In the world of disability what works for one person may not work for another but the fact that big companies are making things like that is nothing short of incredible
ABSOLUTELY
The difficulty with stuff like this is that even a small problem has a massive impact on its usability and it needs to accommodate such a huge range of different needs for the players. It must be so tough to design and build, which is why further iterations will be needed it seems
This is the type of innovation that needs to happen. Despite the issues, its a step in the right direction and its really cool to see something tangible come to life, happy for those who now have to opportunity to play.
Just checked and Sony offers the STL files to 3D print the (what looks to be) the flat button cap and a stick cap that doesn't look like much. I'm willing to offer my services and try out some prints.
You should totally do this especially for the buttons that curve upward

The fact that he can play again when he never could before makes it a 11/10 rating. Better than great in his case, irreplaceable.
I'm glad the industry is creating more of these unique devices. Don't take the things you have for granted. stay healthy.
It seems painfully obvious that they should of made the switch profile button just a rubber membrane button, no idea why they went for that type of recessed button

Is the analog stick supposed to "stick" because mine does and scrolls to the ends of menus etc
No it might've developed a drift, get in touch with customer service and they might be able to help you out.
Can this controller be used with a Logitech G29?
How does the controller handle the one Spider-man 2 section where you have to balance both adaptive triggers as they push against you?
They have the ability to have that feature man.

They should make the button customization available to everyone, regardless of the controller.
There already are controllers with customizable buttons.

To lower or ease the entry level needed so that disabled people can play as well

Some players will abuse this technology to get wins. Because that's what players do. Also, why not Collab and invest in fulldive VR? That way everyone can game, escape reality and whatever people do with VR (cough|porn|cough)

Here's an idea IGN. Instead of having the guy that gave the PS Portal a 8 out of 10 despite pointing out all its massive flaws... why not have this Grant guy he kept on speaking for be in the video for once? It would've been so much more impactful to the viewer hearing about these experiences from HIM instead of hearing it second-hand from this guy!🤦🏾♂

Because there are people who like/want to play games, but find it exceedingly difficult to hold a regular controller due to physical disabilities that negatively impact their motor functions.

You can not pretend to champion this controller while blasting those who want difficulty options in From Software games.
Yes. You can. Don’t act like most people who could overcome the game wouldn’t lower the difficulty immediately and greatly lessen their experience. Not having that temptation is an intentional and great feature of the game because it’s designed to be difficult. Some by design games exclude some people by skill or taste in base game, that’s how it is and should be. The vast majority of players including the ones you’d throw a pity party for understand that. There are mods if it’s a huge deal.
