My OCD and hatred for math are why I am not in this business. I've got major respect for those that do this kind of work every day and share it with us. I like it when Chris and others take the time to explain the logic and reason behind each step in a project. It makes it more interesting.

I could never get the hang of doing grade elevations. You definitely have the skills. I've always followed my bosses instructions and did my best. I must have done something right, made a paycheck and my boss was happy.
Dang Chris, You have a Great eye for Grade.!! I think it must be many years of experience, on top of a natural eye. Thank u so much for fantastic video!!! You must be a math genius to figure all the dimensions out. Thank u for explaining each step! Keep the dirt rolling. God's blessings and be safe!!!
Glad you had a pile of hot coals to restart a fire. Nice to see basement builds - we don`t have many down here in Fl. unless someone wants a downstairs indoor swimming pool. Get Ol` Betty brought to move that dirt pile while Barney is still up on blocks. My Saturday tomorrow will be finishing spread of 10 yds of crush crete.

Amazing you can keep all the dimension in your head, I need written notes to tell me where I left my written notes! The lot is looking better and better! 👍👍
All that equipment and the laser setup really makes that a lot easier on a fellow,I have done many of those type jobs with only a track loader and a transit. That looks good and very productive for a one man crew. I always had to have a person to hold the grade stick or try to prop it against the tractor, not the best or easiest method.
