After exactly 10.000 views I sadly had to remove the previous Arrows Ford 1989 video due to copyright claims. Not to worry however, I made some changes and added some new cool footage about the Arrows A11 at Imola 1989. Enjoy the video!
Amazing video, was there for the original. It’s a shame FOM keep taking down videos. If you’re open to a suggestion for a future video: 1989 life L190 😂, or, Leyton House’s 1990 season
No one seems to realize Derek Warwick could've won the Brazilian GP in 1989 at the Jacarepaguá circuit. He ended up the race on P5 less than 18 seconds behind the leader Nigel Mansell with the Ferrari. But both pit stops by Warwick were absolutely awful performance by the Arrows Team. Warwick lost almost 40 seconds between the two pit stops he made that day. With two standard pit stops Warwick could've fought for the win that day.
It was a good chassis, but better than Newey's Leyton House March? The Arrow certainly took some inspiration from the March, it looks like the March from '88.

Thank you so much, this is good content !
Love to see this footages knowing the context at the time.
There is so much to explore in the 80s F1. 🏁

It was Goodwood, not the FOM 😅. Yea I like Leyton House too!
@@ClassicFormulaOne1 that’s a surprise, it’s normally FOM 😂

True, sadly I could not find footage of Warwick at Brazil so I left it out.
@@ClassicFormulaOne1 I have footage and I can asure you it was a joke. It was like the Monty Phyton were changing his tyres.
Magnifico🏁👏🏆
thx!

Leyton House had the best chassis in '88 but in '89 they had a terrible year, wrong aerodynamics etc.
Перезалив видео? Ютюб заблочил прошлое?
I had to make a small change yes. But the video is now even better with more action footage from the 1989 season, enjoy :)
Lovely car, but you can't win races with customer DFR engines.
@@ElectoneGuy that's true although Alesi did some very good results in 1990 with this engine.
Schitterend...
thanks 😇
