Happened to me, I was at the bar, watching a match of the 6 nations, France vs England, the whole bar and me were supporting France, and there was one single girl who were English, so I started to talk with her a bit, and 2 guys next to me talked with her as well, the girl even bought us shots but at some point, I felt left aside because I don't have much conversation in comparison of my mates, so I left without telling anyone and went back home 😅 I can definitely relate to Wojack's situation, when you feel like you don't belong in a certain situation, you just leave
Yup, when you’re like this it’s pointless to compete with the extroverts. It just comes off forced and weird. It feels like we were born this way just to ultimately suffer.
Don't fight. This isn't your fight, fight only more favourable fights. Shy girls exist, they just don't usually go to such places.
I'm kinda more an extrovert, but this is not about "who talks the most", it's about sympathy. Maybe the two other guys annoyed her secretly with their blabbering. You never know. Stand up for yourself and listen to the conversation, she was talking to all three of you so why not interfere with your own thoughts about the topic? You can be much funnier than you think, if you don't try it you'll never figure it out. Even if she is not interested, she won't bite you and nobody will be mad. Try it, simply talk about your thoughts about the game and if the conversation differs to interests in general, you simply tell what you like - you don't want a girl which doesn't fit your personality, trust me. I've a high bodycount but not found real love except once in my life.

And you definitely don't want to be a shy adult man. I used to be shy as a kid and thank God I grew out of it. Find the root cause of your shyness and what's causing it. Usually it stems from wanting people to like and approve you and wanting women to find you attractive. You're putting people on a pedestal.

I'm an extreme introvert and shy guy I can't talk to girls bcuz of my shyness and that's why people often think I'm arrogant I'm not arrogant i really want to socialize but I just can't whenever I go out I always feels like everybody is watching me and judging me feels as if I'm in a spotlight I have social anxiety and I always end up being like a clown when I push myself to talk to anyone they think I'm naive I don't know if I can ever get rid of this shyness.
