I think what I love most about Rebecca’s videos, is that her asmr triggers are brought on by every day things we do: taking notes, coloring, reading, cleaning, cooking, etc. It brings in the realness and with that brings a calmness to our crazy everyday lives. I appreciate all the other ASMR channels out there, don’t get me wrong but Rebecca is out here changing the game up and I love it 👏🏼
I have the same. And I got my first amsr vibes when I was a kid and it was everyday life. Like at school I loved to watch someone taking things out of a bag etc, made me relax... So this is real amsr for me 🥰
And she doesn’t do the extra tapping or extra stuff and she doesn’t do the repeating letters like s or t or whatever like a lot of them do and it’s more natural it’s not professional like a lot of ASMR is

And that is because everyone has different triggers. In the long run, my style of ASMR is actually more work than some who appear to be “professional”. I don’t have one stage/set to do everything in. I have different locations and different props and different activities to do. So I am always moving my camera and microphone equipment around. However, there is a lot to be said for those who are gifted with the ability to create mood and lighting. People like Marie at GentleWhispering are super gifted. Diane at moonlight cottage. They work their butts off creating original material where in they are really doing things. I think that saying I am not professional is not the word to use. Better to say that I am simple and not overly produced. But I take your overall comment as a nice compliment. So, thank you.
Earlier this afternoon, I had to say goodbye to a dear friend and companion. I was pretty inconsolable, so I laid down and experienced this video again. It took me back to memories of myself as a child accompanying my grandmother to weekend yard sales. Afterward we always went back to my great grandma's house, and while I dozed, they would spend the afternoon unpacking and cleaning the treasures we'd unearthed. This video took me back to a time when I hadn't experienced the kind of sadness I felt today, and for those brief moments of lazy joy, I'm so grateful for Rebecca's masterful ability to transport and transcend through sounds. Thank you so much for all you do.
I am still so obsessed with your videos! You helped me fight pregnancy insomnia and my baby will be one next week and here I still am 🥰 I always feel so guilty because I don't get to watch much of a video before I'm peacefully drifting off to sleep! Definitely my favorite ASMR channel ❤
