I start monday i get flew out on sunday just seeing recent videos really give a good incite. i been watching your videos every time you post, its not much videos recent from anyone who been through the training
That’s awesome. Appreciate you watching. I think im leaving Sunday so I’ll probably miss you. Tell everyone Opey said hey. You’ll enjoy your time here. Wilson is a really good company.
I hit them up having already had my CDL but they won't hire me because of lack of experience. They'll take a totally fresh person and get them their CDL and train them, but they won't train a fresh driver whose CDL they don't have to pay for? I don't get it :(. I just want training dangit
@@gerradwalker346 One of the better starting companies as long as you don't go lease. Decent training program, possible regional gig outta training but we'll see. Decent training pay. 10-15 cpm (based on the truck I get) more than the first company I went to whom also didn't train me basically at all and caused me to become demoralized and go home after a month.
@@isuckatguitar12 oh ok then! Yeah I plan on doing a get paid too get your CDL program because I've heard that after getting your CDL, that it's best too have something set up otherwise you'll have a harder time finding training!
Excellent video, Gentlemen!! So... I thought Dave told me training pay is $800/week, starting from the first week upon arrival. Did you say it was $200?? Or is that just for meals?? 🤔 Thank you for this information. 🤗💖🙏
So during the 3 weeks you are getting your CDL they will give you a $200 advance that you’ll eventually pay back $25 a week. Once you get your CDL and go over the road for 25k miles with a trainer you will then get $900 a week.
@@truckingjourneychronicles Ok.... Good to know. I'm making roughly between 700-1000 a week at my current job. So, I should plan for a decrease for a couple three weeks. It will all work out and be great. I'm excited!! 🤗💖🙏
Yes, you will make $0 dollars until you go on a trainers truck with your CDL. Then us trainers will pay you a guaranteed $900wk before taxes. Sometimes it could be more depending how hard we run that week. While you have you permit. No money. Only a advanced. I would save up enough to cover personal bills and food while you aren't getting paid. That way you don't have to pay back a $200 advanced. But everyone's situation is different. @@colekelley244 That would be cool if you happen to be my trainer. I go for my physical on the 7th, then I'm ready to take the knowledge test, here in Washington State.
Wassup I’ve been watching your videos. Appreciate the info that you’ve given, but I was told that you guys get $900 a week during training and orientation is that true?
What’s up?!! The day you pass your CDL test you start making the $900 a week. During the 3 weeks of orientation and training you aren’t making anything. They do offer you a $200 advance they will give you during training and orientation. You will pay that back once hired at $25 a week.
That is so awesome what Wilson does I have had my CDL since 2017 but would always thinking about getting back into it also to get training
