I was a child when I was watching all these races. Bought a lot of motorsport magazines and never expected that I witnessed the greatest time of F1. This was a very good video.
Can you please make more videos like this one, it is really fantastic to see the old cars, the drivers and the history behind, and I particularly like how you add the Beyond the Grid stories of the drivers to your videos 😁🤗 Really fantastic 👍 Thank you 🍀
Very impressive footage of this beautiful F1 Season where I have visited some races. Have never seen these cars anymore so good and the impressive performance of Jan Lammers is well explaniert👍
@@ClassicFormulaOne1 Absolutely, Gustav was a legend ... but only for small teams. The ATS of 1980 and 1983 were all beauties... and really quick. And so were the Maurer F2 car, the 1988 Rial and the 1993 Minardi...
A bit more luck and this might have worked out differently. But then luck is probably not the biggest factor in reliability. Plus Günter Schmid has repeatedly been painted as someone whose leadership style set the team up for failure. Too bad.

thanks man! Yeah I have this say this video is one of my nicest 🥲
Hope you all liked it. You will not get closer to an ATS F1 experience then this 😉
Loving the attention you give to these smaller teams!
Smaller teams are often interesting, and have beautiful cars
Thanks for this videos, really like them! 👍
Thanxx ❤ more is coming!
Good video 👍 Would like to see more about cars from this era
It is indeed a quite interesting period of design, wingcars were used until 1982, after that groundeffect cars got banned from F1.
Great Video and great Work!!!
Thank you mate!

thank you for highlighting these teams ... it brings back so many memories of F1 in a special era.
Thanks, more is coming, probably next Friday 😊 keep on tuned
Top job🏆
Great footage as always, thanks. I also enjoyed the BTG podcast interviews being used, excellent idea. Keep theses excellent videos coming, cheers!
Yea I'm always looking for useful quotes by the people or drivers who experienced it first hand.
A fast and very elegant car made on a shoestring budget. Gustav Brunner was always at his best in small teams ...
Gustav is a legend 😄
