing was wrong once there was no one left to evolve? Or did he see something even more terrifying than his perfect future waiting beyond, and snapped back to reality and find a means to stop himself.
Loved Jayce and Viktors story so much. I do hope I see more of Ekko and possibly Jinx tho. Thought their relationship in the good verse was sweet.
Great insight, thank you.

Hey riot 👀 I’m not suggesting anything buttt…
i love your explanation
I really liked this video, and the way you analyze Arcane series. It is good.
But I think you are confused about some things. Swain is not the emperor of Noxus. Noxus once had an emperor, but he was dethroned by the Trifarix, a consul made by a trio of warlords each representing one of the three values of Noxus: Might, cunning, Vision
Think the Trifarix as the Roman Republic Triumvirate: the informal alliance between Julius Caesar, Pompey Magnus, and Marcus Crassus.
You do know that the showrunners can bend timelines as they want? Same with character stories if you havent catched on yet.
0:47 yeah but he SHOULDNT have his crows yet, he gets that during the invasion of ionia after gassing the ionians, and losing an arm to irelia. he tricks(or whatever) the demon raum, and gains its power. then he has the three eyed raven's. and he gets the chemical weapons for that war from singed. i mean. we see him being sent away, but there isnt enough time for the war to start yet.
what if she is going to ionia to heal or something?
thats interesting
I hope with this new series we will have at least like a lead in from Arcane? Like I don't want to just be in noxus and have stuff start going down, I think it would be better for the events of Arcane to kick off what starts to happen in Noxus (and I think that will happen).
I am also curious about 'old Viktor' we saw in arcane. If he is the 'herald who won' and is now bouncing around the time stream/multiverse, did he get wiped out after the past was changed or is he independent from all that and is now just a supremely powerful entity that will end up influencing the world in different ways?
This video is Apex Copium. We're taking shimmer with this one.
I think it's morel likely she's heading to Ionia. Noxus hasn't launched their invasion on the island yet. Jinx will play Swain's foil.
The Arcane Afterglow: Act 3 video seems to be clear the Viktor and Jayce are, in fact, quite dead.
And I hope they are.
oh really? when i made the video it hand't come out gotta check it out
@ It’s worth the watch-I respect the statements made about killing off characters LOL players would consider protected by plot armor.

Nah there is an interview with a streamer necrit confirming from the co creactor of arcane that they aren’t dead. The neflix after show isn’t actual confirmation

Hextech will return to this time line because swains crow managed to come in contact with the information in the last episode
hello, how do you get that crumbled paper filter effect on your still images? Like at 23:51
that i believe they send it back when jayce was young to stop hextech maybe there where ryze guard the runes for help
VI IS THE JINX
BACK TO THE SCENE WHERE VI DIES AND EVERYTHING IS FINE
What was LeBlanc doing to Ambessa before Mel intervened?
Heimerdinger: Bro this dope but you might need like a century to safeguard this, you could probably destroy the world with this shizz
Jayce: Shut up and get off the council old man
I hope Jayce realised Heimy was right while he was walking around limgrave
I'm going to stand by Jayce's decision to get freaky with Mel. One should always choose that. :D
I think it would be cool to have 3 shows following a 3 act structure, just with an overarching story
Bro is the governor of Copenhagen
great video but the clicking noise for the transitions is loud af
also are they going to explane how victor returned to his original form after his redemption etc dunno arcane didn't make sense to me story wise etc
