The America 250 Tartan Collection - 13 Original Designs!

How do you express the spirit of America? Through art. In our case, tartan. But you can’t really capture the scope of the American spirit in a single design ... so we created thirteen!
Our America 250 Collection is an homage to all the good things about America...and what it's like to live the American experience. These unique and original tartan setts use color and line to celebrate our awe-inspiring landscapes, our heroes, our ideals and our diverse communities.
We will release a new tartan every two months leading up to the American semiquincentennial on July 4th, 2026. America 250 our most ambitious project to date. Let’s celebrate the things that make America unlike any other country on earth!

I love the sound of the steps as Rocky walks over that floor and out that door into the light.
This is so exiting….and i’m not even American.
And the world needs a respite, a breather now and again of positivity and light so that we can get the strength to do something productive about our troubles instead of bickering about them.
Any artform, any craft, any celebration that can inject a bit of that is a step in the right direction in my book.

I'm no longer active but I was the Bass for Michigan Scottish Pipes and Drums. Back then we had a tartan that was a muted RED,WHITE and Blue for the Bicentennial of the good old USA. They now have a new tartan that honors our late Pipe Major.
